While pursuing a gangbanger, Burgess and Roman come across the body of an eight-year-old boy who was reported missing. Intelligence launches an investigation to find the killer and Antonio and Lindsay question a prime suspect. Meanwhile, Burgess confides in Ruzek about Roman's suspicious behavior and Bunny heads to the Ivory Tower with a statement that could be detrimental to Voight's career.

Can Bunny just die, please? "Mom, you're not bad for me, we're bad for each other." No, no, I'm preeeeeetty sure she's bad for you, Linds. Or just plain BAD.

Jesus, Rogers Park, I was almost expecting a lynch mob by the end of the episode. They sounded like a bad Appalachia stereotype of mountain folk what don't let the lowlanders stick their interferin' noses in their mountain eye-for-an-eye knee-jerk corporal justice! I promise, we're not that creepy in Chicago as a rule.

Not a particularly good outing. The main plot was extremely convoluted and we got once again police violence against a (as it turned out innocent) suspect - I know this unit has a reputation for that but it still grates especially when there are no repercussions.

But even worse was the almost complete lack of continuity from last week. Halstead gets brutally tortured but bounces back right as rain - no physical or psychological scars to be seen. You know even NCIS LA gave its characters after being tortured some breathing space to deal with the trauma. All Halstead got was the order to have Lindsay's back. Last week I defended the show from becoming too Erin-centric. But right here - we're entering classic Dawson territory.

Roman's 'addiction'-plot was ridiculously predictable, Olinsky's brat still grates and Bonnie is about to become a comic-book villain. Also: not enough desk sergeant Platt. At least Mouse looks nice with the new haircut.

I had a problem with Ruzek and Burgess automatically assuming that the syringe was for drugs. Does she not know or trust her partner enough to think maybe he us sick, diabetic or something?

Loved Markie Post on "Night Court", she is doing a good job making Bunny so unlikable. She can go away now.

I think the odds are good that Bunny's time is short now. Voight won't just bust her with drugs, she'll meet an untimely demise. Maybe she'll just disappear.

I remember Markie Post from Night Court and many other shows back in the day. Kinda weird to think that she and I are the same age now.

The plot in this episode had me so confuzed. Why was the first kid murdered?

I'm starting to get very strong Burgess/Roman vibes and I think it's possible the writers are pushing it a little. The way he said he was a match for everyone makes me think we'll eventually get a love triangle.

Olinsky and his daughter.... meh. Is he not worried about his wife and other daughter finding out?

Bunny = pure evil.

Does she not know there's already one active drug addiction taking place within her immediate circle? Honestly, you would think characters would watch their own show...
