Canada June 11, 2017 Share June 11, 2017 Well, that was a steaming pile of something unpleasant. Not a big surprise that it was so bad. Every season, I come back thinking that it will be better. Nope. Somehow they managed to make it worse. Link to comment

That's just weird though -- wasn't Ophelia headed for New Mexico where her fiancé was located, but everyone else tried crossing back in the US near southern California. Why would OPhelia take the long way through Cali ? That one roadside sign Ophelia encountered with signs indicating Mexicali go left, and USA go right put her somewhere to the east of Mexicali -- and she headed east along Hwy 8 to the USA . Even more confusing -- earlier in that same episode with Ophelia she has a map that basically shows her finger pointed near the border around Nogales, Mexico, which is even further east than Mexicali. 1 Link to comment

While I hesitate to defend the show, the ambush at the border was done by a group out on a long distance supply run, so the ranch is probably in New Mexico. Link to comment

California does seem like a long way to go to get supplies from New Mexico -- especially since they left the fuel truck behind. Have they already cleaned out Arizona after such a short period of time ? Or did they just skip it entirely ? Especially since on FTWD we are only a couple of months into the Apocalypse (as opposed to the mother ship that is several years into the same thing). 1 Link to comment

william0102 June 11, 2017 Share June 11, 2017 I thought Ofelia's almost fiance was in Arizona? It really doesn't seem like they went too far off if the compound and the army depot are close to California/Arizona's border. 1 Link to comment
Raven1707 June 12, 2017 Share June 12, 2017 (edited) The Cable Live +3 Ratings are in for "Eye of the Beholder" and "The New Frontier": The third-season premiere of “Fear the Walking Dead” is No. 1 in the Live +3 ratings for the week of May 29, but its numbers are way down from where it began Season 2. The AMC show’s premiere rose by 0.7 points in adults 18-49 with three days of DVR and on-demand viewing to finish with a 1.9 rating. (A second episode also rose by 0.7 to 1.7.) That’s down a heavy 55 percent from the 4.2in Live +3 for the Season 2 premiere last year. It’s also off by 47 percent in viewers (4.66 million vs. 8.83 million last year). If there’s an upside, it’s that “Fear” made up a little bit of an even bigger decline from the same-day ratings. The night-of airing fell 61 percent from Season 2 (1.2 vs. 3.1). http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/dvr-ratings/cable-live-3-ratings-for-may-29-june-4-2017/ Here are the Live + Same Day and Live +3 ratings for the first two episodes of Season 3: 06-04-17 “Eye of the Beholder” 3.109 million; 4.656 million 06-04-17 “The New Frontier” 2.698 million; 4.180 million Edited June 12, 2017 by Raven1707 Link to comment
slf June 14, 2017 Share June 14, 2017 I appreciate that the last thing Travis did before he fell out of the helicopter was roll his eyes. Me too, dude. 1 Link to comment
Raven1707 June 16, 2017 Share June 16, 2017 The Cable Live +7 Ratings are in for "Eye of the Beholder" and "The New Frontier": “Fear the Walking Dead” had the biggest gains in both adults 18-49 and viewers. It’s still far below where it was last season, however, with the premiere’s 2.1 rating less than half of the Season 2 premiere’s 4.5. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/dvr-ratings/cable-live-7-ratings-for-may-29-june-4-2017/ And here are the Live + Same Day; Live +3; and Live +7 ratings for the first two episodes of Season 3: 06-04-17 “Eye of the Beholder” 3.109 million; 4.656 million; 5.076 million 06-04-17 “New Frontier” 2.698 million; 4.180 million; 4.628 million Link to comment
LadyArcadia June 22, 2017 Share June 22, 2017 I couldn't even watch the end. I turned it off with about 20min left. Maybe I'll watch it. Maybe not. What I got from it was: Travis got shot in the neck and somehow mysteriously developed a large open stomach wound. Except he didn't get shot in the neck, he was shot from below....even though his intestines were hanging out and it looked like he was bitten. What the hell just happened?! The helicopter brother looked like he was shot when the first shot hit. His head snapped weird and he looked like he died. Except a moment later he was talking. What was that about?? Madison doesn't even care that Travis just survived a zombie pit, her Nick is back. No hug, no nothing. Yuck. Speaking of... in the first few seasons of TWD, people were offed by one single zombie. Travis can fight off a large hoard with only a metal pipe. Really? REALLY?! Nick likes to feel up his mom and his mom encourages it. I was waiting for a kiss. That was some weird chemistry. A random sociopath teenager from a ranch flew to the border and took command of a military base and his sister-in-law knows how to fly helicopters. What. The. Fuck? They killed the wrong parent. This show is so bad. It isn't even a good bad. 1 Link to comment
