I'm thinking he wasn't unconscious, but just dizzy (vertigo); I agree he doesn't sound drunk, and you'd definitely sound drunk if you were about to pass out from alcohol poisoning.  Now that you mention it, this was pretty much the reaction the entire family had to Rocky dying in the yard.  "Oh, wow.  That's so sad." (standing around staring at him)

I think Amy said he was unconscious, but it is Amy so you never know what her word choices might mean, she could have just meant he was on the floor or they edited that part out. BTW their reaction to Rocky was totally what I was thinking of!

I thought next they would just stand there poking him with sticks saying is it alive!

The first time I saw the show I swore Jeremy kicked him.  I guess that was just me projecting how trifling I think the Roloffs are because I didn’t actually see any of that in the video. So it’s clear, I didn’t think it was like a soccer ball kick, but more like jiggling Matt with his foot, but he didn’t. Sadly, that’s what this show has come down to me thinking well, at least, Jeremy didn’t punt his dad like a football. 😂

Exactly when someone is so drunk that they pass out they don’t wake up a few minutes later talking perfectly normal, no slurred speech.

A small comment about Matt's control freakery.

I completely respect his wanting to be with his parents while they are ill (just making the point).

I don't really understand why construction has to halt on his dream garage. Hear me out. Its all being done by contractors. Matt's not personally building this garage. He's not an architect, he's not a professional carpenter, electrician, roofer, etc. Realistically, his role in building is to write the checks. Why is he stopping construction? He has to be on site and watching?

Why not watch it go up if he can?  I would!

"Checking up on" his parents sounds like a quick visit; not a major caregiving undertaking.  The building is MOSTLY up.  It's a barn - not a house - so nothing needs to happen on the inside (Amish and other teams working together, and Matt praises his, complete a barn-raising in a single day).  I wouldn't worry...  A month and ten days leaves plenty of time.  Another Roloff nail-biter/cliff-hanger!

Well, he knows there's a time constraint and its not exactly the Taj Mahal. All4mom2, my small correction is that its a garage made to look like a barn and I am pretty sure that unlike the Amish, Matt will have to build to code, including electricity.

You're kind of making my point about the control freakout - he knows it has to be up by a certain date but he's choosing to shut down the build because he wants to watch.

And if its not done I am absolutely willing to bet his excuse is not "I wanted to watch it go up and thats all that matters". Nope, totally will bet that the "my parents were sick!" card gets thrown with no mention of how all the work is being done by contractors, not Matt personally.

Hopefully it is a short trip but if he's moving Mom and Pop to his AZ place and they're both ill, I kinda doubt it.

My point is that while a garage will eventually need electricity, and I'm sure the interior will be completed to perfection ultimately, there's no urgency to finish the interior in time for the wedding.

I don't consider enjoying the fruits of one's labor and taking pleasure in watching a dream become a reality being "a control freak," but YMMV.

Its a garage, not a home, and he did commit to first, not starting building until after the wedding, and then to completing the garage before the wedding. If he's delaying the build because he has to be on hand to watch and to hell with his obligations, that tells me his need to control everything is a little out of hand. YMMV

So Matt's allowed to make promises and not keep them and thats everyone else's problem? I mean sure, shitting on Amy is kind of expected and exactly why I thought the wedding on the farm was a bad idea but has Chris - who seems to like the whole idea of the wedding on the farm - done something to deserve this?

Meanwhile it still seems unreasonable to have stopped construction. Its not like Matt is needed to pound nails.

Agreed, It's just unfortunate that Matt has to play games like this.  I mean, I am not surprised surprised that Matt is all about Matt but I am a little surprised he apparently doesn't trust his contractors to work without him watching.

Well, Amy and her man may not like the view but the wedding will take place on the farm. I don't think the construction not being finished will prevent the royal wedding.

You get what you pay for… when u cheap out and have your wedding at your ex husbands farm it’s your own damn fault if things go south and you wind up with a mess.

Amy sits on Instagram with toady Lisa shitting on Matt and Caryn and then expects him to care about her stupid wedding…. When she did that I felt like the gloves are off and Matt can do whatever the hell he wants.

When she talked about Matt and Caryn not being invited to the wedding, she made such a face and said NO, why would I want my ex and his girlfriend at my wedding.  Well Amy maybe because you are having it free of charge on his farm.  I think they should have been given a courtesy invitation.  If the wedding was at another venue then I can see not inviting them.  Either way they would not attend.

Rude, childish, and - yes - ungrateful.  In other words, typical Amy!

Chris used to be polite but Amy’s childish rude behaviour is rubbing off on him as well… the nerve of that white haired, pot bellied jackass saying “she’s moved on to bigger and better things”…. Bigger MOOBS that’s for sure.. Chris is rivalling Amy for big saggy tits.

they both deserve to have their ridiculous royal wedding turned into a circus sideshow… Chris can be the bearded lady  🤡 🎪

How about when Amy referred to Caryn as Matt's "girlfriend, fiancé, partner or whatever her title is", that was rude.  These 4 people do not need to be socializing for the purpose of this show.

