Loved all the 90s Halloween costumes! The group Spice Girls costumes were di rigeur back then. Louis as vampire Pete Sampras was hilarious. Loved that Trent brought a chair to throw for his Bobby Knight costume.

And of course Jessica thinks Halloween is stupid. Why spend money on costumes just to get cheap candy when you could spend less to buy the candy yourself?

90s Halloween! Spice Girls! I was a Spice Girl when I was in elementary school! Wanted to be Sporty, bu I was assigned to be Posh because I looked more like her. It was my first time in heels! Plus Bobby Knight complete with chair!

That was a really funny episode. I loved all of Louise's attempts at scaring Jessica, especially his "scary story" about the shovel girl, as Jessica keeps poking holes in his story. Then, when Jessica became Jessicat, and she dramatically murmured "I am a Cat" when she put her ears on, I laughed out loud.

Just a really fun Halloween episode, just the kind I like this time of year!

Loved this, from the very beginning with the wolf howl clock alarm to the end where Jessica reads her book to the boys and Louis.

All the costumes were great. Pete Vampras, Elvira (or Joan Jett), Grimace (or a California Raisin), the Spice Girls, every one Emery and Evan had on. I noticed that as Dr Alan Grant, Emery took off his sunglasses just like Sam Neill did in the movie.

Eddie and his friends had great costumes. I had to look up Larry Johnson and find his commercial. Loved Brian's Marvin the Martian costume.

I'm so happy Eddie helped Nicole with her party, even if it wasn't as he'd planned. I'm glad they're just friends now.

Piña ghouladas. Hee.

Jessica: You're lucky I wasn't clutching my sleep knife.

Emory: I'll return Mom's going-out purse.

Louis: You've been invited to a 'Weener!
Eddie: Whaaaaa?

I cackled at Evan dressed as Ito, nose pinch and all.  Hell, the costumes were great (and dated me at the same time.)

Or wait till day after and buy it half off!

I will not lie: November 1st, December 26th, February 15th and the day after Easter I should not be near any store that sells candy.  I will buy it all.

Not to mention a convenient place to sit at parties, I might have to rethink my costume for a party I am going to on Saturday.

All the costumes were so on point.  Pete Vampras was my favorite, but I loved all of them.  I also enjoyed the running gag of Louis being super excited about everyone's costume but completely wrong as to what they were.

I'm glad Eddie stayed to help Nicole with her party and that they've gotten to place where it's just about friendship.

All of Jessica's Stephen King lines were great, and her reading her 60-page (no cuts) first chapter to Louis and the boys was fantastic.

What was it that Louis thought Emory was (dressed as Dr Alan Grant)?

I hate to ask, but what lines? (I haven't read any King books.)

Oh, sorry.  I didn't mean lines from Stephen King books (I've only read "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption," so I wouldn't recognize any, either.)  I just meant the lines where she was waxing solemnly about Stephen King's process - learning from his "mistakes"/improving on his method and channeling him to create her own "masterpiece."
