Oh Glenn. You warn them that the consequences will be that they lose their tip if they break the rules and then you go back on your word and give them $500 each. Yes, it’s under what they could have made, but it was still giving in. I don’t think they will respect whatever law he tries to lay down from here on out.

Worse, he only docked them $500 each so they received $2,055 of the original $2,555 tip. IMHO, he never should've let them drink anything and should've told the guests that only one or two members of the crew could escort them to the club, the rest were needed on the boat.

Well $500 is something.  Still pretty lame.

Danni is one horny woman.  Chase should take advantage and dump her when the season is over.  It's only a few days.  You don't need that spoiled brat.

Did Glenn take Chase's tip $?  He really wasn't drinking.

Gary is such a jerk.  Nice apology, but he should never be a captain.

Keith, stay away from Daisy!  She's a mess and a half.

Diane is just checked out and whiny.  Shut up and do your job.  You all knew there would be lots of laundry.

Tough job for Cloyce with all these restrictions, and Diane messes it up.

The guests were mostly reasonable.

Is this gluten thing for real?  It wasn't a problem for centuries and now it seems like a big fad.

Yeah Glen ultimately doesn’t decide what the cast gets or whether they stay, like all BD captains.  If the producers want certain cast to stay for the drama, they stay.

Also didn’t Daisy say her being docked was okay because she makes more money?  So they get paid in addition to the tips?

And one of the guests said Gary was cuter in person.  First, eww.  Second, they are now casting groupies or fans of the show as guests?

They’re not even trying to hide the charade any more?  We knew the charters, guests and tips were fake.  Just more and more datapoints.

Now we’re going to get at least a semi feel good finale, cast going out one by one, talking about how they grew during the season.  They will at least try to be civil with each other if not hugging it out.

Lately a lot of these deckies and stews are one and done.  They don’t seem to get re-cast for more seasons as they used to.  Guess there’s a large supply of young “yachties” wanting to get on TV.  So there’s no reason for many of them to worry about burning bridges.  I’d like to see it, though they’d probably get roasted on social media and they won’t get invited to sit down with Andy or to Bravocons.

Oh and the talk that Chase and Danni have about their future, so fake.  Not entirely convinced that they’re banging either.

Yes - for people who have celiac disease.

Quote

Celiac disease is a chronic digestive and immune disorder that damages the small intestine. It's triggered by eating foods that contain gluten, a protein found in wheat, rye, barley, and other grains.

Symptoms

Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Bloating, Fatigue, Headaches, and Itchy skin rash (Dermatitis Herpetiformis).

Causes

Celiac disease is genetic

It's more common in people who are white, have type 1 diabetes, are obese, or have ancestors from Europe

Treatment

The only treatment is to stop eating foods with gluten.

Finally, we get some guests that actually seem to enjoy the boat. At least they appreciated the sailing. Seems like all the other guests this season acted like they were doing the boat a favor by being there.

The food preferences and dietary restrictions are kind of ridiculous. I mean, these broads are pouring alcohol down their gullets like there's no tomorrow, but one of them can't stand to have a cherry tomato on her plate? Whatever.

I wish this show would get the message that nobody cares about Chase and Danni. This isn't The Bachelor. And neither Chase nor Danni are interesting enough to merit this kind of screen time.

They are hard up for cast members. And Davide is no Colin. He really ended up being a non-entity.

Our gluten is different that the gluten in Europe, (there are lots of articles explaining it better than I could), I do not know why all of the people with celiac's seem to wind up on Below Deck, do the producers put the word out on some Celiac's site, lol.  All kidding aside, we have to hand it to any chef that can navigate six individual dietary requirements even if some of it played up for the camera.

Danni and Diana are years away from being a chief stew or even first stew, they are learning resistant and morale killers.

Glenn needs to grow a pair, he should have taken the whole tip, given the others a portion of the drinkers tip then donated the rest to some local charity however we know the tips are fake.

P.S. There were so many people from my sister's wife's family with celiacs who were invited to their wedding (two years ago), that the whole menu was gluten free, still delicious food and nobody who didn't know about the celiac disease had no idea the menu was altered in any way.

IF the tips are fake then there is even less reason to not take all of the tip away from them.

IF the tips are real then Glen has shown that what he says has no bearing on what he does & if this happened in real life, he would no longer have the respect of his crew & a lot less authority because the crew now know that what he says doesn't really matter.

I always feel like all the food allergies is production driven, just like the stupid parties and theme dinners on the preference sheets.

I'm sure the guests are asked about real allergies and dietary restrictions, because the show doesn't want a lawsuit on their hands. But a lot of the preferences are simply that - preferences. Likes and dislikes. And an experienced chef wouldn't have to make eight different things to accommodate eight different preferences. He'd come up with one thing that meets all eight preferences. But, much like the rest of the crew, this show isn't getting experienced, five star chefs anymore. Those are pretty hard to come by, and anyone worth his or her salt wouldn't want to sully their reputation going on a show like this.

Not a chance in hell of any chef coming up with an around the world set of dishes that could accommodate all of their so called pretentious dietary restrictions together in one dish per country or whatever. FFS one of them wouldn't eat ANY raw vegetables or fruit, one only ate Romaine lettuce (I would have just given her a plate of lettuce & nothing else) and that's only 2 of the most ridiculous set of dietary restrictions I've ever seen.

I must have said "how pretentious can you be" at least 10 times watching this bunch of self-centered women. Which is strange because they seemed so normal in every other aspect, they even showed interest in the sailing part.