Exactly… Caryn and Matt have referred to each other as “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” for a long time like Amy and Chris were “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” but Amy just can’t resist being a rude little shit.

she should concentrate on her complexion and see if someone can help her get rid of her truffle pig face 🐷

I only remember that some were saying Amy and Chris are in love, but Matt is banging the help.

Whats incorrect about that? Caryn was getting a paycheck for being the farm manager while Matt was smooching her on camera and telling the public he was in love.

Isn't there an entire thread for Amy's rudeness?

  • Love 4

And Matt and Caryn are never rude? Because they often are. And Amy does believe Matt and Caryn had an affair prior to the divorce which neither Matt or Caryn will address... or deny. Except when Matt intimates that Amy is leaving things out and then refuses to mention what those things are. And when your answer to "was Amy correct about you having an affair" and your answer isn't "no" but "well, she left some things out".... what does that say?

  • Love 4

Matt deserves some happiness he was married to the bitchy little succubus way too long!

It's Matts property and if he wants to erect an old style outhouse next to the royal wedding that's his choice, if Chris was a real man he wouldnt have allowed his wedding to be at Amy's ex-husbands property, what a pussy!

Amy is a sour turd that no one but Chris wants to be around and he's just there for the money and his fetish for tiny women, so creepy

Old BUG EYES probably has boxes of Playboys, poor Henry has seen things that no little fish should see!  😲

It's wasteful, for starters. There's nothing wrong with the big house, its actually designed for his disabilities, and there's various features created to his tastes. The small changes Amy made - that "ruined" the house - amounted to painting the kitchen cabinets and painting over the red in the living room.

Second, at last check, the dream house is indeed a two story McMansion and every other dwarf member of the family get soundly railed on for oversized two story homes. Matt is single so does he need a five bedroom home with a second story.

Third, mark my words, he won't be happy with it.  He never is.

My fourth isn't really a fourth in that I don't actually care but... I question whether he really has the wealth to afford two gigantic homes.  I'm actually curious to see if he spends money he doesn't have to build this place.

  • Love 6

He can spend as he likes, its not going to stop people from commenting on his choices. Does he really need a second Mcmansion with two stories that he'll be displeased with as soon as its done?

AzChristian I see your gripe and ask this. If Amy had died soon after Jacob was born, would Matt have had the free time to dream his dreams or would he have needed to commit to stable employment to provide for his children on his own? Marriages are partnerships... Matt wouldn't be where he is without Amy. She earned her half of the marital earnings just as he did.

I disagree that Matt was "dissatisfied" with the farmhouse.  Yes, it was always a pigsty, and no, he didn't care for Amy's renovation of the kitchen, but he built it up from what began as a shack and I'm sure enjoyed his accomplishment and liked the finished product.  Of course he wouldn't want to live the rest of his life in a double-wide trailer, but he's made that a very cozy and attractive home, too.

I don't know too many second wives who would be asked or expected to take up housekeeping in the home of the first wife.  Besides which, Caryn does the cooking, and the kitchen is dwarf-sized, and Z&T must move in to carry the farm and show into the next generation!

Is he always looking forward to the next project?  Yes; it keeps him young at heart, healthy and active and happy, and it's proven profitable.  Live your best life, Matt.  That's the best revenge!

Matt has expressed his displeasure over Amy's changes... yet they are mostly cosmetic.

Oh boo hoo Matt's girlfriend doesn't want to live there? She's got her own home at last check, and if the kitchen is an issue, I mean really, renovations are less expensive. And honestly plenty of second wives move into their man's home. As for Zach and Tory? They don't seem to be budging.

I wouldn't want to do it and if I were Amy I would be happy about them not moving into her former home.

Couldn't you just see her seethe if she walked into what used to be HER house, but it was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated???

To be honest, I wonder if she'd even be embarrassed about how nasty it used to look.

Many second wives don't get to have the option of refusing to live in the prior wife's home and Caryn isn't even engaged to Matt.

It's a moot point whether they're married or not; they're obviously in a committed relationship and plan to live together full-time.  Wherever.  Neither wants to begin a new life in the old house, and that's their prerogative.  How exciting to make a fresh start somewhere else together and begin anew!  It's too bad Amy can't seem to get excited about that (seemingly only about the wedding itself)...

Matt is milling his own lumber. And probably selling the rest at a profit.

Not really. Hate to break it to you but unmarried people are not the same as married and I see Judge Judy make that point way too much to doubt it.

Matt says he's milling his own lumber but the property is a) mostly fields and b) small amounts of new growth trees that aren't being chopped down. He's buying logs and having them milled on site. There's no evidence of any lumber sales happening. This reminds me of Matt's large profit making furniture business he was starting that turned out to be Matt buying himself some custom chairs from a long established company.
