I love  Triscuits. And Wheat Thins. When I'm Mom sitting I just sit there and eat Wheat Thins like its my job. There is nothing else to eat at her house. I've starting bringing my own snacks over.

Or you could bake something, take some home and leave the rest for your mom and the visiting nurse.

I love those but my new obsession are Finn Crisps, fairly heathy sourdough crackers that I eat with Tzatziki

I used to eat Ritz crackers when I was at my mom's, looking after her as she declined. Brings back memories!

I haven't had Wheat Thins in forever. I was on a bit of a Club Crackers (with cheddar cheese) kick for a bit after the holidays but I made myself get Triscuits last time instead. At least they're actual wheat and only three ingredients (and a little fiber and protein, 3g each).

Rosemary Triscuits are the best! So good!

Oh, I cook for her every week, usually two dinner type things, soups and lasagna and stuff, plus one baked item. Cookies or cake, usually. HHA's have all been shown the freezer, which is crammed with my home cooked goodies, and invited to help themselves if they ever feel peckish.  Lord knows its a long night. I cook and bake at home and bring it over, though. I can't find anything at my mother's house because my brother reorganizes it all the time. Plus there are no ingredients. My mother hasn't cooked for herself for years. Its bare bones over there.  Today I made squash and ginger soup and the aforementioned strawberry lemon blondies. Tomorrow I will do some simple breaded chicken cutlets, at my brother's request.

He's never getting the surgery, Mom. Never. He hasn't lost a pound in three months. And it hurts when he does the ridiculous exercises so he of course can't do them. Delusional man. But yet Dr. Now is going to magically wave his wand and take two hundred pounds off of him so he can dance suggestively in a Montana Milz video.
