So do I. Root and killing off Carter is why I quit the show. I loved the first two seasons. It was really one of the best shows I'd ever seen. I loved the relationship between Reese and Finch. I loved Carter and Finch. And Bear.

Yup, I quit watching too when they killed off Carter. And then Cavezial (sp?) went all… you know.

There are some shows/movies that I thought were hilarious in the 90s when I was in my teens but now that I am older just isn’t  funny anymore.   Absolutely Fabulous probably fits into that category.  I feel the same way  about Married With Childrenz.  I still kinda enjoy the Steve Rhodes seasons but then the show gets way too mean for me

I'll go one further.  Being only aware of the plot from some things I'd read about the show, I'd have let them kill Ellie at the end of the first season and cut open her brain to find out why she is immune to the fungus or virus or whatever it is.

Dawn Summers deserved better from both the writers and the fans. I definitely noticed that with AbFab, especially after realizing I was closer to the grandmother's age than Eddie and Patsy. 😲

I thought she was annoying as hell and distracted from the slaying too much, thus my hate for the character.  Not the actress, just the character.

There was always this push/pull between Buffy being the slayer and her wanting a normal life and I think Dawn fit into the part if her that would absolutely give up slaying to be normal.   Then again that kind of character that represents normalcy is easy to hate.  It’s the Skylar White effect.    That person in your life of crime/Slaying/party life who wants you to come home to help the kids with their homework

I don't interpret Dawn as representing normal life at all.
