AimingforYoko June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Doesn't look like we're getting a happy ending here. Link to comment
econ07 June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 So almost everyone's life is in peril ... I'm not going to be happy. Link to comment
HowdyTV June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Nope. Looks like we are on a death watch for Harold, and that the others, we'll find out how they died. Will The Machine be the only one standing at the end? Sniff. Link to comment
FormerMod-a1 June 22, 2016 Author Share June 22, 2016 I'm hoping for a simulation. Sigh. But also prepping myself for the worst. Link to comment
FormerMod-a1 June 22, 2016 Author Share June 22, 2016 Damn, shit's getting real for Reese and Fusco real fast. Link to comment
mtlchick June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Suddenly I have Desmond from Lost's "You're gonna die, brother" in my head and I HATE IT. Link to comment
Trillium June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Yeah so my local CBS is having technical difficulties. The hubs and I are convinced it's the Machine, because we don't want this to be over!!!! 3 Link to comment
AimingforYoko June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Nice bluff, Harold. I thought the "thermonuclear device" was overkill but it got the job done. 1 Link to comment
HowdyTV June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Whatever happens, they must destroy Samaritan. I don't think I could handle it if they don't! Link to comment
mtlchick June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Dammit, can't remove the spoiler tag. "Try not to die" "Yeah I love you too." D'awwww. Meanwhile, I'm slowly putting down my Fitbit and backing away from it. 3 Link to comment
HowdyTV June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 What thug throws away a gun to fight hand to hand? Link to comment
AimingforYoko June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 "Midas Touch." With a dry, cool wit like that John could be an action hero. 3 Link to comment
mtlchick June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Damn allergies acting up when Finch was saying goodbye to Reese. 1 Link to comment
econ07 June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 But to leave him in the vault to get caught ... that ain't cool either. Link to comment
janeta June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 (edited) Howdy--thug was out of ammo too, i believe. How did John know about the roof? Finch/TM were on a handset.. Edited June 22, 2016 by janeta 1 Link to comment
HowdyTV June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 John and the Machine at the same time? Not nice. Link to comment
mtlchick June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 SON OF A BITCH. I had expected for him to go but...GAH. (Good thing the guy knows something about coming back from the dead.) Link to comment
NYer June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Castle ended less melodramatically and darkly than this. Link to comment
AimingforYoko June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Yeah, that was coming from the first ep of the season. Still hard to watch. Link to comment

AimingforYoko June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Wow, that actually was pretty close to a happy ending. RIP Reese. 2 Link to comment
NYer June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Or not, AimingforYoko. Castle may have been less-dark, but it had been worse-edited. A wash, perhaps? Link to comment
FormerMod-a1 June 22, 2016 Author Share June 22, 2016 Really?!? John's the only one that dies in the finale?!? That's not a blood bath, and that's not fair. John and Harold are my two favorites. Yes, his death has been telegraphed, but I don't know. Link to comment
DeepRunner June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Just Reese died. Harold made it. Shaw made it. Lionel made it. Wow. Link to comment
HowdyTV June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 (edited) Yea!! The Machine lives! Shaw and Fusco lives! Bear lives! Finch is with his love! Not bad at all. Samaritan 0. Loved Shaw getting the guy at the end. I can't believe I'm happy about AI making it through! Edited June 22, 2016 by HowdyTV 3 Link to comment
janeta June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 That could have been way worse. Anyone remember what John said about liking the new, terrifying, side of Finch? :) So TM is living in the bird overhead. I do wish they had edited the music volumes better--again, hard to hear the dialogue sometimes. 1 Link to comment
kaygeeret June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Wow, must say I laughed - thank you Fusco - I cried - thank you everyone else (tears at Fusco getting hit tho') and then... It actually felt a bit hopeful and uplifting at the end. Damn, just a master class on what good writing, good acting and good production can do. Thank you POI! 3 Link to comment

TigerLynx June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Reese died the way I expected him to. It was interesting both Reese and Finch wanted to live up to what they believed their father’s expectations were for them. I didn’t like Finch’s ending. I wanted Fusco to get custody of Bear. I’m glad Shaw killed that guy. I wish the machine had been Nathan’s voice. I did not like having Amy Acker talking through the entire episode. I did not like Shaw having the last scene. PaperTree June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 I wanted Shaw to shoot him in the balls first, but, well, it's network TV. 4 Link to comment
Robin the Hoodie June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 I believe there is the possibility of a spin off which is why we had the three people help them in DC a couple of weeks ago. Shaw with Bear in the last scene seems to imply that she will be part of that or some other team. 1 Link to comment
