Shep starts to spiral over his relationship and sends a text message that causes ripples among the group; Craig and Austen's tepid friendship truce starts to unravel; the crew eagerly awaits JT's arrival.

ETA: The crew doesn't eagerly awaits JT's arrival. That was Bravo's description, not mine.

I've been waiting for Paige to drop the bomb on Craig for a long time it was so clear she was not that into him.  He is also a liar and tried to get JT roasted because he wanted to break up his friendships and drive him off.  Craig is a unique kind of crazy, not like the others but just as bad.  Austen on the other hand acts like a 14 year old.  How can grown men be so immature?

Craig's being a good friend. He's sees firsthand how Sienna feels about Shep & is trying protect him from further heartbreak. Austen said similar things about the text & Sienna in his confessional. Plus, Shep keeps asking for their opinions.

JT  hadn't spoken to Taylor in months. He's never even met Gaston. He chose to publicly go after her relationship, shaming Salley in the process, all because he's butthurt that Taylor rebuffed his advances. 

Apples & tomatoes, IMHO.

Finally, Taylor seems way too involved/interested in Shep for someone who claims to be so happy with another guy. She's still pressed.

Sure Austen, you don’t like kicking someone when they’re down. Somehow I bet he was pleased that Paige broke up with Craig.

Shep is so coming off stalkerish. She’s just not that into you. He is dumbfounded and literally can’t understand it.  Damn, I forgot how much of an ass he was towards Madison in the beginning. 

Madison is gorgeous, but I’ve noticed she really doesn’t say ‘thank you’ or is very appreciative to staff at restaurants, hotels, etc. Maybe it was just a couple times, but I think it says a lot about someone when people act like that. 

Craig, how can you be surprised that you’re not Austen’s favorite person after all the arguments you’ve had the past couple weeks.

I will be so disappointed if Venita hooks up with JT.

I thought it was funny, even Venita said use ‘em before you take ‘em out. Madison has always been somewhat crude, but it doesn’t make someone trashy.

Shep is living  in an alternative universe, he can't see that Sienna ignores him, she'd  rather hang out with his friends,  I'm glad Craig  said something. Craig said Shep would spiral, in the previews it looks like he does.

I found Sienna  to be kind of snooty, like she's far  too good for Shep. She's too young, but she's  on a dating app, trolling  for a rich guy imo.

Taylor still likes Shep, maybe  they can just be friends, who knows. That ocean  looked fabulous. 

I like Madisons wardrobe,  that pale pink  number was beautiful.

They say his text was heartfelt.  But if Sienna meant everything to him, why would he put it out on the show?

He may have been on the show for 10 seasons but would he or any of these cast members put their most deeply felt feelings on public display?

Remember that the camera changes the behavior of the people it records.

Shep was laughing every other sentence as he read his text to Austen and then Craig.  He was laughing too after the scuba diving.

If he’s as crushed as they try to portray him, would he put himself on camera or go away and tell them he doesn’t want to be filmed?

All or most  of the scenes he’s shot for the show over the years haven’t been dramatic.  He’s never pretended to love any of the women they’ve shown him with, much less be in love.

So why after all this time is he suppose to be so head over heels?  He’s never shown himself to be vulnerable or emotionally open.  He’s not some naive, inexperienced boy.  And this is a damn realty show, which is known for false narratives.

It’s such an abrupt change from his persona of the previous 9 seasons that it’s just not credible that he’s swooning like a school boy.  Plus she’s not even all that, doesn’t come close to the most attractive women who’ve been on the show and her evasive, cold personality also doesn’t merit him making such a big deal about her.

Seems like they want to sell heartbreak this season.  Craig will have his own country song drama later this season as well.  Bravo may think the show needed their main bros to be way up in their feels because the show became stale?

Taylor saying Shep should date someone his own age is ridiculous since she’s only about 5-6 years older than Sienna and Shep is also way older than her.

Show doesn’t want to have women as old as Shep and Whitney on as love interests for these showmances.

This plays as fake to me. The guy doesn't seem dumb. He has to know he's being blown off. I don't believe he's as crazy as her as he says. I think he's milking this for a storyline. 

Taylor said he should date someone his age. Isn't she also a lot younger?

In the media thread, someone posted the truth.

Whitney and Shep contacted Sienna, not her contacting them, as they claimed on the show.

Basically they scouted her to pursue this fake heartbreak story line.

Probably Bravo told them that they have to come up with some interesting stories or else they wouldn't shoot another season.

So  they pursued  her to make her a fake love interest.  But why?  What's in it for Shep?  Does he really need this show?  Maybe after 9-10 seasons, it's significant money to him, even though he's financially independent from his family wealth.

Craig really needs the show to continue since his side businesses all derive from his exposure on the show.

So he's been harvesting his fake relationship too.  At least they're about to end that charade as well.

It's nice to read occasional comments about Craig that make sense. There's so much (difficult to understand) LOVE for him here and on other boards.  Craig has been a selfish, insecure self-absorbed liar/bad friend since he was first introduced to us.  Paige must have seen potential; she stayed with him longer than most...but she did see improvement (at her hands). How many shows will we have to watch where Craig (metaphorically) pouts and then (metaphorically) stomps off.  Sometimes it's literally.

Didn't  Sienna say this was her grandmother  favorite  show, now she doesn't  know who  Shep is? Odd.

They didn’t necessarily pursue her for a fake relationship. Guys make the first move often, and it seems judging by her personality that she wouldn't run after them.

Producers probably let Shep know that he needs to create some drama, probably encouraged her to make contact with Sienna.

It wouldn't be the first time this show based a whole season on some social media event, like that video of Austen and Madison arguing when she supposedly caught him with two other women.  They played that stupid video over and over again that season.

This season was filmed last Spring.

While Craig had already cut back on partying, it wasn't until December that he shared that he was nearly sober, only having a drink or two every couple of months. 

Shep's the one who declared he was limiting himself to beer/wine at the S9 reunion after his BravoCon antics in late 2023.

Craig looks "puffy", especially his face, and it seems he gained some weight again. He said he drinks a lot less, not that he totally stopped drinking.

ETA: I don't think Shep is such a good actor. He was not faking it. He liked the woman. He wanted it to be filmed because he is on a TV show after all, and because he wanted to prove something (how attractive he is, how desirable he is to young women).

Well the story this season is that Craig is busy with his businesses and is all about domestic life with Paige.

So instead of going out drinking with Austen and Shep he only wants to be in his backyard, skimming that pool.

How is he gaining weight if he's living a more healthy, purposeful life?

Maybe because this narrative was as fake as his relationship, as many of the relationships are on this show?

I about died when he told Austen that he told Sienna that he missed her and that she said, "I missed you too.", and the flashback showed her saying, "I'm sure you did".  He is beyond delusional. 🤣

The way she and Madison were laughing out loud at the table when they were questioning Sienna about her's and Shep's relationship was so disrespectful.  I'm sure Sienna was probably thinking, "What the hell is their problem?"  And who grills someone's new love interest like that after only having met them one other time months before?  It's not like they're Shep's family.  They just did it to be messy.
