  1. I didn't realize something until yesterday about the episode that I can't figure out, and it's bugging me. Hetty's regular outfit is not the same one she was wearing when she died. Could someone explain this for me? I missed a few things, based on comments made here, so I'm going to rewatch, but this doesn't strike me as one of those instances. 🤔
  2. Better him than us! 😉
  3. For such a beloved series of this duration, I would like to believe that as well, Trey. There were such significant notices about "Why is Everyone Singing?", that I expect there would be many more announcements if they were ending the series (even though I did get nervous about my (hopefully) mistaken perception of same). I enjoy the inclusion of international events and/or famous people incorporated into MM, but on a small scale, and infrequently. Too large a focus limits the writers' storyline, as they shouldnt stray far from the factual history. In the case of Julia and Susannah being on the Titanic, I wouldn't want to see that either. I could accept if there was a misunderstanding that they were/might have been on board. Yes, they left that hanging, with no mention (that I recall) of how/who would be in charge of it in Julia's absence.
  4. Thanks for sharing the article. I too got a bad feeling from the heading about Ten Episodes; however, not much further in the report, was this bit of info: Admittedly, the more I read, the more confused I got. There was some flip/flopping regarding which season was being discussed, so I'll just chill for now. 😉
  5. Season 17/Episode 24 - For the Greater Good Did anyone else get a sense that they were wrapping up the series? I have felt for the longest time that there's almost no one at Station House 4 other than Murdoch and Higgins (and sometimes George, if we're lucky). Almost all the other regulars are only there once in a while, and the semi-regulars' visits are few and far between. Now that Julia and Susannah have been shipped off to England, I'm getting a nagging feeling that our show is turning out the lights. 🤔 😪
  6. See Carol? This is what happens if you mess with Pete. And this is being kind in my opinion.
  7. I didn't look at the vehicles. I was so distracted by the house looking different. Thank you for the clarification, that was helpful.
  8. 😵‍💫 😵‍💫 That was quite the episode!! I know there are a lot more details to come in Season 3; however, in the meantime, was that the Landry house in 2024 where Jacob and Kat went? It sure looked different to me, and who was the kid who came out and didn't even bat an eye at Jacob?
  9. I thought the episode was was a nice departure from the usual, and was pleased to see that the majority of the cast was involved (missed Effie though). It was fun and I was very impressed with everyone's talent in the musical production. Interesting article about the episode and how it came together: https://www.orilliamatters.com/local-news/murdoch-mysteries-goes-musical-with-help-of-two-stratford-friends-8495805#:~:text=French and Lynd both praised, episodes for the 17th season. I noticed Colin Mochrie's name in the opening credits, so was not surprised when he was unmasked. Ralph Fellowes is a nasty "fellowe" 😉, but I have mixed feelings about his being in the show - I simply love Colin as an entertainer. I am thankful he is not as horrible as James Gillies or some of the other villains from the past.
  10. I have been trying to figure out what was going on when Del went to ask Evelyn Goodwin not to press charges against Elliott and Kat. Evelyn was quite uppity with Del, but when Colton's name came up in the discussion, it seemed like there was a complete turnaround, and Evelyn backed off. Albeit she continued taking shots at Del, but there's some back story there.
  11. Season finale? It's seems like we just got the show back. ☹️ I recall seeing a commercial a few weeks back showing Del, Kat and Alice holding hands while at the pond, appearing that they were all going to jump in. Not sure where Kat's thought process is going with the rattling coins versus chains at the lighthouse, but I'm sure we'll find out. I'm still waiting for Elliott to get "pond fever" and try his luck.
  12. Didn't Sarah (Penny) just find out about Serena, when she overheard the discussion with Josh as they walked by? I thought Penny had't been around for a couple of episodes?
  13. While I was reading the discussions about this episode, I began thinking that perhaps Flower really did get sucked off, and the seance actually summoned her back? However, because Sam, Jay and the ghosts were interrupted mid-contact, Flower was transported into the well, rather than to Woodstone Manor? And she mentioned being stuck in there for a month, which to Flower's thought process, could indicate the month she's been gone, albeit not all of it in the well? This would clear up that Flower actually ascended, and that a ghost actually left. YMMV
  14. I wasn't completely clear in my earlier question (to which Daff very nicely provided an answer - thanks!). It was this question from Kat to Elliot just before Alice starts singing that I wasn't sure about, that maybe I had missed something. My doggo was being a little brat while I was trying to watch the program. 🐶
  15. Anyone know what Kat and Elliott were talking about at the of the episode?
