Those were 3 very pathetic people. It all comes down to the Kardashians becoming rich & famous with having any actual talent except self promotion, & now all these other talentless people think they can get lives like that too.  Did Greyson really think Kim was going to see him & immediately want him to be her new BFF? Brittany was delusional "People don't understand that social media is a job. I'm a personality,", no sweetie, nobody knows who you are, & your best friend tried to tell you that. I hope somebody is looking after Sherrah's kids, when it said she was going to have "mommy surgery" after she gave birth, all I could think was the money she didn't have that she was going to spend on the surgery instead of her kids. I hope all 3 realize that this show is the only 15 minutes they're going to get.

I watched part of it and now have it on again (thanks cold for keeping me up!).  The guy doesn't look like Kim; I've seen drag queens who do the look much better.  Not sure what he wants out of it -  he said something about being a stylist or representing some of their products.  Uh, no.  They didn't make piles of money by working with amateurs.

Actually none of them really looked like Kim that much.  Long dark hair, lots of makeup, but they are worlds away from being a Kardashian.  That family has always been wealthy, even before the fame.  They're just now extremely wealthy and famous.  Exactly what do they want to emulate?  They just want the money, fame, and that lifestyle.

One wants to be a "star bartender".  I think the reason some bartenders are mini celebs is due to their own personality, not trying to be a cheap imitation of someone else.  I'm sure that those bartenders are also known for their actual bartending skills.

The other chick just wants to not have to work.  Actually, all of them want to have the lifestyle, be rich, and be besties with Kim.

I kept thinking, you couldn't have picked someone who actually has done something notable?  Even Kris the Momager would be a better role model of sorts; she is the one who actually has been behind all of the money and fame her daughters now have.

Does MTV pay these people to show us their mental illnesses?  Not one of them even remotely looked like Kim Kardashian and even if they did, what purpose would it serve? Why would you be friends with someone who was a cheap imitation of yourself.  Actually, the star of this particular episode is Grayson’s hot husband & if I was Grayson I’d be careful because he may lose him to someone who actually looks like a GUY and isn’t spending time & money on this delusion of his.

OMG I just realized this show has returned!

Butt Surgery Episode:

I was so lost as to why that 17 year old boy's parents agreed to pay for the surgery with their life savings.  And at the end of the show the update was he decided not to go to college, works doggy day care jobs and never paid his parents a dime?!?  Is this what parents are like nowadays or did this kid have a dirty secret he was blackmailing them with?!  And at the end of the show his butt was still tiny!

Military wife: all she really needed to do was work out and eat better, she was only 23, you still have good metabolism its normally easier to get back into shape.  I believe she also said she just wanted the surgery because it was quicker results than exercising.  She had such a sweet and loving husband.

The instagram model with the big booty, um maybe I'm old and don't "get" the young generation but I didn't think there was much attractive about her besides her face, her body really needed to be toned up and I'm just not a fan of all the random tattoos.  She had an actual career as a vet tech and just gave it up for internet fame!!

I went back and watched last week's episode after.  I felt so bad for the military husband, all he wanted was the male he married, not some creepy obsessed Kardashian fan.  And that Brittany girl looked more like the Cash Me Outside girl than Kim.  Is this what people in their 20's are nowadays? Obsessed with being famous without having any talent?  It looks like next week's episode is in the same vein as the first two where people want to look how they do on their snapchat filters in real life.  This show is very sad.

I agree that I don’t understand the obsession with the large butts but  I really wanted to strangle the young man who is so spoiled and self centered that he used his parents life savings for such a ridiculous purpose. I was almost happy to see him in pain. Why didn’t the Dr. explain all the factors to him BEFORE he was ready to go into the OR. I suspect the Dr. is a bit of a charlatan.

I don’t understand the obsession with the Kardashian’s or having a huge butt either. I’m not going to blame the 17 year old guy for being selfish or self centered, I’m blaming the parents. ‘We just want you to be happy’. Maybe I’m old fashioned but I don’t understand this way of thinking either, they are not doing him any favors by indulging his every whim. Go to college, get a job, pay for your own plastic surgeries.

I'm with you. At first I thought that the kid's parents were really supportive, but as the show progressed, I realized he was just a little asshole whose parents are probably helicopter parents who do everything for him & told him what a special snowflake he is his entire life.

The military wife was delusional. If she really wanted to improve her looks then maybe she shouldn't wear a wig that looked like part of a Halloween costume. The comb over was as bad as Donald Trump's. She could use a talk with the big booty IG model. While I don't understand why anyone would consider that kind of body attractive, I respect her for the fact that it's her real body, & she exercises to tone it up instead of using surgery. I've seen interviews with strippers & former strippers (Cardi B was one) that all talk about how the girls with the big bootys are the ones that make money & that's why they got surgery, so a lot of guys must actually like giant asses. I just don't know why.

I personally suspect the 17 year old is an emotional blackmailer. I can see him threatening to harm himself /using his sexuality to guilt his parents. They seems loving, supportive and exhausted. Especially the father. Their kid is a jerk and that handful of ass should not have cost $8,000.00

The military wife - her ass should have been the least of her worries. The hair, the junkie apartment, the clothes. She had several struggles that should take precedence over getting butt surgery. I did want to get a  spoon and eat up those beautiful babies of hers

Instagram model - let me just say this - I have a big butt. Mine is DNA and squats just like hers. If I had to choose between not having one and having one I would choose my big ol' booty. Yes, lots of men like "giant asses." My body may not be attractive to everyone but I'm working with what I was given. I agree buying one is beyond ridiculous and 100% of women with FAKE giant asses look ridiculous. But I'm not going to knock or fault the girl because of her body just like I wouldn't body shame someone who was thin. In the urban market, I can see where she is making money. Most black men that I know prefer a "healthier" looking woman with curves and a butt. There are exceptions of course

My hubby (who is white) once wrote me a love letter with a top 10 list of reasons he loves me and #1 was "DAT ASS" hahahaha

That 17 year old was annoying as heck. His parents seemed extremely supportive but the previous poster who mentioned emotional blackmail... yes, I kinda felt like there was that hanging over their interactions. The parents made so few objections and gave so much (I would never ever empty the coffers AND go into debt for purely cosmetic surgery for a teen, wtf) that it definitely felt like there was a lot behind the scenes.

Funniest scene was loading that kid head first into the SUV. Is that standard procedure???

So far this iteration of True Life lacks for me. I liked the original version which often dealt with the deeper issues and gave you some ability to empathize or understand the person. Seeing a bunch of people obsessed with social media is not compelling enough for multiple episodes, IMO.

Agreed. At this point people are way too aware of what being on television could potentially mean so it all seems so calculated and scripted. None of it seems authentic

What hideous people. The Mom talking about her daughter... What a terrible person (who has horrible eyebrows). Saying her daughter *could* be an ugly duckling story??? I felt bad for these daughters being raised by such a superficial focused parent.

The twins talking to the lady who said she was 23. I laughed. I mean she probably is 23 but she looked like a 40 year old trying to look 23.

I get that styles change, but I seriously am mystified by this heavy makeup look that takes fresh, youthful women (and men!) and makes them look like old people trying to look young. And kind of all the same. Hiding all their unique features. None of these young people look all that young when they are all made up.

It's not summer until see Tommy Cheeseballs.

They need to air it! I'll probably feel guilty for laughing as his life hasn't been easy but this episode is so great. It's on MTV's site to stream but I'd prefer it on tv or itunes to purchase. I don't know how much longer my copy will last.

I'd also like to see Slim JG!
