I remember not being a fan of the Intersection the last time they used it.  I can't imagine I'll like it any better this time.

Has TAR been to Osaka before? I can only remember the trips to Tokyo.

No more staggered starts? Neat.

In a way the fork in the road does have an effect on departure time next leg. The singers were way behind the dancers.

But the 2 first place teams aren't leaving at the same time. Firefighters should feel pissed.

A team that clearly did not discuss ahead of time how they would work together. Probably just as important preparation as the physical stuff.

The time spent on Bernie & Carrigain fighting gives me the creeping feeling that they're toast.  Usually, teams shown fighting a lot, particularly early on, get ousted on the legs they're shown fighting.

I like them both, though, so I hope to be wrong.

I would’ve held off a few legs on the Intersection. This early in the game, it’s first-come/first-serve.

I go to an anime con every year. There’s always one taiko drumming arcade game there.

Glad that we have at least some teams doing Mochi over Mawashi, even though the latter seems easier than the former.

Looks like uneven detours again.  I haven't had mochi, but the local grocery stores sell it.

I really like the Jeff and Pops relationship. They remind me of Rob and Corey. Wish they last long.

The sumo wrestler looks like he's having a good time, pretending to be shoved out of the ring by these puny people.

I love how Jonathan & Ana (well, mainly Jonathan) are so intense about coming in first, while Scott & Lori are chill and laid-back no matter where they place.

I kind of want Scott & Lori to win the leg for that reason.  But Jonathan & Ana are probably farther ahead than they look.
