ElectricBoogaloo January 28, 2016 Share January 28, 2016 Chip takes a new clown at the rodeo under his wing. Link to comment
Fisher King January 29, 2016 Share January 29, 2016 I don't think I've ever considered that there would be clown discrimination in the rodeo business. Clowns piss outside! I loved Martha trying to find ways to make it easier for her boss to fire her. Would it be easier for you if I just went missing? 2 Link to comment
Milburn Stone January 29, 2016 Share January 29, 2016 Martha went from more weird than lovable last week to more lovable than weird this week. I liked it. 3 Link to comment
peeayebee January 29, 2016 Share January 29, 2016 I'm so glad Chip moved in with his mom because MORE LOUIE ANDERSON! BTW, does Louie ad-lib? So much of what he says sounds like it. I love him. 4 Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo January 30, 2016 Author Share January 30, 2016 I love that despite the fact that Chip is a dick to Martha, he immediately offered to buy an executive membership as soon as she said that she could lose her job. I also liked that even though he can be really grumpy, he was sincere about helping the new clown. Ha, the juggalo guy was hilarious. I liked that he was so eager to learn. And I love that he kept his hair while working at Arby's. 2 Link to comment
DiabLOL January 30, 2016 Share January 30, 2016 I know it's awfully early to say this but I SO BADLY want Baskets Mom Louie Anderson to have his own full hour show every week. 5 Link to comment
Laurie4H January 30, 2016 Share January 30, 2016 This show is so bizarre yet very funny. Some great lines. The new clown saying that everyone else could "suck chub" was hilarious. 3 Link to comment

I wonderful if he knew his mom would offer to pay for it. Chip gave a quick little glance at his mother that led me to believe this. Link to comment
Fisher King January 30, 2016 Share January 30, 2016 (edited) Yes, Louie's awesome in this. I love that she loves Martha, and admonishes Chip for denying Martha's his GF just because of one psychotic episode. Of course Chip knew his mom would pay for the Costco plan. Soobs January 30, 2016 Share January 30, 2016 I loved the scene where the mom broke down the bathroom door and said something like, "I have a history with crazy people". I WANT TO KNOW MORE! I was lukewarm about the first episode but liked this one more as it seemed like an ensemble cast rather than just Baskets. Still not sure ZG is strong enough to carry the show. 1 Link to comment
Badlands January 31, 2016 Share January 31, 2016 I'm so glad Chip moved in with his mom because MORE LOUIE ANDERSON! BTW, does Louie ad-lib? So much of what he says sounds like it. I love him. According to this Entertainment Weekly article, he does adlib some of the lines. Also, the Costco, Reagan and Arby's obsessions were his idea. http://www.ew.com/article/2016/01/28/louie-anderson-christine-baskets 4 Link to comment
peeayebee January 31, 2016 Share January 31, 2016 Thanks for that article. I didn't know he based her on his own mother. I saw him do standup way back in the early 80s in Vegas (along with Yakov Smirnoff and someone else I can't remember). I laughed so much during that show. Link to comment
heatherchandler February 1, 2016 Share February 1, 2016 I know it's awfully early to say this but I SO BADLY want Baskets Mom Louie Anderson to have his own full hour show every week. I am loving Louie Anderson! I honestly never really thought I liked him - I never watched his stand-up, thought he was cheezy. I am cracking UP at everything out of his mouth. When he was breaking the bathroom door down and then Chip came from around the corner and scared him, I about died. The look on Louie's face! I rewound that a few times. 2 Link to comment
Guest February 3, 2016 Share February 3, 2016 (edited) "Get me a Kirkland and a Klondike bar." DIED. Just died. The Costco-isms on this show are awesome. (I like Costco -- and I hope they're OK with the characterization that they're ready to fire a decent employee because she hasn't sold an executive membership.) Louie Anderson is a treasure in this role. Even though I know it's him, the character still looks like it's some random lady I'd run into in a suburban grocery store. Still hate clowns but love this show. Just love it. Edited February 3, 2016 by Guest Link to comment
PodcastTown February 4, 2016 Share February 4, 2016 Only 2 episodes in and already my favorite show of 2016. Just every joke hits, Lou Anderson- God I love this guy. Grew up watching his stuff. One of my favorites. Link to comment
Fisher King February 4, 2016 Share February 4, 2016 I just remembered the trivial fact that the opening scene of this episode was shot from the rodeo bull's POV. Link to comment
peeayebee February 4, 2016 Share February 4, 2016 I really liked that. It was the same scene as from the previous ep, but from his POV. 1 Link to comment
03063 February 4, 2016 Share February 4, 2016 Didn't Mrs. Baskets say in episode 1 the new twins were ski racers and episode 2 that they were DJs? Can't wait to find out more about them. Link to comment
JakeyJokes February 5, 2016 Share February 5, 2016 The Juggalo clown turned out to be so cute without make-up. Louie as Mrs. Baskets is phenomomenal. I agree that he has to be ad libbing stuff. I watched it with captioning on and about a third of the dialogue was missing. Penelope is horrible, but she told Chip from the get-go where she stood on everything. Link to comment
