yeswedo January 22, 2017 Share January 22, 2017 Harvey, Louis and Donna plan for a future without Jessica; Mike adjusts to life as an ex-convict; Rachel considers her options. Link to comment
love2lovebadtv January 23, 2017 Share January 23, 2017 Very intrigued by the "Rachel considers her options" part of this. She annoyed me to no end last season. Is her father going to be joining/taking over the firm? Or was there a merger of some sort? I wonder if Mike learned anything from his stint in prision. I also wonder if Megan Markle's romantic life will lead to an increase in viewership. I wonder if people will want to check out the show just out of curiosity about her. 1 Link to comment

FormerMod-a1 January 26, 2017 Share January 26, 2017 Well... I just watched a bunch of miserable people being miserable. Oh joy. I hope it picks up. 7 Link to comment
bros402 January 26, 2017 Share January 26, 2017 Mike would be a horrible teacher. He is definitely the kind of guy who would go "Well, I remember everything and that is how I learned it, so why don't you guys do it that way?" Since he never had to LEARN how to do it, just apply things he remembered 2 Link to comment
ItCouldBeWorse January 26, 2017 Share January 26, 2017 (edited) Oh, Mike and Harvey: stop worrying about the Ethics Committee. Mike 1) hasn't graduated from college 2) hasn't graduated from law school 3) hasn't taken the bar exam under his own name, which you can't do in NY without attending law school: http://www.nybarexam.org/eligible/eligibility.htm 4) is a convicted felon (who can no longer vote) and would probably have trouble getting a job in the fast food industry AND 5) is a felon convicted of practicing law without a license! How would having the attorney who prosecuted you testify that you pled guilty to said crime when you could have been acquitted (despite your years of misleading people) help you before the Ethics Committee? How would the word of a Harvard Ethics professor whose class you pretended to have taken helped? Why would said professor defend your "right" to practice law before the Ethics Committee despite your efforts to avoid ethical behavior? I never thought that the show would move forward by attempting to have Mike actually become a lawyer. On 1/25/2017 at 11:13 PM, aquarian1 said: Well... nitrofishblue January 26, 2017 Share January 26, 2017 UGH, what a mess this was. All they did was scream at each other . Harvey making all sad because Jessica and Mike are gone. Hey, put on your big boy pants and move on!!!!! I hope it gets better. 2 Link to comment
CaptainCranky January 27, 2017 Share January 27, 2017 Mediocre episode but to be honest, still better than the tripe we've had to watch the last couple of years. One final thought. Mike is an asshole. 4 Link to comment
TeapotWakeen January 27, 2017 Share January 27, 2017 the ONLY upside to this episode was an increase in Gretchen's role. And I'm kind of reaching here, because 1) her loyalty to Lewis is not deserved yet, and 2) she's not Jessica. I love me some bad-ass women (including Donna) but bad-ass for those who aren't worthy? diluted bad-ass. 3 Link to comment

movingtargetgal January 29, 2017 Share January 29, 2017 I know Megan Markle is a real person and an actress playing a role. However, every time I saw "Rachel" on my tv screen I just kept thinking "This bland piece of wood is the woman who stole the heart of Europe's most eligible bachelor?". I am so shallow. 1 3 Link to comment

All I kept thinking was, "Oh, whisper talking! That's what royalty likes. Good to find out where I've been going wrong." As far as the content of the show...during the last part when Harvey was screaming at Louis, I felt so tired. I was just, like...I'm so, so, SO tired of watching these people scream at each other. *sigh* Edited January 30, 2017 by auntiemel 2 Link to comment
tessaray January 31, 2017 Share January 31, 2017 I hadn't planned on watching without Jessica but I was curious. It wasn't quite as bad as I expected but many more episodes like this one and I'm really out for good. The best thing about this episode? Not having to suffer through any more panicky variations on how they have to get Mike out of prison. 1 Link to comment

Show has been back on for almost a month and I just got around to watching this episode. I am thinking of checking out the threads for the next few episodes and see if it gets better. If the comments are "too much yelling" "Why do they care so much about Mike becoming a lawyer?" "Mike is a jerk" "How does this firm survive when they never actually do anything for their clients?" then I am out. 1 Link to comment

She might be delightful and he might be a dud. Link to comment
