Freeform to Bring "Project Runway" Back

Quote

Freeform is bringing Project Runway back for its 21st season in 2025. The hit fashion reality competition show will return with a new host and judges in the new year. The host and judge will be announced at a later time.

Freeform’s Project Runway will premiere in 2025 and will be billed as Project Runway Season 21. An exact premiere date will be announced at a later time. The season will consist of 10 episodes. The show is produced Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz from Alfred Street Industries.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this. Glad it will be back, yes, but on Freeform? I dunno.

New host and judges? Not so sure. Freeform is still around?

I love this show and am so disappointed Bravo didn’t renew it.

I am, too. I guess why they didn't comes down to money, but PR brought a bit of class to them so it really is their loss.

No problem for me with dumping Elaine and Brandon, but PR without Nina Garcia?? I don't really like her, but it will be weird not having her on the show.

New producers always want to leave their own stamp on a show, which usually results in unnecessary/unpopular changes. I'm not confident.

I would love, love, love for Elaine to be gone.

I was surprised to find her writing an advice column (I think it's the Washington Post) and she's about as banal as she is on the show.

On the bright side, it has Disney money behind it but let's see what the new prizes are.

It had felt bloated with a lot of filler challenges for a while, so perhaps streamlining the competition down and eliminating a lot of obvious cannon fodder is a positive move.

I can't get it to post but Nick Verreos on his X feed has a poster and an announcement about Runway being back.
