I'm sure somebody (probably Kara) would stand up to make an impassioned speech about how, "She may not be born in America but she believes in what America stands for - and that's good enough for me!" ["And me!" "Me too!"] In the same way heroes can break any law if they're doing it "For a good reason" (usually the villain has kidnapped their girlfriend) - because that's the way laws work, right? Not that particular law. It's written into our Constitution as a prerequisite for holding the office of President. 1 Link to comment
tofutan May 6, 2017 Share May 6, 2017 This is probably THE storyline I'm most excited about. If the president gets found out and impeached, what happens to the alien amnesty act? If it gets taken back, that would at the very least affect Mon-El and Lyra, plus probably a lot of people who Kara worked to save in Exodus. I hope they actually deal with that rather than handwaving it aside. Link to comment
roctavia June 7, 2017 Share June 7, 2017 Okay... so I haven't finished this episode since I'm binge watching now that this season is on Netflix... but this crossover crap is ridiculous. I'm fine with having cross overs, but I don't want to watch the stupid flash... but when you have important things happen to the characters ON A DIFFERENT SHOW it's really not cool. Somehow Kara went from heartbroken and done with Mon el to being thrilled he was trying to make her breakfast in bed.... That should not happen... are they going to include the flash episode on the DVD box set? How come my Netflix didn't automatically take me to the Flash episode so I could see what I missed??? Grrr. Sorry I'm just really annoyed.. I want to watch my show not some other show. The other flash crossover didn't impact the supergirl world much last time, but this was ridiculous. 1 Link to comment

I believe that they did indeed include the crossover episodes in the boxed sets last year. I am going to guess that they'll do it again this year, but that's just a guess. Link to comment

I don't actually plan on buying the DVDs for this particular show, at least not at this point in time. I enjoy watching it, but it's not the obsession other shows have been. I ended up watching the flash episode, at least it was available on Netflix too... despite the pain of having to go hunt it down... and it was a nice enough episode (though I still have no interest in watching the flash). It's more the principle of the thing that bothers me. Having significant plot developments take place on a completely different show is just irritating. I don't dislike the relationship between Kara and Mon-El, so I'm glad they worked things out for now... though I would have been okay with him being gone for a little while if he had left with his parents (throwing in the it's a 4 year trip does make that more difficult of an option) to have him find a way back or something... but I guess this works too. Hopefully it means Teri Hatcher sticks around for awhile :) I do love all of the call backs to Lois and Clark they throw in. Link to comment

I know they did it to Legends of Tomorrow as well; I'm not sure about the Flash. But if you weren't otherwise planning to, I'd urge you to watch at least the Legends portion of the crossover (also on Netflix); Kara does quite well in it. (The Arrow episode largely just leveraged the invasion to do their 100th episode celebration.) Link to comment
