Awkward silence in the bathroom as Kaitlyn, Winston, and Brett are all in there.  I'm sure she'll run back and tell everyone that Brett still won't talk to her.

Bayleigh said she poured out the syrup and there were 20 ants that came out of it because someone left it open.

One reason why I could never be on this show. How do these people live like this? How are there that many ants? If I was on this show, I would totally be like Sam, just cleaning all of the time. Bugs outside? Fine. Bugs inside where I live and eat? Nope, not happening.

JC was being SARCASTIC and Kaitlyn, being the narcissist that she is, bought it because nobody would dare lie to her!

Or she simply doesn't understand sarcasm.

Winston was in the storage room campaigning to Tyler.  He told Tyler that what's good for Tyler's game is that nobody realizes that they're working together because they don't really hang out and nobody ever sees them talking alone.

Eeewwwww!  I just saw a commercial for a new reality medical TV program called "Dr. Pimple Popper."   No way!  Whoever came up with that title must have been watching BB.  1st they can go on "The Amazing Race" and then they can go on "Dr.  Pimple Popper." It's a natural,  a match made in heaven.

I think you'd have to be an idiot to not realize Brett was making fun of Kaitlyn by saying he had a vision, but apparently it went over some of their heads.

Bayleigh just said she is allergic to latex condoms.  So that might explain why she wasn't using any with Swaggy.  However, I'm sure she could have requested some latex free ones from the DR.

/catching up on feeds

This does not surprise me at all.  Obviously we could all see it with Rockstar but Hayleigh wanted to be on BB and by definition most people who want to be on this show in particular these days have some famewhore and/or looney side to them.  (Gee I just thought of someone who could be on a celebrity version of this show in about 3 years, hah).

If (a) Sam doesn’t use her Power this week and (b) L6 wins the next HoH comp, then I could easily see two Power Apps being burned next week - Bailey using Identity Theft to put two L6ers OTB, and Sam’s Bonus Life allowing the evictee a chance to return.  So while it may be irrelevant in terms of overall effect, it definitely won’t be boring.  :)

Yeah I think this next week is going to be wild and funny.

6 hours ago, Lady Calypso said:

I am positive that Bayleigh won't waste her power next week, unless she knows she's a target. She has seven more weeks to use it. Why would she waste it so early on?

Bayleigh will wait until the week before jury starts, at least, to use it, I'm sure of it.

But someone up above said she told Fessy. He may not have told anyone ...... yet.  But everyone eventually leaks like a sieve and if he or two of his alliance mates are put up next week the cat will be out of the bag.  They need to avoid an eviction or the numbers will destroy them.  Bay has the means to save them.  Yeah, Bay will have to use her power at that point or risk Rockstar accusing her of being Judas or Benedict Arnold or whatever and working for the other side and Bay will end up making herself a target.  These power apps are fun, two edged swords.  Except for Tyler so far who is the only one NOT to tell anyone at all about this.

2 hours ago, xKHANx said:

I agree, but doesn't Tyler's power have to be used BEFORE the noms are made?  As in, "I think I am going to be put up this week so I am activating my power before the nom ceremony."  Not like Paul's where he was protected FROM nomination for 3 weeks.

I thought he plays it secretly before a nom OR a backdooring attempt on him someway (sitting on a cloud?) so BB knows he has used it officially but he doesn't give away he has it until after the nom or backdooring is attempted at which point I assume BB tells the other person that Tyler is safe.  At least I think that was the gist of it but I'm guessing too.

2 hours ago, Ceeg said:

Sam is telling Rockstar that her power expires this week and she's not using it because it's unfair and blahblahblah. She's being very adamant about it ending this week and her not using it and it's over and done with.

Is she going to play next week as her being in the dark that it's getting used no matter what? I don't really understand what she gains from insisting that the power has expired and she has no desire to even think about it.

Well she is telling the truth from her point of view.  The power does indeed expire for her.  She loses total control of it after Thursday.  I think that is a smart way to phase it since people know she has a power.  You don't volunteer to the other side the Part B as in that the power -- minus Sam's ability to use it -- will activate by itself next week if she doesn't use it this week. That would be an insanely bad thing to tell the opposition.  So good on Sam for not giving away the store.

Rockstar: "JC has a power."

Kaitlyn: "Yeah, Rockstar and I found out last night. He slipped."
*gasps from Bayleigh*
Kaitlyn: "He said it was five weeks, which I don't believe. It has to end before jury."

LOL

When this "leaks" Tyler is going to be in power app heaven, hah.  The other side will give up on who has that second power app now.

Now it seems that Scottie and Rockstar believe that Kaitlyn got the 2nd power?

Rockstar just now:  "Tricky, tricky, tricky."  She's moved on from her nasally, drawn out, "Oooooh." to "Tricky, tricky, tricky."  More things to add to the list of phrases that need to be banned from BB.

Kaitlyn is swearing to Haleigh that she does not have a power.

Winston is 28. People have some theories that he's a loner that may not have had many friends due to his job, so that's why he latched onto Brett like a lovesick boyfriend....or a puppy. I can't remember the exact theory, but I think some info came from a former classmate of his.

One day last week Winston and Kaycee were talking and Winston mentioned how he didn't have any friends while he was working at his last job. It really helped explain his behavior with Brett.

Of course Fessy doesn't. He thinks JC is super close to him so he would tell him if he did. He happens to be right about JC not having a power, but I'm sure his reasoning is that and he's so wrong lol.

The interesting part of that convo to me is that Winston said Tyler was really close to everyone in the alliance and that he had influence over the alliance. I imagined Tyler really hated hearing that.

