Tara Ariano June 30, 2017 Share June 30, 2017 Quote Divorce looms when Nels and his dog storm away from Harriet and the mercantile after the Olesons quarrel over the price of eggs. But the situation only gets more muddled when the townsfolk try to help them reconcile, prompting Harriet to pack her bags and causing some to wonder, a little wistfully, if Walnut Grove wouldn't be more peaceful if the volatile woman left town for good. Blergh July 1, 2017 Share July 1, 2017 Yes, Walnut Grove might have been more peaceful without Harriet but it sure would have been BORING without her! She hadn't yet become the crazy clown of the latter seasons but I liked that the episode showed that somehow underneath it all, the Olesons actually DID have affection for each other! 2 Link to comment

penguinnj July 4, 2017 Share July 4, 2017 I am lowkey in love with this podcast!! The memories have been wonderful and I am currently reading my 8 year old Little House in the Bog Woods- which was always my favorite. I remember childhood me being more outraged that Harriet never let Nells have a dog than any of the other shit she pulled. Link to comment

Picture It. Sicily July 6, 2017 Share July 6, 2017 How did I miss the fact that Laura and Willie were in real life brother and sister?Snap out of it, OoogleEyes! Don't feel too bad. My mom only figured it out a few years ago when she read Allison Arngrim's book. I figured it out when she told me. Never even occurred to either one of us. Link to comment
wanton87 October 31, 2018 Share October 31, 2018 With all the grief that Harriet caused Caroline every time that she tried to engage in a simple transaction such as receiving payment for eggs, I would have more expected Caroline to slam the bowl of eggs down on Harriet’s head, with the parting words of “Here you go bitch, the eggs are on me, or rather you, today” :D 1 Link to comment
