Nev and Max agree to help Chelsea finally meet her online boyfriend, Charles, in person. While Chelsea has only spoken to Charles once, on the phone, the guys soon show her that a picture speaks a thousand words

What is it with girls pretending to be men in order to attract another girl?? If she’s attracted to a guy, she’s NOT going to want to hook up with another girl!

And why in the everloving hell didn’t she spot the wrong last name on the guy’s uniform? She was a catfish waiting to be hooked.

I was thinking EXACTLY both of these!  Did Chelsea just think they wear random uniforms and the names don't matter?  You can't wear hand-me-downs!  Well, you can, but the names would need to be changed.

How does a mother live in the house with 2 people and not get curious about why a film crew is hanging around for days and days or that her daughter had a crush on the person living in her house ?  This was totally set up.

I hadn't watched this show in a while, but is the new thing to not use the Catfish/Catfishee's real house for privacy reasons?  There is no way that was not an air bnb they filmed in for the scene with the mom. 

I missed the very beginning, did they say why Chelsea was rooming with Domonique and her mom in the first place?  It couldn't have been because of strife with her own mom because she went back home for a few weeks after the whole reveal thing.

Also I don't see a reason why they needed to sleep in the same bed other than a producer or Nev thought it sounded like a hot twist

I half watched the episode, but the mom acted like she didn't give a rat's ass about the catfishing going on under her own roof.  Wonder if it'd happened before...….

Some people are just too damned gullible.  I missed the uniform thing, but damn.  Why aren't people using search engines before they're sharing intimate details online with someone?  A background check is under $10 I think.   At least Google the person, see if it looks legit?

Well, that was a complete surprise to me. I wasn’t surprised by Domo being the one, I was surprised that she did it because she was into Chelsea. Sleeping in the same bed, YIKES.

That was really obnoxious how Nev was all, "Okay, now let's get this friendship back on track!" Like, what if Chelsea was pissed and didn't want to be friends anymore (or at least for a while)? Anyway, can someone fill me in on the update at the end? My DVR cut it off.

I've deleted the episode, but they were together at the check-in. As I remember, they actually went out a few times - they showed some footage of a very awkward "date" - but Domo (I think it was her?) wasn't feeling it the way she thought she would, so they are working on reestablishing their friendship. Someone else may remember more clearly

Eh, this one felt fake. How do you have a crush on your best friend for like 2 years (enough to Catfish them for 18 months) and then when she's actually open to it, you lose all interest after a few dates? Domo was pretty though.

To be fair, Chelsea didn't even notice the different name, it was Nev who pointed that out.

What really bugged me was that Chelsea was living with Domo's family.

I'm not into girls, but Domo was cute.  Domo's mom was the only one with any sense. 

I was glad to see two black women on TV not flip the hell out on each other.

Right. My point exactly. LOL!! I did the online dating thing and scrutinized every detail of every photo, and did background checks once I knew their name.

This episode hit a new low for me. First, I can't see how or why anyone, particularly Nev, should think it entirely plausible that Chelsea might after all be interested in dating Domo after having been in a (fake) relationship with a guy for the past year and having expressed no previous interest in women. That they would default into "maybe after you think about it, you might want to go for it" just horrifies me. I mean, I'm fine with people identifying as any kind of sexuality that feels right to them, but to presume it's all entirely fluid and subject to whim is beyond me. Frankly, I thought it was downright predatory for Domo to lie to her day after day while sleeping next to her night after night. It totally gave me the creeps and I cannot fathom why Chelsea would consider dating her.

Yeah, the sleeping in the same bed part is what really creeped me out. Imagine Chelsea thinking about it afterwards, wondering if every time Domo "accidentally" touched her in bed if she was really copping a feel. Nope.

So, I have a crush on someone who's just a friend now.  I think the best thing I can do is lie to them and Catfish them!  Yes, that will totally win them over!

Does anyone ever really think this out ahead of time?  Like the person will magically say, oh I was hoping it was you!  That only happens in the movies.
