At least this episode wasn't as over the top as the episode of Charlie's Angels where the women went undercover in prison, but it wasn't the greatest.  I kept wondering how they were going to get out of this one (because obviously they were), when suddenly Dante and company appear and the problem is solved.  After Robyn put on her show of how tough she was in front of the inmates, I liked the one who asked her to just shut up and turn the TV back on.  That made me laugh for some reason.  I'm glad that they showed Mel is still struggling, but that she didn't have a huge setback.

It was really obvious that Robyn was going to go out with Miles at the end--complete with Dante showing up to see them hug.  They have definitely overplayed their hand with how much they think most people will care about this storyline.  If the show gets more seasons (which is very much in doubt), it will probably be more of the same.  I do hope that if CBS decides to end it, they will give some advance warning, but that probably won't happen.

When Aunt Vi accidentally injured the police captain, at least she didn't hit him where he'd told her to!  It's nice that her family is supportive and want her to see someone, but I'm surprised they aren't worried about how anti-equalizer he is, that this could cause problems.

I wish this show (but it's a general problem for most procedurals) wouldn't feel the need to have everything wrapped up within a day -- or actually just hours with the way they present things. Like, I know the formula - bad guy caught/day saved/problem solved by our heroes - but the timelines are just ridiculous. Robyn being admitted into the prison in the morning, and ending up in a deathmatch with the exact person she was looking for before dinner just made me roll my eyes.

But I did like that it was a new and different setting; I wish they had spent a little more time on that than Delilah's B-plot.

Ugh - I don't even want to comment anymore. These writers truly suck when it comes to Robyn/Dante.

Speaking of Dante; he's really being underused this season. I'd like them to bring him back to New York and have him be an official full-time member of the team, but then they'd actually have to have some progress/status update with Robyn/Dante, so I doubt that's going to happen.

I don't mind Aunt Vi's storyline, but that new friend character is not her friend! 😂

No fashion highlights; but I did like the two braided hairstyles for Robyn.

Calling out your first & last paragraphs @Trini because this relates to both: I loved how quickly Robyn was able to change her hairstyles, not once, but twice, so quickly (in addition to removing & reapplying her makeup).

Ha! Yeah, I forgot to mention that. If you know anything about black hairstyling, it was extra ridiculous. Not to mention, Robyn putting back on the exact same outfit at the end for some reason! (I know the BTS reasons.)

This episode was way better than the episodes featuring over the top CIA crap.

Agree that the Robyn/Dante/Miles triangle is a bore.  Kind of makes me laugh though where there are shows like Murder In a Small Town where the two leads go out on one date and immediately jump into bed, and then you have this show where its been like three years and all this pussy-footing around.  I'd rather see a happy medium.  Dante was kind of put on the back burner (the LA storyline) because the actor was in a Broadway show.  Maybe the B-way show has ended and he's more available now?    And wasn't Aunt Vi previously shown as being Gay?  Now they have her being googly over this police guy - I wonder why they rolled back the Gay angle?

And now that The Equalizer has been moved to the CBS Sunday Timeslot  of Death, my guess is that this is the last season.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but every show in the last ten years that got moved to 10 pm Sunday nights was cancelled at the end of the show's season.

Hah.  I'm glad I am not the only one that immediately thought of Charlie's Angels.

The whole prison scenario was kind of ridiculous.  Robyn gets transferred in just because a guy in a "federal agent" uniform says so?  Wouldn't there have been paperwork?  The more ridiculous one was Mel.  New guard shows up and no one questions it?  Did Dante or Harry get her in?  And again, no one thought to confirm?  It's that easy to just pretend to work at a prison?

I think she's being a good friend.  She wanted the captain for herself but she saw how taken he was with Vi so graciously stepped aside.  And since then, has actively tried to get the two of them together.

I am tired of Dante's worried look.  He moved to L.A., what did he expect was going to happen?  I am perfectly fine with Robyn and Miles being together over Dante.

The play closed in July.  I have no idea what the filming schedule of this show is, but that could have been a factor in the early episodes of this season.

Thanks for reminding me, I'd forgotten about that.

Not that I'm any good at predicting this stuff, but I think they can still squeeze out another season after this one. CBS tends to hang on to its established shows. It might depend on how good new show, Watson does.

It looks like the show used Fisk's death to put an end to all the CIA stuff at least for a while. Which was a good decision. The episodes work a lot better without all that international intrigue.

And everything is solved by "hacking." Traffic cams, private security cams, financial records, criminal records, facial recognition, all just a few keystrokes away. Every one of these shows has a moment where the hacker says "Already on it" and "Just sent it to your phone." It's almost a cliche.

This episode felt meh to me. I didn't like Miles all over his daughter's boyfriend. I'm so tired of that storyline. It always just to the daughter's boyfriend and whether she gets mad or not doesn't matter because he's just being a dad and she's suppose to be understanding.

I thought there would be more of a hunt for Jenna which would be fun as they tried to find her. It turning out to be a boxing match was kind of boring.

I did like woman telling Robyn to shut up and turn the TV back on. Even in jail people want their shows Robyn.
