Occasional Hope October 29, 2018 Share October 29, 2018 I was talking to an elderly lady the other day in a cafe, she must have been 80or so, and she’s been a Doctor AWho fan since it started . she stopped watching during the Peter Capaldi era bc she struggled with his accent, but likes the new doctor. DanaK November 5, 2018 Share November 5, 2018 As an American first-timer to this show, this was a pretty enjoyable episode. I'm sure it's hard for a 55+ show to keep things fresh and non-redundant, but it was fun for me. The Doctor purposely continually pissing off the Tim Shaw alien was pretty funny and the humor was enjoyable all around 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/74693-s11e01-the-woman-who-fell-to-earth/page/5/#findComment-4810339
DanaK November 9, 2018 Share November 9, 2018 While the Doctor was taking her nap and getting glowy with the regeneration process, she exhaled this glowy energy thing. I saw the same thing happen in Matt Smith's first full episode. What is it? Just part of the regeneration process or does it have significance? It probably doesn’t matter in this case. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/74693-s11e01-the-woman-who-fell-to-earth/page/5/#findComment-4821717
ganesh November 9, 2018 Share November 9, 2018 I'm figuring since she fell out of the TARDIS and smacked into the ground shortly after regenerating that the energy was still healing her. Ten lost a hand and grew it back. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/74693-s11e01-the-woman-who-fell-to-earth/page/5/#findComment-4821727
call me ishmael November 9, 2018 Share November 9, 2018 Yeah, but they have done it a lot recently. Besides 10 it mattered when 11 was scattering regeneration energy around when he was turning into 12. But I doubt it had any significance this time. Do you think it did? ganesh November 9, 2018 Share November 9, 2018 No. I was explaining it to the new dude that is just a product of regenerating. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/74693-s11e01-the-woman-who-fell-to-earth/page/5/#findComment-4822055
