(Side note: I thought Erin looked VERY different in that WWHL episode, but could not pinpoint why.)

Erin looked different on WWHL. The part in the middle darker hair didn't help either.

Was the elevator really broken or was that a conspiracy between Brynn and production to get Erin huffing up five flights?

I thought the elevator was part of Brynn's trolling.

Jessel likes looking at her own reflection the 17 seconds before the person she’s video-calling accepts the call.

Jessel is a narcissist. I can't believe she said this on tv.

I, too, was shocked that Jessel admitted this on TV.

“Narcissus is a figure from Greek mythology who was so impossibly handsome that he fell in love with his own image reflected in a pool of water. Even the lovely nymph Echo could not tempt him from his self-absorption. Narcissus' name lives on as the flower into which he was transformed and as a synonym for those obsessed with their own appearance.”

I thought you would wait till you lose most of your hair so you can get a good fit, Erin's mother went in with a thick head of hair.

Also, Erin getting a long bob hair cut because her mother would be losing her hair was hardly the sacrifice she thought it was.  When my brother was going thru chemo and started to lose his hair, I cut mine short, about an inch long all over my head but just could not commit to shaving it completely. He thought I was nuts but we looked alike when his hair started to grow back.

Seriously. Erin has always been utterly exhausting. She sucks the fun out of every room she enters. But she really took a new low even for her with getting a cute medium-length lob cut and then acting all put-out that people didn’t immediately acknowledge that this was a “cancer solidarity” lob…which she also apparently will soon cover up with a wig that looks exactly like her prior hair, but thicker and shinier. Okay, Erin. I mean, I guess all of these people are full of themselves, but how does one take their mother’s cancer and then make it about themselves with a cute, modern, age-appropriate haircut?

I totally agree.

Erin is a piece of work (possibly a broke piece of work)

Wig store--response to @Baltimore Betty .  As I posted earlier, I went to the same wig store.  They had me come in while I still had my full head of hair so they could match the wig to my real hair as best as they could.  They are able to adjust the fit later.

I am happy that you have made a full recovery, my only wig/cancer experience came when my friend wanted another wig, (did not love the first one), so I took her to a place that typically does wigs for the Jewish Orthodox women and she was already bald at that point, she made a full recovery as well and looked great in her wig.  Did you have that same guy help you that helped Mother Erin?

I bet you were really feeling the support of your cancer journey the second you saw Erin having four inches cut off her hair, I know I could feel the warmth and energy, lol.

Suddenly I'm inspired to get my hair trimmed

I thought it was funny that she had to point out that she had gotten her hair cut at all. Wasn't that her hair length last season? I saw no difference. And what's the point of practically shaving her head (sarcasm) in support of her mother if she's going to wear extensions?

Your sacrifice is amazing, please don't forget to point out the inch you had taken off to all your friends and family, you are an inspiration.

The least Erin could have done was cut ten inches off for Locks of Love. She is an idiot.

Thank you!  My guy was sitting in the background at the desk.  I teased him about it on Facebook yesterday.  I had not known there would be an appearance.

I've tried all the different types of wigs, even $29 synthetics.  I'd buy those in fun colors and wear them to amuse myself and friends.  The wigs for the Orthodox women are made very differently from the ones at Bits and Pieces (the place on the show), and they're even more expensive. I never bought a shaytl.

I've always thought those people who shave their heads in support of friends are ridiculous.  But perhaps I was less traumatized about my own hair loss.

I knew I wouldn't shave my head but I felt powerless in a horrible situation, a nurse wound up shaving my brother's head after it started to come out, since I did not match as a bone marrow donor (none of us did), it was the only thing I could do to show him I am there for him and I do look good with short hair, lol.

Yes, her hair length was about the same last season.

Question.  Does anyone know if Erin regularly wears a wig?

About the Bitcoin: he sold it at a lower price years ago, and it went up since. She wanted to sell it and pay a large chunk of their mortgage. Who knows what he did with the money.

It's the "years ago" part that I would find really troubling if I were Erin. If he had sold it and told her right after the fact, it's an oops. But to sell it and keep that a secret...super shady.

I am very petty. Brynn impressed me, even though I am sure she was performing for the camera. However, Manhattan tap water is delicious.

Erin is dour, and I can think of so many other women or plants who would bring more to this show. But no one deserves what Abe did to her. His excuses: he didn’t want to add stress to her already stressful life (but he sold the Bitcoin years ago); and he really had no choice, because Erin is used to a certain lifestyle.

Ronnie and Ben suspect that Erin also caught Abe doing other things, but she’d rather put this issue on camera.

Is this show the kiss of death for a marriage? Or would a woman only agree to join the cast because it’s her last, desperate attempt to keep her family together. If you present your family as blissfully happy, you can perhaps convince everyone and yourself that it’s happy.

I suspect Abe did more than sell the Bitcoin.

Joining a reality show is not the best way to save your marriage.
