S22.E17: Killer Instinct

Was it just me or was there some unusually fancy camera work in this episode?

I thought that was pretty good - combining several dangling plotlines. I also wonder if they just started yet another plot that would bring Delilah out of her wheelchair. Speaking of Delilah: I'm so glad she was back to her original personality, competent and cool under pressure.

Also: Michelle Lukes has a mesmerizing voice, I wish she'd do audiobooks. (She did voice acting for Resident Evil and Halo 5.9

Ok episode.  The show needs a shot in the arm.

Maybe NCIS: Sydney needs Kasie's help on a case.  Maybe like the whole year or longer?  Please?

I'm getting tired of the LaRoche (sp) plot.  I hope they rap it up this season!

Nay, ship almost everyone else out to a "NCIS: Cancelled" show and keep Kasie who is one of the last decent characters on this show.

I miss young, innocent McGee.  Older McGee just doesn't work for me.  His whole personality went from wonderfully quirky and creative to generic middle-aged, lost his mojo and interesting uniqueness.  Totally bland now.

I can't understand how it benefits anything for McGee to let Laroche know that he knows about Nocturne and is out to get him. Wouldn't you want Laroche going about his normal business, not being vigilant?

And I was confused about planting the bug at the jeweler. How did Knight know that Torres needed help with a distraction so Gemma would leave the office and he could plant the bug? Seems like something they would have discussed and planned in advance.

I would have thought that somehow word would have gotten out to Gemma that the real Poet was dead...likewise potentially to the Assassin #2 woman.

Since the assassin came in right after the shot, why did Tim have to actually shoot Laroche...why couldn't he have shot near him?

Because it would hurt Laroche big time.  😉  But also, McGee was portraying the part of a  professional hitman, and wanted to keep his cover secure and protect all four of them by not giving the real shooter any reason to doubt his identity.

Quoting myself because we don't usually see McGee genuinely acting alpha, so even though it doesn't make sense to me that he did it, I did like how he stood right up in Laroche's face, and allowed himself to tower over him.
