I'd much prefer they do the reunion after the season...live and not taped.

JAY it would put abut 25 people out of work, between the hairstylists, the make up people the wardrobe people, the snack runners, the leg lotion people, the shoe cam operator. I understand they can't go live because they all talk over each other but film it two weeks out not six weeks out.  Why bother to have viewer questions if the viewers haven't seen half the season?

Seriously, call a cab for your hookup. From.the clip it seems like because Bethenney had left her bedroom door was open to the Jack and Jill bathroom, at the very least wake Heather and Carole up so they can latch the door and know what is inside. Though there should be at least one more bedroom so it's just Ramona not caring that other people exist.

Seating placement for the reunion today was Bethenny, Carole, Heather and Kristen on Andy's right with Ramona, Luann, Dorinda the Sonja on Andy's left.  In that order with Bethenny and Ramona next to Andy and Kristen, Sonja on the ends.  Hmmmmm! LOL

Yes, Sonja and the pirate were outside in the garden having sex, not in the house. AND Sonja never denied that is was anal sex.

 

Incidentally, I think the pirate/booty action migrated to the house, because I was just rewatching Slutty Island, and in one of the talking heads Heather mentions hearing noise downstairs, going to investigate and walking in on Sonja and the pirate in one of the spare bedrooms. And then later she told Aviva not to use that room because the sheets hadn't been changed.

 

As far as I'm concerned, that made for some damn compelling TV, so I can't wait for T&C naked gate. Is it wrong that I hope we see who Ramona and Luann bring back to the rooms?

One thing I am confused about is they all bring bags/some luggage to the hotel and and call it their last night but they clearly go back to.the villa for naked gate. Did like and Ramona pick.up people on the beach?

After watching that clip of Bethenny and Carole doing the usual post-trip review over dinner, my new theory is that Luann is pissed at Carole because the Countess wanted/thought that Carole wouldn't spill the beans on her bringing back a dude to the villa.

 

Luann is nothing if not stealth about her hookups, and the other women have basically alluded to as much over the seasons: That she's a randy peen hound when the cameras aren't rolling. (And on Slutty Island, sometimes when the cameras are.) And that she hates hates haaaaates to have that side of herself caught on the show. Carole basically says that Lu was smart enough to send the guy home, so theoretically the cameras wouldn't have caught anything...

 

So my guess is that when Carole tweeted that Luann is "making a big deal about me walking into the room with a camera," what I actually think happened is that Luann found out after the fact that Carole spilled the beans (sounds like Luann's hookup isn't directly addressed in T&C the way Ramona's is), and that's what caused their feud.

 

Perhaps the Countess was expecting the Princess to keep it under wraps, and then when Carole didn't, Lu latched onto the whole "Adam was still dating Nicole" nonsense as a cover for the real reason she's pissed off at Carole. It'd make a helluva lot more sense that Lu is just using the "don't fuck the help/my niece's ex" reason after the fact if she only found out in editing/after they wrapped that Carole was openly discussing Lu's own naked dude. Lu certainly wouldn't want to bring MORE attention to the fact that she brought home a guy. Hell, she still won't admit that she hooked up with the French Depp pirate.

So the early gossip from the reunion is very anti-Heather/Carole/Kristen, and very pro Luann/Bethenny/Ramona.

Of course, this all could be as fictional as Brandi Glanville's twitter feed.  Specifically, I wonder if this very obvious spin is an attempt by the Luann/Ramona camp to control the narrative, once again, in advance of the show airing.  I guess we'll have to wait and see.  But I will say that multiple sources have been on the Heather/Kristen/Carole getting fired story - from NY Post on down.  Which could mean that Luann and Ramona are working the phones, or it could mean that there's truth in there.

 

I wonder why I care at all, really?  Maybe because RHONY has always been the only show that actually featured women I liked - not just like to hate, not just fascinated by, but really liked.  I liked Bethenny in the early seasons, and I've liked Heather (and sort of Carole) in the second iteration.  A show that prefers Ramona, Sonja and Luann - three certifiable nut jobs - over Heather and Carole - eh, it's not a show that I want to watch.  Which I guess is okay.  Refer back to my need to get a life.  

 

They did all go out for dinner together after the show (pics on instagram), which is nice.  Heather has bailed on her blog this week, which is also interesting.  Maybe she's done, herself, either way, and that's why people are claiming that she's getting fired.  Maybe she's already quit.  I would get that.  I wouldn't blame her either.  But I do hope that her friendship with Carole is intact.  That seemed to mean a lot to both of them.

