Woohoo! So glad there's a forum for this show now. Someone on Twitter was saying they weren't sure if it was scripted and fake, and a guy commented that he will be on an upcoming episode and it is 100% authentic.

I liked the first episode more than the second but I think that was due to my disdain for both parties in the 2nd ep. All in all its a cool concept and for now, I'm in!

Yay....finally a place to discuss this shit show.....I have been dying to talk about it since I watched first episode, by accident I might add!

I was literally like what the f did I just watch and who in their ever loving mind would ever agree to do this and be taped???. Those 2 in first episode were such wrecks!. He only proposed cuz he figured then he could bang her, and she just wanted to tell him she could do better. Her histrionics were ridiculous...I couldn't believe she got into same bed as him and then he tried to get her to give him a hj. Then i realized, she wanted him to so she could tell him no!. And then he pouts like a 5 year old. How could he have possibly thought she would accept his proposal the next morning?. And then he just up and left!. wtf

And stop saying you are a virgin just because his penis never went in your vagina....she admitted she did everything else, including anal....honey, you ain't a virgin!

Thank you for recapping the end of ep 1, because I couldn't watch the whole wretched thing.

YW....i rewound the last few minutes cuz I thought I missed something cuz it just like...ended.  He makes her breakfast, she sits down and starts eating, he breaks out with the jar of sunflower seeds with the ring, and proproses.. She was like wtf?. Didnt really say much othee than why do you wanna marry me? He gets up, brings coffee cup to sink, walks to door where his suitcase already was, and just walks out....not a word. She was sitting there like wtf? The end.  I personally think she was disappointed that she couldnt tell him again how much better she could do.

btw....she looked waaaaaay better when she woke up with no makeup.. And....i was fixated in the beginning on her size-too-big shoes and that she could not walk in heels.  Anyone else notice?

And....i paid waaaaay too much attention to this wreck of a show and am now going to corner and hanging my head in shame.......

I think she told him no after she asked him, "What happened to it?"  It was one of the weirdest situations I've seen on tv lately.  What did happen to it?!  She pulled her hand back, looked under the covers, and then asked what happened.  Wtf?  Then he pouted and wouldn't talk to her.  The whole thing was so odd.

Just watched the virgin episode. That dude is a douche. So you want to get back together with the girl, who's still a virgin, who you cheated on, and you attempt to impress her re: your awesome listening skills by complaining about her plate scraping, and later try to force her to give you a HJ when by some miracle she actually agreed to share a bed with you? And your charming dialogue about "putting stuff in there" (or whatever)? Wow, I'm so impressed. I'm shocked she didn't accept the proposal!

...Kidding! Run, Minnesotan Emma Stone! Run!

I love the dialogue from the subsequent  episode: "I'm SUNNY, DOOD!" "More like cloudy." I don't think I can make it through the episode though...

We missed the first episode and saw the second (with Sunny). It wasn't really that interesting. Here's the recap, if you want it.

Spoiler

Basically, they met as teenagers while clubbing. She ended up getting her dream job, which required her to travel a lot. (I think she was a writer, but I forget exactly what she wrote.) He ended up cheating on her with her best friend (and this is where the whole exchange you quoted happens). They argue a while about it and then she invites him to be in an open relationship with her and her girlfriend. He has to think about it and so sleeps on the couch. She slept in the bed and was a little upset and surprised when he wouldn't sleep in the bed with her. If I recall correctly, he makes breakfast for her the next morning and decides he can't accept her proposed arrangement because he doesn't want to share her.

I thought Fabian or whatever the fuck his name was had serial killer vibes.  I couldn't believe he had the gall to ask her if she was still a virgin.  And the relief when he found out she still was.  It had "I want to be her first" written all over it.  His reaction to her plate scraping was beyond pyschotic.  Unless this was a thing she did constantly in their relationship and knew it was annoying, his reaction was so angry that I would've wanted to be escorted by security out the door.

Sunny...a little too try hard to be wild.  How do you get a dream writing job when you are interviewed saying, "Matt and I's relationship..."  And the  purpose of her ex being on this show is to essentially  to confess to a relationship with her best friend?  What a guy!

Yeah, we didn't understand why he would bother to confess that. Then he was all surprised when she was pissed off about it. Well ... duh! She's still got feelings for you and then you drop that bomb on her. Talk about a damned derp! I even said to the TV, "What did you expect? There's even a whole song about exactly that! 'Policy of Truth'" - although I expect he's too young to be aware of awesome music from the 1980's.

And of course, the best thing about this to me was Sunny acting like she's some tough bad ass chick who doesn't take any guff from anyone and then suggests they have an open relationship.  So basically,  she'll do anything to get this guy back in her world.

Makes you feel old, doesn't it? If so, that's ok. I'm feeling it, too. :)

For the life of me, I can't figure out why Shivonne pretended to drink. Also why wouldn't you just tell Rob rather than go through this nonsense.

I also can't figure out why two grown adults can't use protection to protect against surprise pregnancies. I mean, great that they seem to be happy about it bugs me that people don't think things through before a child may enter this earth.  I mean, she's now uprooting her life to be with a guy who cheated on her in the past.

SASHA206 you watch Southern Charm. You know that adults can't be expected to use protection even if they are 50 something multimillionaire former South Carolina state Treasurers.

Shivonne is 30. I kind of feel like at 30 it's less an accident and more a semi-calculated risk. Although I have a really dumb friend (she's smart overall, but dumb in relationships) who got married because she was pregnant. Two months before she was married she miscarried and married the dude anyway. She chalked it up to being young and dumb. She was 30 about to turn 31. We were like you were certainly one of those two things and 30 isn't young.

Such a serial killer.  She wasn't great, but he was so much worse.  At the beginning of the episode I thought I'd dislike the "too hot" virgin, but then serial killer opened his mouth and it got worse every single time he talked.

This is just in case anyone else had the same nagging feeling, but Sunny from ep. 2 has been on another reality show previously.

She seemed vaguely familiar so I did a little googling and realized that what I remembered her from was Virtually In Love that was on Oxygen last year. She was in the 7th episode with a guy she had been seeing online (Jake), not the same guy who was her ex on this show (Matt).

And now I am off to see if there is a support group for people who watch too much crap reality tv.

Episode 3 Rob and Shivonne -- I need subtitles for these two...

And I thought they were speaking English.  I could understand them just fine, but then again I watch most reality tv shows with closed captioning.

This one, with the two men, was the best so far, or close to it. I liked both of them, they loved each other and were happy to see one another. They were both obviously intelligent, truly sensitive men who had been in love and still thought highly of their old love. It was refreshing. They were fun and entertaining and were not cruel. One couldn't meet the needs of the other, the other got jealous and looked at his boyfriend's phone (been there), and they broke up. No huge drama, just lots of love and honesty. Best part? Eating hot cheetos or popcorn or whatever with chopsticks, so their hands wouldn't turn orange. I'm going to try this at home!

Alexa was objectively immature. She's not yet wired for an adult relationship. Her refusal to talk to Tyler when there is a conflict is only going to end in disaster. Even when she found out that he wasn't cheating, her response was to blame him for not texting. Tyler would do well to be rid of her. She doesn't that she has to be patient and put an effort into communicating with Tyler.
