VioletNevermind October 9 Share October 9 The 35-year-old Basement Daddy is a hell no. If they choose him, I’ll have to learn his name, but that’s my only takeaway on him so far. 4 1 1 Link to comment
Retired at last October 9 Share October 9 So, no one else watched? I don't bother with any of the fillers, especially if Kevin Frazier and his panel of nobodies are involved. Pretty auspicious start to a long-delayed season. 2 1 Link to comment
atomic October 9 Author Share October 9 I recorded the episodes, but will probably fast forward through most of it. Don't care about Frazier and his panel of nobodies either; will probably just check to see if the former cast members that come on have any interesting updates. 4 Link to comment

I completely missed it by my DVR got it and I watched tonight. For the most part, the couples seem like nice and well-intentioned people but I've been fooled before. I think it's funny that they have a leftover from another season (Houston?) in Ikechi and explain it no further than saying "yeah, he lives here now and he applied again). There are a couple cute dogs, so I guess there's that. Here is an idea for a show. Take a bunch of married (or happily partnered) couples. Have them fill out all the personality tests and applications and have the "experts" interview them separately. See how accurately they match them up. I don't know that anyone would match me with my amazing husband but we are great together. I wonder how accurate the "experts" matching would be when they start out knowing that everyone is successfully matched with someone. 6 1 1 Link to comment
Crashcourse October 11 Share October 11 I don't know the couples' names yet, but I do wonder how the bride will feel about seeing that hairy, bearded guy. 3 Link to comment
Meowwww October 13 Share October 13 (edited) Karla and the “like” every other word….and the blonde girl Michelle too. And the uptalk. I’m not going to be able to handle it! Edited October 13 by Meowwww 2 2 Link to comment
Retired at last October 14 Share October 14 Thanks for the warning! That annoys me, too. I keep telling myself that "things change," but that doesn't mean we have to like them. I once had to tell someone I was interviewing for my team that I thought she had great skills, but I could not hire her for a senior trainer position unless I knew that I could put her in front of a group of senior leaders and she could speak professionally. And, since it was so distracting during the interview, I had tallied the number of 'likes' she used. I know it is just a lazy bad habit, but it is what it is. Of course, after I pointed it out to her, I gave her a chance to answer the questions again, or reschedule and come back. 1 Link to comment
Jodyj October 15 Share October 15 I am one of the people who thought this started today. I watched the matchmaking show last night in a semi panic. I was fine with the first and second couple. Then they got to the really driven man and the hippy girl and my first thought was this is a really stupid match. I don't remember the names yet either. I really want this season to work but some accidentally seen spoilers (Hate spoilers) make me think it won't. I need some separation of couples and more expert meetings with the couples. I hope I see that. Happy watching everyone. 1 Link to comment
Doublemint October 16 Share October 16 Watching the wedding gown selection. So far 3 girls - 2 of them are big. Don't think the blond and the basement guy will work out at all. Link to comment

One of the blonds is definitely pretty busty but that's the only thing I can think of that could be construed as "big." 7 Link to comment
