TheCathedral April 21 Share April 21 Forgettable episode, not terrible but not great, pretty generic plot. Lots of Randy this week, he's really cool and Bobby acted normally this time! It was nice seeing Rigsby from the Mentalist, using his real accent! He was also the bad guy in the last episode of Bosch Legacy so he played two bad guys in the same week! Colter mentioned his family! It's been awhile since they were referenced, I wonder if the writers dropped the family mystery for good. And Colter dropped another body ugh 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8641484
ahrtee April 21 Share April 21 Nothing much to say about this one, and it seems no one else does either. Didn't even make enough of an impression on me to be annoyed at the inconsistencies or idiocies. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8641734
Snazzy Daisy April 21 Share April 21 The only thing that I like from this episode is Owain Yeoman. I hope Billie is NOT Colter’s Megan. 🙄 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8641829
AnimeMania April 22 Author Share April 22 Seems weird that they would need Bobby at all. Randy should have been able to do anything that Bobby did from anywhere. Sonia, the gun just happened to go off and the guy that was about to kill you is dead, I think Sonia should be in a cell next to her husband and his brother. That was really weird and nonsensical. It seemed like they were going to go somewhere with that, because Colter looked suspicious, and then they ... didn't. 6 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8642206
rr2911 April 22 Share April 22 Good episode. I like the dark episodes of Tracker. I'm glad they went in this direction. I'm liking Randy better than Bobby. Maybe Bobby and Thelma (I think that's her name) can go bye bye after this season. Whether or not the kidnapped girl accidentally shot and killed the bad guy, she did what she had to do! I guess Colter helped Randy as favor? I didn't see no money. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8642385
Dowel Jones April 22 Share April 22 Gun dealer: "My wife can shoot circles around me." Me: "Same here. That's why I have to keep moving." 😁 I loved it when they walked into that club and the first thing the manager says is "Oh hell no, get her out of here.!" That's when you know it wasn't quite 'girls night out.' 2 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8642562

That was an odd thing to happen. I don't think Sonia killed him, but gee what a deus ex machina to save her. I thought the general plot was interesting -- kind of like a dramatic 'The Hangover' -- but there was so much that could have been done better. Seems there were a lot of scenes where characters were explaining what happened instead of us seeing it happen. And then Randy escaped from the house. How? There was a main bad guy and then his security. Seems like his escape should have been something for us to see. I didn't think the actress who played Megan was very good. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8642563
surfgirl April 22 Share April 22 At least thus epi wasn't about some deranged, creepy af, culty shit, right? Just your average, garden variety Reno thugs. One thing thst bugs ne with this show right now is how everything gets resolved too quickly, tied.m up with a neat little bow, and zero.anseers about WHY anything happened. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8642808

No, just some psychotic/deranged real estate thug? Who casually murders people (but doesn't bother to kill the witness until he gave her time to have people looking for her in all the security cameras in the city and then take her someplace else so she can get away)? And locks his brother up in a closet because he objected? (And the brother seems a little brain-damaged, too, since he apparently falls in love with anyone who smiles at him and "this time we had a real connection" (or something like that. )) No cult, I guess, just really, really stupid genes. ETA: I guess I did remember more about this ep than I thought. And it did annoy me more than I thought. proserpina65 April 23 Share April 23 I liked this one much better than last week's episode. No, it wasn't great, but it wasn't as dark and brutal, and Randy brought some amusement. Also, I wasn't expecting them trying to follow what little Megan remembered to go quite the way it did. Crumbs, really, but I'll take what I can get. 6 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8643352
emma675 April 23 Share April 23 While I'm glad this episode wasn't more creepy, dark, culty weirdness, it was kind of a mess. Lots of plot holes and just lazy writing. Randy just magically escaped the house full of armed guards? Sonia just happened to fight off an armed guy who somehow shot himself and she was just lying in a field when Colter and Randy showed up? Colter and Sonia both shot folks, but weren't being questioned by police for hours afterwards? So much to hand wave. I do like Randy so I hope he doesn't just disappear now that Bobby is back. And I hope Colter mentioning his sister means we see her and the family mystery again this season. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8643480
mythoughtis April 25 Share April 25 (edited) I thought this episode was awful. Too much Randy, not enough Bobby or Velma. A stupid plot about real estate developers that are mobsters, with a young brother who they just let get married on a whim and then killed a guy in front of the new wife. Add in an abusive ex- boyfriend. Every episode this season just gets worse. At least we didn’t have Reenie’s odd client. They had a working premise in season 1…but they’ve dumped most of it for these nonsensical episodes. Have you noticed that we got one throwaway line In S2E1 about Teddy going to help her mother … and not another word. We know the actress didn’t return … but please allow Velma a chance to say she misses her … or doesn’t. peeayebee April 25 Share April 25 My memory is terrible. I remember the flashback scene of Megan getting roofied, but why did the guy do that? Was it the bad realtor or his brother who married Sonia? Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153084-s02e17-memories/#findComment-8645147
