I’ve had a hell of a month dealing with my child’s medical issues. We flew out to Arizona from Jersey today to put them in the one facility we can find to handle their multiple issues (this is after a week and a half ago flying to Texas and being discharged after 5 hours because they refused to give my kid their insulin). Anyhoo, on the plus side, Love After Lockup is on here at 5:00 instead of 8!! So I get to watch my show and laugh with my bunkies before crashing.

Well, here's a cheerful but stupid AI problem. I use the voice prompt on my remote almost exclusively. I have to say WE TV very slowly and precisely or I am sent to Me TV. Most recently it's been sending me to the Weather channel. I guess too many hours of watching hurricane footage. Have been scrambling to find out what the channel number is.

But it's on NOW.

The tiling is done! The contractor sent us pictures today, it is BEAUTIFUL. Grouting needs to be done, then paint, which we dropped off yesterday, then fixtures installed, then we get to go back home! Hopefully by....Tuesday, maybe? I am so looking forward to it!

Mom's doing well! She's up and walking. She should be home on Monday. We're getting a hospital bed delivered tomorrow, and the visiting nurse and health aides are re-engaged. We're also looking into professional nursing staff to come over and possibly be here overnight. Mom has plenty of $$$ set aside for this, and it would be a real godsend for my brother, who's been bearing most of the load. So its looking good!
