Here's another one and it's pretty wild because these two bands are contemporaries, they've played together at many concerts, and they were both heavily influenced to start their bands by seeing The Stone Roses.  Manchester  Massive!

Slide Away - The Verve

Slide Away - Oasis

Adding to "I Need You":

Alicia Keys
Foreigner
Lynyrd Skynyrd
LeAnn Rimes
Trisha Yearwood

With so many, I thought we must have done it already, but couldn't pull up a specific memory, and, looking it up, we'd only listed two (LeAnn Rimes and Steve Perry, but that's a cover of the Beatles song).  There might be as many more still as have been listed.

Salt Water - Julian Lennon

Salt Water - Maria Isabel

(The second one I'd never heard until Kelly Clarkson sang it on her talk show; I saw the title listed on the TV guide and thought, "That's probably not going to be the Julian Lennon song from when I was in high school.")

Special - Vesta Williams

Special - Lizzo

"Landslide" by Stevie Nicks and performed by Fleetwood Mac in 1975.

"Landslide" by Dixie Chicks in 2002

Both are great in their own way and show how different artists can put their own unique spin on a song with the same title.

I wanted to add that one then hesitated because it wasn't exact.

I've seen other "almost but not quite" posts here, so I figured what the hell 😆

That's a cover of the same song; this game is about songs with different lyrics that have the same title.  (But there's a thread about covers, and I agree - The Chicks have one of the good ones in this case.)

"Yesterday" by The Beatles and "Yesterday" by Toni Braxton. The Beatles' "Yesterday" is a classic ballad about lost love and nostalgia, while Toni Braxton's "Yesterday" is a soulful R&B track about a broken relationship.

This reminded me of a headline I read recently, that John Lennon left NOTHING to Julian Lennon in his will.  What a prick.  Paul (the cute one) was my favorite Beatle when I was young, then it switched to John when I realized almost all my favorite Beatles songs were his.  But the more I read about John, the more I realize what a horrible, petty person he really was.

OMG I'm seeing them live in June at the Greek in Los Angeles.  I can hardly wait.  I fecking love Shirley Manson; still so sexy.  The supporting band is Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and Oasis (and the Rolling Stones) are my all-time favorite bands.  For me, this will really be a night to remember.  Sorry to brag!!!

I know there are quite others with the same song title. I had the Queen one stuck in my head and while listening to it on YT the INXS one popped up on the right side as a recommendation.

Don't Lose Your Head - Queen

Don't Lose Your Head - INXS

Cripe, I've never heard of most of the artists being mentioned here, but I have heard of these two:

Easy Money - Billy Joel (1983)

His last name is pronounced joe-ELL in the UK.

Easy Money - Johnny Marr, the god-like guitar genius from The Smiths (2014)

I f--king love Johnny Marr and Morrissey and The Smiths.  They both went solo long ago.
