I wondered if Jenna's cash and prizes were shown when she sat down in her dress. Obviously she was not following Kelli's fashions do's and don't speech.

My bad on the Heathers. Between the and Tess and Bess I don't know how they keep them straight. 

Also, while Jenna may not have picked a preferred attire, do we really need to go so far as to calling her a whore? Reaching far and wide here...

I think these were all the vets that got them last year? As in, girls who were already vets last year (not current vets, ie Madeline)  For some reason I was thinking Allie got one but maybe not.

Heather and Ally (top knot ponytail) are there, don't see Raylee. Could have just been out of town or just didn't make it to the class

Very happy for Heather O & KaShara that they got Barbies this year! Allie did get a Barbie last year, but she was a rookie so not in the picture above with the vets.

I'm not that sad for Holly--she'll shake it off. I'm a fan of her dancing but am a little put off sometimes by her thirst & think it's not a bad thing not to get every award all the time because that's a reminder not to rest on your laurels and to keep working hard. (Upthread I've stated my opinion that she's thirstier than Jenna, which was underscored for me by all the professional pictures she has taken of herself that she posts--but really, I like both ladies because they are awesome performers). I do see Holly as a second leader this year, and hope KaShara is named one too. 

I hope we get to see who else appears on the walls of the Star studio & DCC rooms. I know there's a smaller picture of Megan up, since she posted it. I love the pic of Erica, smile lines and all. 

As for training with vets to get a head start on training camp, I think a number of TCCs do. Many of them take prep classes and private lessons with former DCCs like Michelle K and (gulp) Sara G-I. That's not that different from working with current vets. But it's my impression that vets work one on one with rookie candidates as part of their duties as vets--think Ashton with hot mess Taylor, Lauren with Simone & Courtney, Brittany E with Makenzie, Megan C with Heather O & Kelsey etc. I'm sure they do that when cameras aren't rolling too. It's part of how you make a great team--through putting in extra practice hours and teamwork.

I dont think and didn't say Jenna is a whore. Her dress does look to me like something an expensive escort would wear.

The studio looks great! I love these high quality large images and think they look less cluttered than the old studio. I'll kind of miss seeing Schram, Katy Marie and Nicole's faces on the back wall in the background this season though. As for the Barbies, it might be my screen but do the brunette Barbies look like they are brown, as in very tan or non-white? The possibility tickles me a bit.

Re Jenna's dress: you know if that little cut/arrow/whatever you wanna call it was on her thigh I don't think it would bother me but my first thought was I could almost see her cash and prizes, it just does not seem like an appropriate dress as I'm sure they were supposed to be dressed for a business meeting. Looking at it again I wonder if the back is cut the same as the front.

Season 4 was the year they had the girls seated by the judges votes. Michelle Keys, Amy Reese, Justine Philips, and Melissa Kellerman were the lowest ranked veterans.

Season 3 the returning vets were called into the locker room by Kelli and Judy and were told to get their acts together. Erica Jenkins, Kandi Harris and two more girls who I cannot remember were the lowest ranked veterans.

 Figured it was Keyra by process of elimination.   We knew it wasn't Joi, we knew it wasn't monyca, 

She is stunning! Very reminiscent of Jasmine. I hope she makes it to the squad!  Thanks for sharing

Eh, I'd cut her some slack. Madeline is Mormon so just being sleeveless is scandalous. She does DCC style when necessary, but it's still a part of who she is, which is a very young lady interviewing for a job. She has to walk (wiggle) on a very fine line, lol.

Maybe this needs to be in Unpopular Opinions, but what is the point of giving out Barbies to the best dancers if there are 10 of them? The more you hand out the less value it has. 

Plus... Barbies?!   Seriously? From that first season with the marketing tie in I thought it was silly. Sure, keep the tie in because DCC Barbies are money makers, but find a more credible way to reward the ones you think knocked it out of the park at finals. Tickets to a concert, extra days off, gift certificates or donations in their name somewhere. Heck I don't know, maybe help the ones who are struggling financially to pay a months rent or give them a gas card.   Something that says we appreciate your efforts in addition to a hunk of plastic probably made in China that collects dust and eventually gets shoved in a closet.

Maybe Maddie and Lacey are the most businessy? Erica has a plain black sheath. I think Robin may be wearing shantung with a more tea length, but it does look like a long sequin get up in that pic. You can't really tell with the rest of them, but this is a far cry from the suits and pearls they used to wear.

This. I just rewatched season 6. Angela showed up at panel interviews wearing a long sleeved blouse buttoned up and a skirt of a respectable length. She looked like someone dressed professionally for a job interview while the others were dressed like they were going clubbing. That scene still makes me laugh. Guess she didn't realize you were supposed to show skin at the interview.

Don't get me wrong, Brianna looks stunning. For some reason I don't see her being, as Kelli and Judy would say "Fun to watch" on the sidelines. From what I've seen she looks great at contemporary style. But Idk... I think it might be in most of the pictures she doesn't really smile super big.... kind of a half mysterious smirk (still pretty) just not a bright, entertaining smile like Jennifer had. (I think I'm still in denial she left...) 

But she got a Barbie, I doubt they would cut her so I guess she was good at the style or they wouldn't have picked her. Maybe she turns it up when dancing!

Isn't a Barbie just representative of a bad ass solo?  Or is the Barbie meant to represent a girl completely killed it for the entirety of finals?  For some reason I thought it was just for solos. If I'm right, theoretically, a girl could kill her solo dead and then bomb on the field.

Pro Dance Cheer has pics from DMD's 1st prep class. Raylee and (I'm pretty sure) HeatherH are there. Don't think Allie is, but their website is really slow so I quit after about 12 pics.
