And if I were someone who loved Dinah the way she does, I wouldn't watch it either. She does occasionally passive-aggressively tweet about how ridiculously easy it is to write for her character that she doesn't understand how people get it wrong - like when BC trended the day the photo of Katie in her costume was released. 1 Link to comment

Morrigan2575 January 16, 2015 Share January 16, 2015 So basically it takes 7 - 8 weeks to do an episode? 3 - 4 to write, two to prep, and another two to shoot.They're shooting 3x16 now, so they would be prepping 3x17 and writing 3x18 and 3x19. Their season is almost done. I'm not sure, let's see using 314 as the basis since there's no holiday https://twitter.com/mguggenheim/status/542739826068291584/photo/1 314 started shooing on 12/10-12/19 314 started prepping on 12/1-12/9 Script takes 3-4 weeks to deliver and is usually delivered on first day of prep. So let's say 11/3 or 11/10 start for writing 314. That looks like 6-7 weeks total depending depending on the script. From MG's comments about mama smoak's return he said that the script hadn't been written yet but if all goes well we should get more answers on Felicity's dad in 318 So 16 starts filming today, 17 is begin prepped, 18 is being written and if they stick to Smallville's format 19 is being broke. Basically anything 19-23 can have major/minor changes made at this point but 16-18 would only allow for some minor changes (scenes getting cut, dialogue re-writes etc). Link to comment

Sometimes it's scene by scene, act by act, sometimes it's just the story beats and plot twists they need to reach, it depends on the show. On Arrow, we know the full writers room breaks the episode together into that outline, and then the assigned writer for that episode will actively write it, adding dialog and minor beats to reach the outlined ones. I think she won one of the scripts that SA auctioned off on eBay for charity, and there was an issue with the shipping (I think it might've somehow gotten lost on its way to her), so Stephen sent her the script for 3x01 as a replacement. Although I thought she'd said several times that the material wasn't hers to release since it's property of Warner Brothers, so she wasn't going to do it. Hopefully this doesn't discourage SA from auctioning off other scripts in the future. Link to comment

Glad it was cut, because it's dark and the way that Felicity's hand changes from clenching Oliver to drawing back suggests that she thought is was real and realised it wasn't as he handed her a syringe. Presumably that's when her right arm moves back, when she realizes it's just for show. Poor Felicity. all her dreams happening, and then to realize it's all a fake.