That's interesting but why would Carole have to dump Heather for Bethenny? Hasn't Betheny in real time been saying she likes Heather and they're friendly or whatever. In her blogs, she's been more pro Heather too and taking her side over Luanne and Ramona. Is that gossip consistent with what we're seeing in social media?

I keep seeing that "rumors" say that it doesn't look good for Kristen, Carole or Heather to return.

I don't get this. I understand Kristen, she doesn't bug me but yeah ok.

I don't see Carole leaving unless she chooses to leave, yeah she doesn't contribute much but she is friendly with Andy and now Beth. I know Andy doesn't make all the decisions but I think has some pull.

Heather being fired really confusing me. I know I'm biased, I really enjoy Heather and think she just fabulous. I get some people dislike her, hey that's fine that's how it goes. Not everyone likes the same thing. I think Heather is great on the show and is good reality TV. She is not scared to be herself, and while Beth and Heather might get along now, they will still have differences, but move on and laugh. So I can't see why she wouldn't be asked back.

Like I said, I know some don't like her and think everything she does is wrong but I don't see the hate that some had for say Jill.

Does any of this make sense, lol?

I also like her and hope she is back next season. IMO, they need to thin the cast by removing some of the old guard, like Ramona and/or Sonja and I also would not miss LuAnn. They need a few more married HWs, this season with 6 single/almost single HW's was a bit too much, it needs to be a bit more balanced for a "HW" show IMO. Get  rid of 2 of the single women and add just 1 married HW to the mix. That said, any "reports" of someone getting fired/let go are nothing more than rumor/speculation until all the episodes, including the reunion and lost footage, are seen. I really do believe that Bravo waits until then to asses viewer reaction/feedback before they make any finial decisions on casting.

 

Also, Dorinda should be a one and done.  JMO

I think it depends on why we are seeing so little of Heather this season. I know I keep harping on it, but she hasn't had one single segment all season long. I cannot ever remember that happening before. Are we seeing nothing of her kids or her business because she didn't want to show it, or because it didn't fit the narrative? My thoughts are it didn't fit the narrative because I believe if she didn't want to show this stuff she would have been demoted. If that is the case and they think she has some good stuff, but it just didn't work this season (in large part because Beth's stuff took up the early part of the season), I think they will ask her back. If she was hesitant for whatever reason to highlight these aspects of her life, I think she will be gone. 

 

My personal thoughts are that both Heather and Carole will leave. If everything we have heard is to be believed, their first contracts are for 3 years, which means they are coming to the end of theirs. Heather seems to have gotten very involved in the No Barriers deal, and it looks to be very important to her. I also think that Carole is kind of done with it all. I love her, but it doesn't seem like her heart is in it. I would be very surprised to see one come back without the other.

I agree with this.  The narrative that Ramona is essential to the franchise has always seemed way false to me - even if Bravo and Andy agree with it, I think they're wrong.  RHONY has NEVER been one of the higher rated housewives shows, even though NYC the city - as others have stated - has an endless supply of interesting, dramatic, smart, emotional, dramatic women.  I think as long as the show revolves around Ramona, it's going to be really limited.  I think she, Sonja and Luann are holding the show back.  Personally, I would like to see them retool around Carole/Heather/Bethenny, and find some more younger, savvy, married and unmarried, DIVERSE women to complement them.  Carole and Heather are real women with a real friendship, and now that Bethenny has relaxed a bit - and has a genuine friendship with Carole - I think the three of them would work.

I don't see Carole leaving unless she chooses to leave, yeah she doesn't contribute much but she is friendly with Andy and now Beth. I know Andy doesn't make all the decisions but I think has some pull.

Heather being fired really confusing me. I know I'm biased, I really enjoy Heather and think she just fabulous. I get some people dislike her, hey that's fine that's how it goes. Not everyone likes the same thing. I think Heather is great on the show and is good reality TV. She is not scared to be herself, and while Beth and Heather might get along now, they will still have differences, but move on and laugh. So I can't see why she wouldn't be asked back.

Like I said, I know some don't like her and think everything she does is wrong but I don't see the hate that some had for say Jill.