Nay.  Production has the gear rigged so that it is impossible to get injured.  No need to rescue anyone.  Besides I find this funny.  But then I watch The Amazing Race and this climbing set-up is kindergarten level stuff compared to the things they do there.  I still laugh at Season 3's Flo dangling over the cliff in Portugal going all hysterical.

I guess Rockstar didn't think it necessary to take Haleigh's advice about making sure they don't all hang up in the HOH room with Scottie.  It sure hasn't stopped her from spending a crap ton of her time holed up in the HOH room with him.  She seems to really have latched on to him.

Kaycee was... whatever you call it when you're on the ground and fiddling with the safety rope thing? So it's not like Rockstar was alone and Haleigh was coaching her on where to put her hands and her feet before she finally just jumped down fifteen minutes after being stuck up there.

I'm worried about what this means for the wall comp. Rockstar might be too scared to fall off and she might just hold on to the bitter end.

ETA: I'm fairly certain that the rule is one HG on the climbing wall at a time when they do get to use it, so that's probably why someone else couldn't zip up there and help her down.

I wonder if Sam will volunteer to go on the block next week to use her power on herself. It would be dumb since it's only "a chance" to come back, but she talked so much about it not being fair to the HOH, idk how else to take that.

If she does that, then honestly, she can just fail the challenge and stay gone. I hate players who do this kind of thing. Don't fucking volunteer yourself to possibly go home, idiots!

Meanwhile, Bayleigh sticks her foot in her mouth with saying that there's always a "man" and "woman" in a gay relationship and JC had to tell Bayleigh that that is false. Oh, and she got offended by JC educating her.

Yea, JC can be really smart and also funny. It's too bad he was such a pervert early on. At least he's stopped with that though. He also has a high opinion of his game and thinks he's running things, but that can be funny.

Apparently Brett mentioned That's So Raven in his veto speech with regards to Kaitlyn, which is absolutely hilarious. But now I'm even more sure his speech will get cut to pieces when it airs.

Well, it started with Rachel/Angela and kept spiraling.

I'll be honest; I am going to be disappointed if this doesn't hit TMZ. This season has to be the season of TMZ articles! C'mon! Let's make it article #4!

But seriously, I hope Bayleigh actually learned something from JC and doesn't say anything like it again.

I want to hear Rockstar's take on this because ew, he's white* but he's gay and she's woke.

Something tells me that RS is one of those folks who will find a way to explain why something her friend said is okay to say.

It's basically just a variation of a standard BB theme. "The other side. They're bad people. We're good people, though, as why else would be on our side?"

I must say, though, that I'm glad that this season at least has two sides. These moronic recent seasons where there was one large group that just picked off the other group until things were close enough that sides could start up again really got to me.

It's just not logical to NOT form into two similarly-sized groups when you're competing in a large group like this. There should be some floaters, to be sure, but in general, alliances are GOOD and super big alliances are stupid. The votes should never be 11-0 at this point, ya know?

Bayleigh, for instance, logically should be safe for weeks because her main partner is gone. But in the recent moronic way of playing, she would probably be in danger because "We got her partner out, now we have to get her out." Like last year with Cody and Jess.

It was most definitely a panic attack. I finally watched the clip, and Angie was definitely not doing so great with the heights. I feel bad for her more, now that I've watched it. She was clearly shaken by it.

Which is why Kaitlyn can take her supposed "life coaching" and shove it right up her ass. Her stupid "you getting stuck on the rock wall actually means that you're stuck in life" bullshit is not helpful when you try to coach someone right after, and it sounds condescending.

And then five minutes later, Rockstar was talking about how she's going to do it again next time! But maybe a different way up and down! And Kaitlyn thought that it represented something in her past that Rockstar was afraid to let go of!

I felt bad for her at first. But then I started laughing hysterically at them.

I feel like Angie is someone who wanted to try to conquer her fear there. Plus, I totally get it. When you do something like that for the first time, you might get a bit terrified but then minutes later, you want to do it again. It might be easier for her the next time.

I think I'm more irritated with Kaitlyn because I feel like she had to make it about herself. I wouldn't be surprised if, at some point tonight, she brags about how much she helped Rockstar with the rock climbing incident.

Honestly, the whole wall incident probably would have been over a lot sooner if everyone hadn't been shouting instructions to her at the same time. Once it was just Haleigh calmly pointing out where to put her hands and how to shift her weight, Rockstar did better before the "I can't I can't I can't" and ear splitting scream as she finally let go and floated back to the ground.

And holy shit, the audio is horrible on the feeds right now. And you can't even crank it up because JC sings every five minutes and Fish are twice as loud as the feeds when the audio is good. But no problem with the mics near the foosball table, because God forbid we should miss every hit on the plastic ball.

The ants are a tradition in the BB house. Even the cleanest HGs haven't been able to stop the annual invasion. This house is actually somewhat neat compared to past years.

There’s so many people and such little space and you’re stuck there. I would want it to be as clean as possible so I could actually relax and enjoy the little space that I have.

Yeah, I agree. Sure, it would have been easier for one person to shout instructions, but everyone came together to support Angie, who was clearly not having a good time. One of my favourite parts of BB is when the house comes together during a crisis.

Yeah but there's a thing as "too many cooks in the kitchen". It probably amped up her anxiety that much more to have Kaycee shouting for her to drop and counting her down at the same time that Brett is telling her where to put her foot and and and... Like I said, it went a lot smoother when it was just Haleigh (and some background Bro blather) pointing out those same things to her. Be encouraging but realize that you could be hurting the situation more than helping.
