The Crazed Spruce November 1, 2016 Share November 1, 2016 Quote Michael Smyth lands in the New World on an HBC ship and is ordered by Lord Benton to the frontier in search of fur trader Declan Harp. Link to comment

The Crazed Spruce November 12, 2016 Share November 12, 2016 Jason Momoa shows off his axe-throwing skills at a local bar during filming. :) Link to comment
whydoievencare November 20, 2016 Share November 20, 2016 Who was it who had their throat cut at the end of the episode? It was so dark (on my TV anyway) that I couldn't identify who that was. Link to comment
Cigale November 29, 2016 Share November 29, 2016 Kitchi, the young boy who was earlier kidnapped by Cedric Brown. Link to comment
Primetimer January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 It's a show about the Canadian fur trade in the 1700s. We know what you're thinking: 'What's the catch? It sounds almost too compelling!' View the full article Link to comment
dusang January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 (edited) HOW DID I NOT HEAR ABOUT THIS??? I am Canadian. I have eyes that can see Jason Momoa. I'm angry at the world for not bringing this directly to my attention last November. Edited January 19, 2017 by dusang Link to comment

I've been wondering where my Canadian History Epic About The Hudson Bay Company has been for YEARS Link to comment
EAG46 January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 Damn Lisa Bonet is a lucky woman. First Lenny Kravitz, now Jason. Though considering that Bill Cosby torpedoed her career, karma made it up to her. :) Now time to bite the Netflix bullet. Link to comment
Constantinople January 20, 2017 Share January 20, 2017 Is this the Canadian version of the Centennial? Link to comment

snowwhyte May 15, 2017 Share May 15, 2017 I couldn't tell any of what was happening in the night shots. It was very frustrating. Link to comment
The Crazed Spruce October 18, 2017 Share October 18, 2017 Quote With a bounty on Harp's head, Fort James fills up with bounty hunters; Emberly and Chesterfield conspire against Benton; Michael and Sokanon struggle to keep the Black Wolf in business. Link to comment
snowwhyte November 15, 2017 Share November 15, 2017 I like the idea of this show but there's a bit too much gritty realism for my taste. Did we really need multiple scenes of men peeing, that vomiting scene and creepy guy licking blood off of a razor? Link to comment

blackwing December 10, 2018 Share December 10, 2018 Anyone watch this? I saw that a third season was released and I hadn't even realised there was a second season. I found the first season to be dreadfully slow. I liked Jason Momoa's character but I couldn't care less about the young kids. Did the second season improve? Link to comment
NoWillToResist December 12, 2018 Share December 12, 2018 (edited) I didn't realize this hadn't aired yet in the States. Guess it's because it's filmed in Canada? Awkward because I can't recall exactly how far into S2 I am now and so I really have to be careful with what I say. :) In general, I will say that S2 has been annoying me for various reasons yet I still feel compelled to watch it. Grace has landed on my last nerve and seems determined to stay there. I will have to confirm where exactly I am in the season before commenting more specifically since I don't want to spoil details if I'm in the wrong episode... Update: dammit. I only have one episode left to watch in season 2. Guess I'll have to wait until those ep threads are started/opened to vent. :D Edited December 13, 2018 by NoWillToResist Link to comment

I thought we were seeing it here only via Netflix. Seasons 2 and 3 are both available Stateside on Netflix so I would think they are fair game for anyone who wanted to discuss. Link to comment
