It was originally meant to be one volume, and still sometimes published that way. 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/18542-book-news/page/6/#findComment-8548777

You are carried along on the story and they really are over before you know it. I remember thinking a 200 page book I read just dragged, but Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson all 1100 pages flew by. Yeah. A Storm of Swords was long, but I had trouble putting it down long enough to sleep or go to work. A Dance with Dragons, however, ugh. So much of that book dragged that I almost wish GRRM hadn't finished it. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/18542-book-news/page/6/#findComment-8549522
atomic Sunday at 10:29 PM Share Sunday at 10:29 PM Julianne Moore's children's book Freckleface Strawberry has been banned from schools operated by the Defense Department. Apparently the idea of a girl learning to love herself is horrifying these days. https://deadline.com/2025/02/julianne-moore-shock-trump-banned-childrens-book-1236292077/ 6 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/18542-book-news/page/6/#findComment-8582471
Annber03 Sunday at 11:30 PM Share Sunday at 11:30 PM This decision coming from the same sorts of people who whine about "cancel culture". Amazing. 5 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/18542-book-news/page/6/#findComment-8582495
andromeda331 Monday at 08:23 AM Share Monday at 08:23 AM Of course it was. Clearly a girl learning to love herself is somehow offensive or something. It's so stupid. 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/18542-book-news/page/6/#findComment-8583363
ProudMary Wednesday at 02:10 AM Share Wednesday at 02:10 AM I wasn't sure where to put this or if it was being discussed elsewhere, but anyone who downloads purchased Kindle books to their computer for permanent access should know that effective February 26th, Amazon will be removing that option. I watched this video which explains what's happening very well. I read download all my kindle books and read them on the computer. It's much easier for me and easier to read since I can make the screen much bigger then I can on a kindle. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/18542-book-news/page/6/#findComment-8585033
