New, 10/08/2024.

Still the same old burping and farting Amy.   Tammy and Chris look good.   Amy isn't looking good.

Tammy and Chris will see Dr. Smith about skin removal.    The other sister, Misty has lost a lot of weight, and isn't going to get skin removal.

Amy and Tammy want to do overall makeovers, makeup, hair etc.   I like Tammy's red hair.

Chris thinks Tammy learning to run the riding mower will be a good step before her learning to drive, it doesn't go well.   Tammy can't stop the mower, and now says she's never learning to drive.   She's worried about her passengers, or others getting hurt.

I don't like the phony paranormal stuff, and claiming to contact Caleb.

I was cringing when Tammy was riding that tractor around Amy's two boys sitting in a wagon, and then she went out of control and still, no one grabbed the boys to get them out of the way.

My guess is it was all a put on, and Tammy was fine driving the riding mower.   I'm sure future a storyline will be Tammy conquers her fears and learns to drive.

I agree with the sisters, Tammy looked great, and Amy looked like a Mermaid.

Hire Tammy a driving instructor, tell her you are giving her 6 months to learn to drive and get a license. After that, no more rides anywhere. Tammy has to break the learned helplessness she's had her whole life.

Glad to see Amy being a more involved parent. Knew Chris had gained weight-he has done very well, but looks like he backslid.

Hope the ever-silent  Brittany got a lawnmower ride....

Wasn't this "new" season filmed immediately following the last season?  As I recall the sisters (instigated by Amanda) had a physical brawl on that Florida trip & they had to stop filming, but restarted after they all got home. I thought I read that Amanda tossed Tammy out & she had to move in with Chris quite a while back. I could be wrong of course.

I was about 15 minutes into this episode when I suddenly realized I just can't watch anymore. I turned off my dvr, stopped recording, and cancelled the rest of the season. There is no story here!! They just keep burping, farting, laughing at their own stupid jokes, calling each other bitch, going on made up excursions, and then there's Chris's voice. I just think I od-ed on everything, all at once. I think I will continue to come here and read the snark cause I would miss everyone's reactions/comments! I enjoy these, far more, than the actual show!!!

I swear Tammy hit the wagon one of the kids was sitting in when she careened out of control, but no one dived to grab the boys. So, maybe not. That was scary. I think it was real. She seemed to have a real panic attack.

The burping, farting jokes were never funny. I think they realize it, too, but it’s expected of them?

Tammy laughing at Chris in the pod was hilarious. He was looking at her so seriously, I laughed out loud myself.

Missy looks great. Good for her. Amanda does seem sour about the others being more successful than her, so far. Tammy’s body is so distorted from all those years of being super morbidly obese, it’ll take a lot of time and surgery to get it all to coherently settle. I’m happy for her. Losing weight is hard as hell, she’s really come far. Amy and that hair, yikes.

I like Chris. He’s always so enthusiastic and supportive of his sisters. He just seems like he enjoys life whatever he’s doing. His wife is quite the opposite. He’s so gregarious and she’s practically mute.

Amy started the altercation in Florida and Tammy has her own house.

Honestly,I don’t think Tammy has the emotional maturity to drive.

You might be right @ButterQueen. That's why a certified driving school/instructor is a thought. Someone who can give her confidence and the skills needed to try to get a license.

Too, after spending all your life having other people drive (or push) you around, I wonder if it isn't hard to realize that now YOU need to be alert and watchful all the time when you're in the car.

Tammy has more emotional maturity than two Amys put together, but I realize that's not saying much.  Scarier than the thought of Tammy driving is the reality of Amy raising two children.  I think the "panic attack" was producer-driven and that she'll probably learn to drive just fine.  I'm not sure there are any driving schools or instructors out in rural Kentucky where they live, though.  I agree with both Tammy and Chris that she would do well to move farther away from her family and to a subsidized apartment on a public transit bus line.