I think Heather is an easy target because she is not hated like say Brandi, Tamra or Teresa and she doesn't really have an expressive fan base like say a Lisa Vanderpump.  She is married, a mother with a child with severe health problems and is COO of a company she started.   So for the casting Gods she doesn't have enough unrest.  Even in T&C when Bethenny was laying into Ramona and pointed to Heather and said something about her child's health issues Heather seemed to object.  She never uses her child as a obstacle, the way Bethenny uses her divorce (one she wanted). When Heather tried to relate changes and upsets in her family the rest of the cast discounted her  nanny of nine years leaving.  I personally thought it was a huge deal.  That is almost like a third parent after nine years.

 

I also think Heather isn't fake enough.  Once she dislikes someone she dislikes them with the exception of LuAnn she made fun of her, became friendly with her and it seems she now loathes her.  Ramona, Bethenny, Dorinda, Sonja and LuAnn maybe had more reality TV experience but she and Carole and to a lesser degree Kristen seemed to somehow be more real.  heather has had a season of being shut down and I think her voiced is not being heard and screw Bethenny for her comments in the Conch Blocked episode.  Bethenny shuts down everyone with her non stop talking and screaming when she isn't getting her way.

 

The one thing I believe Heather has working against her is she is too quick to tell off camera observations, facts in another RH face.  I look at it this way if I am a RH and I always wear a one piece bathing suit (hopefully not one of the ugly monkinis Sonja and Ramona were sporting) and I mention off camera to some of other RH I do so because there are scars where I had extra nipples removed or a tattoo of an old boyfriend's name removed.  I feel pretty secure that that won't be used against me that I am giving a candid explanation why I don't wear a bikini.  If at a later date I am involved in a conversation about nudity or skimpy bathing suits and mention I only wear one piece bathing suits and keep things covered up-I would consider it a betrayal if Heather said something like -you just don't want anyone to see the scars from where they removed your extra nipples or the scars from where you had your exes name tattooed.  I feel that Heather does this and it is unflattering to her and keeps some of the other RH at bay.

I agree with this.  The narrative that Ramona is essential to the franchise has always seemed way false to me - even if Bravo and Andy agree with it, I think they're wrong.  RHONY has NEVER been one of the higher rated housewives shows, even though NYC the city - as others have stated - has an endless supply of interesting, dramatic, smart, emotional, dramatic women.  I think as long as the show revolves around Ramona, it's going to be really limited.  I think she, Sonja and Luann are holding the show back.  Personally, I would like to see them retool around Carole/Heather/Bethenny, and find some more younger, savvy, married and unmarried, DIVERSE women to complement them.  Carole and Heather are real women with a real friendship, and now that Bethenny has relaxed a bit - and has a genuine friendship with Carole - I think the three of them would work.

What does LuAnn's smoking have to do with F bombs?  LuAnn has asked for seven years that her smoking not be made public.  Their conversation had nothing to do with smoking or partying it had to do with the use of the F bomb.  That is my contention about Heather-she seems to use the whole arsenal instead of just the relevant ones.  For example LuAnn, and it has been made public, does these performances where the jokes and dirty and I guess crass.  That would be far more relevant than Luann smokes and parties and screws around with different men to an F bomb discussion.

 I stand by what I said earlier, both LuAnn and Dorinda told Heather that a good mom doesn't swear around their children and a good daughter does not swear around their mom, as they both seem to know that Heather does both she must therefore be bad as both a mom and daughter. Oh and that she swears, her mom did not do a good job as a mother either. That was their, LuAnn/Dorinda, message to Heather IMO.

 

LuAnn may have brought Ella into the conversation but Dorinda had no problem using her to bash/guilt Heather with either, just as she also tried to use Heathers mom as well.

 

Ramona always seems to be able to slither away! LOL

I wonder sometimes when these rush stories come out if they're not from the folks (or the camp of folks) who probably were put on the ropes a bit during filming of the reunion, and as such, they release these bits as a way to get out ahead of the story. Or they do it to reshape the narrative before anything has gone to air.

Although neither LuAnn or Dorinda said that they heard Heather drop an F bomb around Ella, that was what they alluded to. I think both LuAnn and Dorinda were looking for a fight on camera with someone, anyone and Ramona opened the door with her blaming Heather for her using the F word and they pounced.  Ramona had never used that word before she met Heather because, as we all know, Ramona is as pure as the driven snow (and it appears that Dorinda thinks she is "pure" as well)! LOL gag LOL

 

Oh and we only hear Heather use the F bomb when she is angry/hurt/very upset. I don't remember her just using it in general conversation like Dorinda claimed she did.  JMO
