merriebreeze April 2, 2016 Share April 2, 2016 Hanna showed up drunk at a fundraiser in my hometown. The cause is good. They just need a better spokesperson. 4 Link to comment
RedheadZombie April 2, 2016 Share April 2, 2016 I had the biggest crush on Jack Hanna when I was little. His speaking style doesn't bother me, probably because I'm an extremely fast talker myself. I didn't realize it until I moved from Chicago to Atlanta. I can't tell you how many times I've had patients just stare at me when I get going. Slow talkers drive me mad. The polar bear cub reminds me of a documentary in the 90's about Cubs Klondike and Snow, who were rejected by their mother. They're born blind and deaf, but they screamed and cried almost constantly. They were much more high maintenance than human newborns, and the staff actually took them home at night. They didn't know exactly what to feed them and they actually developed ricketts at one point. They closely bonded to one guy, and they were soothed by suckling the web between his thumb and pointer finger. He let them do this until they were bigger than him. They bottle fed them until they were as big as their caretakers, and one of them violently slapped the bottle out of a keeper's hand. They had to transfer them elsewhere, but they remained bonded to the one guy who would visit them. I'm sad because I just googled and found out they were separated, and have already died. I like Michelle. I find her amusing and I like her self-deprecating humor. It's refreshing when compared to Candice, Paula, and Whoopi who take themselves far too seriously. And I have no problem that she talks of being Jewish. We have two sitting at the table who are incapable of starting a sentence without, "As a Chrisitan - ". I don't enjoy Raven, and I don't like how petulant she becomes when she doesn't like how the others respond to what she says. BUT, I have noticed that most, if not all, of the panel is very dismissive and condescending to her. She says some pretty stupid stuff, but she hasn't yet reached the stupidity levels of Whoopi or Candice, IMO. 7 Link to comment

Re:polar bear babies, I have heard that Animals in the wild will reject animals that are disabled...It is truly the norm for them...There was a time Human animals used to do the same thing, due to ignorance and superstition... I like Michelle as well. If she were to limit her jokes, and not derail the conversation..She would be perfect. I liker her perspective on things..I like her heart..I think the show made a mistake by playing musical chairs with the hosts. They should have let the ones that they hired for this season create chemistry with each other..I think the movie stah is the problem with her need to control and pontificate all of the time...You can tell that the other hosts are at times uncomfortable around her...She needs to go yesterday.. Morgalisa April 2, 2016 Share April 2, 2016 They really seem to go out of their way to accommodate CCB. When she expressed her displeasure at the usage of the word "bitch" they said they wouldn't use it when referring to her, then the bell kind of disappeared (or they stopped ringing it), and now it is back and they ring it. But no "you're right bitch." For the record, I thought it was/is stupid. I think it was Raven's bright idea (or Whoopi). 1 Link to comment

maggiemae April 3, 2016 Share April 3, 2016 Thankfully that fluff for choosing the color of this little girl is over, and she will continue doing whatever she wants with her hair. Rather than get informed. 2 Link to comment
Medicine Crow April 3, 2016 Share April 3, 2016 I find it very funny when The Whoopster is mentioned as a sex symbol because my mind hops back to the many times she mentioned her poor oral hygiene. Those guys must have been really "tolerant" (or just desperate & she was "there")!! Just sayin'. 5 Link to comment
