Yeah, not surprised Caleb is the one that ended up dead.

(I'm extra cynical tonight, so that part of me thinks: is there anyone associated with this case that stays alive? Geez.)

Here's cynical for you:  how did Ryan and Esposito figure out something was wrong when they believed Castle and Beckett were split up most of the season?

I think Caleb said he was going to continue on as normal, so that he didn't tip of LokSat that he gave the phone to Beckett. I don't think he could run.

One can only imagine that they didn't get told the truth, but got told "oh, j/k ... we're fine" and ... went from there?

So, no concern for Ryan and Espo when Castle/Beckett were concerned that LockSat could come after their families? But we had to squeeze Hayley and even Vikram into the "family"

To be fair, as long as Ryan and Espo don't know about LokSat there's a chance they'd be fine. I mean, I'd still be concerned (especially about Jenny and the kids) but I'm a worrier.

Nice to see that Castle and Beckett have worked out their issues and always keep their promises these days...

And, they will lie to the end...seriously, what are the odds that HIS CAB was the one who Castle flagged down?

The cab was probably waiting outside the PI office for him to come out. I saw the same thing in a Lifetime movie where rapists pretended to be Uber drives to pick women to drug and rape.

It's bad when you start comparing things to Lifetime movies.

I don't like the always-high-stakes finales. They're just ... trying too hard to be something Castle never was. So far I think Hollander's Woods was a better series finale (but my ultimate Castle season finale is season 2).

I might be on board with a cutesy, end wrap up scene, but ... eh.

I'm bored. And I don't care about Loksat.

Yep. I'm wondering how it would have felt to get a series finale similar to the earlier episodes I fell in love with. COTW and Caskett interactions.

I wonder when the writers decided on the identity of Loksat.

Maybe ABC canceled because they saw this and just couldn't go on with what the showrunners were trying to sell.  And, I guess that Castle wasn't going to relocate his PI agency to work with Gerald McRaney...

Wait ... Mason Wood is LokSat? The guy we were just introduced to ... or even heard of for the first time ... in one episode that aired 10 episodes ago?

... what a letdown. This guy was supposed to be epic. And it turns out that it's the guy that I literally had to google a half an hour ago to remember who he was?

Although, some of Nathan's best acting this season was when he had to tell Mason Wood who knew about LokSat, so there's that.

Has Castle been tied to the table the whole time?  I will say it looks like NF has lost weight.

Not the whole episode. And also, yes. Dude's lost quite a bit of weight.

It takes a nurse three tries to find a vein for an IV on me, but these two amateurs can do it without any problem??  I guess I need Castle as a nurse the next time I go to the hospital.

True. I thought that interrogation scene was well played by Nathan. It and the goodbye to Martha and Alexis have been the only two scenes that have landed for me in this episode thus far.

I find it a little too on the nose that Mason Wood ended up being LokSat when Beckett doubted him all along. I shouldn't be annoyed because she's always been the skeptical one, but I kind of am.
