yeswedo July 24, 2016 Share July 24, 2016 Mike tries to remain safe without breaking Danbury's unwritten rules. Jessica and Harvey try to land a whale. Louis searches for an office tenant. Rachel faces a fellow student. Link to comment
lorbeer July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 Kind of bored with Mike in prison. On the other hand Rachel for once wasn't a pussy. I wish I knew what she had on that girl. And I like this guy Luis hired. :) I didn't understand who is he and all those other poeple, though. Anyone help? ;d Dialouges are a little flat. They seem more and more unnatural - anybody else has the same feeling? Link to comment
chitowngirl July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 Luis didn't hire him, he's renting office space. They do market trading. 1 Link to comment
catrice2 July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 Seriously, do they auction off the clothing worn on this show? Or list the styles per episode? I fast forwarded through most of the scenes except GT's clothing. Not sure what happened. The one scene I watched made me shake my head. As soon as Neil Mcdonough said "no one can know I told you," you just know that will become an issue. Link to comment
CaptainCranky July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 OK so I DVR the show and haven't watched it but this show has fallen by the wayside with fans as before there might be 1 or 2 pages of comments and now mine makes 4. Link to comment
Tarasme July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 Ugh Ugh Ugh. Retreading the evil hedge fund villain. Ugh. But hey! There's David Hewlett! Kewl! I guess Per Se is a nice restaurant? So now Mike has to decide between hanging the guy that literally saved him from harm- if not his life- or rotting in his cell for the current duration of his sentence? Yes, this season is definitely full of mirth. I'm still flummoxed that Louis cannot be written to either be a bumbling boob or be a master of strategy and law. I don't believe anyone is capable of both; there may be a wide variation of boobs on the master scale or masters on the boob scale but I don't think the vacillation between one extreme to the other is believable. And I know how to suspend my disbelief- Hell- I watched a season of Zoo. Donna can shut up and sit down anytime now. Nice to see Neal McDonough again, as always. Harvey needs to take a vacation. 1 Link to comment

Dowel Jones July 29, 2016 Share July 29, 2016 So Gallo is a fed informant; I'm guessing they are investigating the corruption at the prison. Is this the same one Dion got out of? Anyway, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for him to be acting the thug during his sentence. Someone along the line may turn him in in some way outside of the normal chain of command, or even kill him (there's always someone badder than you in prison), and the feds are out their inside guy. And why don't the feds offer Kevin a sweet deal to testify in the case? Why put Mike up to get what could be tainted evidence. Link to comment
milner July 29, 2016 Share July 29, 2016 They certainly seem to have upped the amount of swearing this season. And when was Donna named Queen? The show has become so humourless and consists of one major crisis on the heels of another. It is exhausting to watch. Link to comment

They should just have whoever writes the decent Louis be the writer dedicated to Louis scenes. Louis, in his best episodes, is portrayed as an excellent lawyer who netted the firm a whole lot of money, with some eccentricities - like mudding Also, i'd like if they had like 3 episodes that took place over, let's say, 6 months, where it is just Louis, Jessica, Donna, and Rachel rebuilding the firm. They'll have Harvey appear in each episode over Skype, taking a nice vacation or journey to learn about himself, or whatever and Mike will be serving his time in prison. At the end of these three episodes, Harvey is due to come back and Mike is due to be released. The four sit down in a room together and go, "Goddamn shit, Harvey goddamn Specter and his goddamn pet Mike Ross are coming back tomorrow. And look at how well we did while they were gone!" I had to try to capture the Suits dialogue. 2 Link to comment
stuckin60s July 29, 2016 Share July 29, 2016 I have always liked the guy who plays Mikes cellmate, but with whats going on, there is more to him than they are showing Link to comment
RHJunkie July 29, 2016 Share July 29, 2016 I hope this season picks up because I'm not as excited about what's going on. I get that prison is tough but I'm tired of Mike whining to Harvey that his prison experience is ruined by some guy with a vendetta against Harvey. Perspective Mike. You wouldn't be in prison if you didn't play along with the charade of being a lawyer. You wouldn't be in prison if you didn't panic and cop a deal instead of waiting for the jury to find you Not Guilty. You wouldn't be so worried about this guy if you didn't stupidly use his phone on the very first night you met the guy in prison. Mike was made to be a successful fake lawyer and he couldn't smell the fake BS? Maybe this new storyline will make Rachel not annoying. 2 Link to comment
marcee July 29, 2016 Share July 29, 2016 (edited) I'm still confused about what's going to happen when Mike gets out...because hopefully they can't keep him in prison forever. Everyone now knows he's a fraud. He's not a lawyer, he likely can't become a lawyer, so...what then? The best parts of the show were when Mike used his brains and abilities to get himself (and others) out of sticky situations. In these first couple of episodes he was able to use that skill exactly once, and only barely: citing some statute Gallo's lawyers apparently missed. And even that seemed flimsy and lame. At the very least, let him have some memorized knowledge of prison systems or get a glance at blueprints of the prison he can use to find a hiding spot when he needs one, or know where cameras are or maybe a list of guards he can cross reference with something he read in a case file one time to use as blackmail or SOMETHING... JEEZ! Edited July 29, 2016 by marcee 3 Link to comment
CaptainCranky July 29, 2016 Share July 29, 2016 I really can't make up my mind on Season 6 after the first three shows. Donna is no longer cute but she's still smoking hot. Glad I don't have to deal with Mike and Rachel together. Jessica is one good looking women, still dresses better than anyone on TV and is one tough lady. I like Harvey so far this season but he needs to get laid. Louis is bi-polar. Give Gretchen more air time. The prison story lines are old already. 1 Link to comment

We'll get more angst and probably an awkward Donna plot. Let's have Gretchen and Donna go to law school and get a degree in like half a season because well, that's how this show works - then it is just Louis, Rachel, Jessica, Gretchn, and Donna: Attorneys at Law Then Harvey and Mike go become lawyers on an island somewhere. tessaray July 31, 2016 Share July 31, 2016 I took a couple of years off so sorry if this is a dumb questions, but are we supposed to know Nathan Burns and Harvey's history with him? They seemed very cagey in the dialog, and the actors played it like they are estranged brothers or something. ItCouldBeWorse July 31, 2016 Share July 31, 2016 "Practical Ethics" is really called "Professional Responsibility" and isn't a law school elective, but rather a required course. No one takes it for fun or profit, and you don't get to drop it because you are volunteering with the Innocence Project. None of that makes sense. Now Rachel is a full time law student (you can't attend Columbia Law School part-time), a part-time paralegal, and in her copious spare time, will be working on the Innocence Project. It is a logical way for the show to afford her the opportunity to work on a case without being a full-fledged lawyer. 1 Link to comment

Though I have a feeling law school tells you the exact courses to take each semester with no flexibility Link to comment

It looks like they're just using their "history" as a set up for someone else to Big Bad all over the place and screw the firm over just when we think they're out of the woods. 1 Link to comment
