Seems Dana's father didn't die from his gunshot wounds - he lived for at least 5 more years and is quoted in an article about Florida's controversial Stand Your Ground law.

Expert testimony by Janice Cuzzell, a Registered Nurse and Board Certified Wound Care Specialist, indicated that Nurse Edwards negligently failed to take appropriate action while the ulcer was deteriorating and especially on November 21, 2000 when the ulcer was 90% pink and emitted a fetid odor, indicating progressive tissue necrosis beneath the skin. At that crucial stage she should have had a direct conversation with the physician and not left a message. She should have got Cody to a physician or taken him to an emergency room. The ulcer would then not have progressed from Stage 2 to Stage 4 and remained in that state for five years thereafter. Gentiva made a motion for a directed verdict, contending that the court should hold that there was no evidence that Nurse Edwards caused the injury since the ulcer was preexisting.

The court denied the motion holding that there was a case to put to the jury. The jury then awarded Cody $3,050,000 in damages. Gentiva appealed, but the appeal court held that the injury was caused by Nurse Edwards failing timely to intervene, leading to the development of a Stage 4 ulcer that had not completely healed after five years.

On a happier note, when these episodes were being filmed, it was leaked (by George undoubtedly) that he had a 3 some with Miss USA and his fiance.  Now his fiance is Dana/Cody and it's rumored that she is a lesbian who is amenable to rich old dudes.  Dana is also friendly with Blac Chyna who is friends with Kim K.  Can't wait until Aviva starts naming dropping those turds.

On nymag.com, it's reported that Dana's father passed away in 2010 and is survived by his daughter Dana, son Derrick and another son Howard (who goes by Edmond as well).  The people search sites show Dana's father as alive and still residing at the same address.  Hard to say but in any event, I don't want to see any more George.  I could deal with Dana as Aviva's stepmom as long as there's no George.

Looks like there's an Edmond Howard Cody from Florida, born in 1947.  And then a son, with the same name, born in 1972.  Many of the same addresses that come up for Dana L Cody are the same for the Edmond H Codys (both of them).  And indeed... the elder Edmond H Cody is deceased.  Died in 2010.

I posted some of this in the wrong place earlier--- and searched some more.--- so hopefully I am posting it in the correct place.  That whole scene with her parents death and her reaction just seems so phony and contrived.  I made a little time line of our little Dana's activities along with what I could find about George.  According to some of the things I uncovered it appears that at least in 2011 Dana's mom was alive and her name was Angela Page. She is listed as a manager in both LA and Miami Salon, I also read on some other sites (no proof given) that Dana is a former stripper--- that might explain her friendship with Blac Chyna-- who is a former stripper. 

 

Here's the time line I came up with and you can see when George became a part of tiptoes. (LA and Miami shops are spelled different and have separate twitters etc) It looks as if the mother would have had to die between 2011 and 2o13  or is no longer involved in either business since George became involved .

Another Good find Lola16. Oh my gosh.... Dana's poor family history. I am trying to figure out now why she would put George's name on her business in Miami. .Both of her salons were running in 2013. On customer reviews I read the service was really complimentary and the biggest complaint was that often you had to wait to get an  appointment..Her businesses sound like they are successful. So why would you let George buy in?  Then I thought perhaps she was going to use it  to expand to LA but LA was already in existence. There is something very fishy about all this---even the way the proposal was done. If he is suppose to be such a wonderful romantic guy ( according to Dana& Aviva-- certainly not me) why would he hand over a gift bag like he did. There was certainly no romance there. It was so matter of a fact it could have been anything. Maybe Ramona has it pegged--- she is looking for a parental figure---- or maybe she wants to be on a reality show star .
