I'm disappointed and surprised that they didn't use the bell on Ship. I thought Ship was the frontrunner, and they didn't want to save her.  Her voice is amazing, I would have advanced her over Buffaloes.  I think any kind of group/pair always seems to do well, because it's hard for a solo singer to beat the harmonies.  But somehow they can't seem to win it all.  The closest was Wilson Philips who were runner up.

I think they've learned from previous shows that they should hear all groups of singers before using the bell. The best time to use it would be during the semi-finals when ALL groups have been heard. Usually they are the best singers, and it can be difficult to make a choice. IMO, that would be the best time to save someone.

Totally agree with all of the above. It should definitely not be used with the first group. I think one season they used it with group A and then regretted it when a superior singer couldn't be saved.

I was surprised by all the acts in this episode. Marsai sounded better than she had before and Paula sounded weaker. I think her songs just weren't in her wheelhouse. Buffalo was just better, IMO, during the battle royale. I was really surprised no one guessed Marsai, the clues so obviously pointed to her from week 1.

Looking forward to group B.

Fingers crossed there are some good singers in this group unlike past seasons where Group A was stacked and the other groups were just so-so. 

I missed the first minute of it; good thing I'm DVRing it. All I saw was Robin and Rita singing but didn't see Nikki. That was an awful version of a great classic rock song.

I must be one of the only people who don't know who Nikki Glaser is.  I vaguely remember her name when she was unmasked on her season but that's it.  When she was introducing one of the contestants and called herself "international pop superstar Nikki Glaser", was that supposed to be facetious?

I take it she is a comedian but I didn't find anything about her funny.

Robin's singing sucks, as usual.  I loathe his singing and I loathe his mannerisms and attempted dance moves.

Group B overall just sucks.  I'm annoyed that Paula Cole is out but one of these will advance to the final round.  

They didn't have any wild cards in Group A, don't they usually introduce a wild card midway through each round?  I wonder if wild cards are gone or if they will bring one in at the very end.

I picked up on the clue for Andy Richter once he said he had starred with Marlon Brando, "but no one has seen that footage". Fun trivia: The introductory scene of Scary Movie 2 was an "Exorcist" parody, with Andy playing the young priest and (originally) Brando cast as the old priest. Brando apparently had to drop out of filming after 1 day of shooting due to illness (it's the last film project he was involved with before dying), and that footage has never been seen anywhere. He was replaced in the film by James Woods (unfortunately not an upgrade 😞)

So I already knew it was Andy and then when I heard him singing it was confirmed for me.

Nikki is well-known for doing roasts. And IMO, she does them very well.

She also has a few stand up comedy specials on streaming services...mostly for shock value.

Name spoilered since I can’t remember the rules for this thread and don’t want to spoil it for anyone who wants to be surprised. 
 

Wasp may be on his way to winning this whole thing. 
 

Edit : was expecting Goo to go home after tonights songs. Surprised to see Chess Piece leave.

I don't understand how none of the judges knew it was Laverne Cox.  The singing voice last week was not particularly feminine at all, I had thought last week that it was RuPaul.  But this week... come on.  Talking about not being able to have Barbies as a child because it wasn't acceptable.  Singing the song "I'm Every Woman"?  She was one of the easiest contestants to figure out.

I still think Paula Cole is better than any of the three remaining Group B contestants.

These 3 actually sound decent together compared to some groups we’ve had in the past. I can’t decide if I want them to use the bell tonight(and be done with it for the season) or save it for a hopefully worthy contestant in group C. 
 

I know I’m a tad emotionally on edge, but Goo’s story is getting me a little teary. 
 

Wait a sec, hasn’t Brian McKnight already been on this show? Maybe I saw a clip from a different country in YT or something, but I can kinda picture him unmasking.
