thewhiteowl July 2, 2018 Share July 2, 2018 Will and Katie question whether their family is safe in Seattle. Snyder digs up dirt on Everett Kynes. Amy parts ways with Broussard. Link to comment
UNOSEZ July 5, 2018 Share July 5, 2018 Good episode... Finally some movement ...still not sure what side of the fence guys like kynes or Snyder will be on by the end of the season. Was glad Eric and Katie got reunited those two always worked well together... Be interesting to see how throwing Amy into the mix will shake things up.. I feel like she's gonna have a bit of an issue with how close those two are even tho I believe it's a platonic relationship 2 Link to comment
Dowel Jones July 5, 2018 Share July 5, 2018 I had to laugh a bit about Will and Amy's conversation, when she tells him "You need help. Real help." Yeah, I don't think psychoanalysis is covered under the Occupation Forces insurance plan. It would be hard to get anyone to speak freely. 5 Link to comment
Joimiaroxeu July 5, 2018 Share July 5, 2018 "The world's worst reunion tour." Never change, Snyder. Katie hears Broussard is back and she is right back on board. Aw yeah, they're getting the band back together, baby! Kynes' guys just shined Snyder on and got a free lunch too. I like this new guy Will and Broussard recruited. Wonder if the outliers are all ex-military? I think firemen would tend to be in excellent shape too. So is Snyder working this IGA guy Garland? Or at least using him as a shield in case his move on Kynes turns into a pile of doo-doo? 2 Link to comment

The guy playing Synder is so good at making want to hate him. Did Will really have to ask Broussard what he did wrong to Amy? Kynes has the upper hand with his assistant going to fool Will and the outliers. Is this where Synder comes in to help the group? 2 Link to comment

Yeah, I don't think psychoanalysis is covered under the Occupation Forces insurance plan. It would be hard to get anyone to speak freely. Amy is annoying. I think it's the actress. Broussard has known the Bowmans longer than he's known her, yet he is supposed to cut ties because she doesn't like what Will did. I get that Will is acting off kilter so I understand her concerns, but she is asking Broussard to trust her when she doesn't trust Broussard. I should be more sympathetic to her but she seems all over the place. I contrast that with Katie getting the outlier list from the woman in her office; I was sympathetic to both of them. The woman tells Katie she's selfish because other people have families (true) yet Katie needed what only that woman could get (also true). The whole outlier categorization is interesting. Seemed like we were treading water a bit and this new piece of information is a good twist. Why put them all in one place? Either those in control don't care if the outliers contact each other, or they want them to contact each other for some reason. I like when Will and Katie are working together. I did laugh when they (along with Broussard) were "take us to your group" uh, no. Ha. Outlier guy was not going to just trust and take them somewhere like that. 2 Link to comment
eskimo July 6, 2018 Share July 6, 2018 I can't decide if Kynes is a bad guy for the resistance or a bad guy for the IGA. Or somehow both? It crossed my mind that maybe Kynes's intention is to reserve some of the outliers for a fight against the IGA. If that's the case, it doesn't necessarily mean that he's on the side of the resistance either, but maybe. So far we know there are the Hosts, the Host's other alien enemies, the humans that are working with the Hosts, and the humans that are working against the Hosts (we'll just forget about the general population who's just trying to survive but not actively taking a side). It's possible there are humans working with the Host's enemies already, anything's possible. Could the technology that Kynes has be from the other aliens and that's why he has access to them but the IGA doesn't? It just doesn't make sense that if the Hosts need humans as resources they wouldn't be spreading this technology around to every colony to nurture those resources. Just a thought. I think that's what makes this show so good, there are so many scenarios that are equally probable. And there are a lot of complicated relationships and interminglings among the major factions and characters. I have no idea who's up to what (besides Broussard and the Bowmans) and it lets my imagination run wild. 7 Link to comment
Haleth July 6, 2018 Share July 6, 2018 Early in the season I was wishing we'd have seen more of the Bowmans surviving in the wild, but this has been a good reset, lots of plot possibilities. And while I still expect Kynes to break into song or do scenes from a hat, he is an intriguing character. 2 Link to comment
Graciela July 8, 2018 Share July 8, 2018 I wish this show was on Netflix. I would have binge watched it already. This week's episode was intense. The Bowmans need to sit down and have a long family discussion. Every single thing out on the table. 3 Link to comment
Efzee July 9, 2018 Share July 9, 2018 Was the guy talking to the hardware store outlier in the opening scene the same guy talking to Kynes about the outliers wanting weapons and the guy 'escorting' Snyder? It was hard to tell for me. Oh and was it just me or was the background noise very loud for everyone else as well? I could hardly hear the dialogue on occasion, but the rain sounded like it was falling on my own windows. Link to comment

The rain in the background was really strong and distracting and as it did not seem relevant to the scene I kept wondering if they just got caught in a real rainstorm and did not have time to re-shoot. Anela July 25, 2018 Share July 25, 2018 (edited) I feel like I've missed something. I don't know why people are assuming that he's going to help the group. Snyder. I thought they might be herding the outliers together, to be ready to fight the other alien force that's supposed to be coming, but that wouldn't explain why the rest were killed at the beginning. or taken somewhere. Exactly. If the aliens needed the "outliers" why did they herd and kill Broussard's cell and all the other cells when they first arrived? They would have had thousands more outliers. These are the dumbest aliens ever or more likely just like with Lost, the showrunners have been making it up as they have been going along. Edited July 26, 2018 by SimoneS 2 Link to comment
