S06•E06 — Pageantry

Bye Harper! I hope they won’t bring this ridiculous character back. A contract killer who is so impulsive, meticulous planning be damned. 🙄

It’s so amazing that CCTV footages in this show are always in HD that when they zoom in on Harper, they can immediately identify the entry pass. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Jamie must be his drug dealer. There’s something more to Ethan’s situation than what we think. If it’s only addiction to oxy, that’s so lame because I imagine the worst.

I was happy to see that for once Remy didn't pair off with Nina. It was getting to be a little tiresome the way he always picked the hot blonde to accompany him on cases. Speaking of which, the show is dressing her more and more inappropriately to the job each episode. This time a very low cut top, shoes she can barely run in. She runs like she's had Chinese foot binding or something. It's ridiculous. She falls so far behind in chases I sometimes wonder why the chasee doesn't just stop and question 'Really? This is the best you can do?'. I like Nina on her own but the show is making her look like a token hot girl. Or a Charlie's Angel. At this rate they'll be adding 'jiggle' to the Nina repertoire before the season ends.

.  Wasn't the best episode for me. 

.  So Remy hands Harper her gun back and walks in front of her.  What's to stop her from shooting him and then fleeing?

.  I see Harper coming back at some point to "help" the team in a case.

.  Nina's situation doesn't look good right now, but I bet she ends up helping him to rehab.  Their relationship is probably finished.

Nina is still running in heels with tight jeans.  Oh, she's a babe, but let's get some realism in the show please!

Very good episode IMO - I like this cases on this show the best of the 3 FBI shows. Good investigation and good twists - I liked the reveal that Ash was undercover and then that he was dirty and had gone rogue. Vic was a pure psycho. Strong case that played out nicely and had a good flow to it.

Remy’s old friend seemed like a sleazy alcoholic, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he gets in trouble in the future if they bring him back. It was weird that they said Remy worked in finance before joining the FBI, that’s never been mentioned before and seemed like an odd reveal. Maybe Remy made some money then and that’s how he affords his spacious apartment. The personal scenes felt tacked on here as they often do, although Remy being hungover at the first crime scene was kind of funny.

I was also unaware of Remy’s background in finance. I didn’t realize it wasn’t revealed before. I thought it must have just been something I missed. Interesting that he doesn’t work in financial crimes. 
I can’t imagine how anyone works undercover. It must be psychologically brutal.

S06•E07 — Highway to Hell

Does anyone remember to uncuff Ray Ray? 😲

A much better COTW than the other 2 FBIs. Instead of pure greed, Ash/Charlie being mentally and emotionally exhausted from doing UC works is a good twist.

Sanitary? What a stupid, unhygienic name for a bar. Remy’s friend is a douche.

Also, those heels were so loud when she was trying to find her partner.

Feels like it was added for a plot point.

I had the same thought--he definitely does. Worked on Wall Street, I thought? Seems odd they wouldn't have mentioned that earlier for Remy.

And his friend played a sort of rich party boy on Royal Pains, so I kept thinking of him as that character. Seemed to fit with his role here, too. He does seem like he'll come back with some issue in the future. Like one of those "I woke up to find my one-night-stand dead" scenarios, though I guess that wouldn't fit with Most Wanted. Though maybe they figure out she was attacked by a serial killer.

Very good episode, but why did they have to kill that son?  I felt so outraged and afraid at the same time while Sheryl and Ray were under attack by the Sheriffs.  Who played that awful head sheriff?  Anyone know?  I don’t see it in the episode listing on. IMDB. He looks familiar.

S06•E08 — The Electric Company

A recycled storyline. We have seen this so many times in Dick Wolf universe.

It’s good to see Christopher Thornton again. The last I saw him was in Magnum PI.

The FTF team is underestimating the small town assholes. They don’t even realize that their movements are being tracked. Remy being so cocky is almost funny.

The traffic stop scene is really intense and intimidating. Am really nervous for Sheryll and Ray. Compelling performances by Roxy Sternberg and Edwin Hodge. 👏🏻

Abby clearly doesn’t want to be in a committed relationship. Move on, Remy. You should have never let (Judge) April Brooks go.

IMDB now has the actor listed for the mean sheriff:  John Bedford Lloyd. I know I’ve seen him in various things that are listed but none is particularly memorable.

I was a bit surprised that Remy assigned the two black agents to be in the car together knowing that they were in a racist county. I know it was done for dramatic purposes but didn't ring true for me.

Otherwise - compelling episode. 

I prefer the episodes which are not akin to Criminal Minds.

Really strong episode - very intense. We’ve seen rogue cops before in the Dick Wolf universe so it was pretty obvious where this was going but it was still compelling to watch play out. And pretty shocking when they tased Ray - those cops should’ve known that would be a big mistake but they weren’t that smart. Very satisfying to see all of those rogue cops taken down and I liked that the dad was disgusted with his son’s actions at the end. I did wonder how the rottenness of this sheriff’s office hadn’t come to light sooner in this day and age, but I guess everyone had been intimidated into silence. The guy playing the scummy sheriff has played a couple of memorable roles on original Law and Order, nice to see him. Remy had some good lines towards the dirtbag cops. This show has consistently good cases.

Another good episode, very interesting how they incorporated the real life MOVE bombing in Philly into the episode. Good investigation and hunt for the fugitive and an intense ending with the bomb going off while they were in the house. Good role for each character and a solid case.

Don’t care about Nina’s family drama but at least it didn’t affect the case at all. I can’t figure out her dad though, he seemed okay enough tonight after coming off as a pure psycho in his first appearance.

This episode left me with a bad taste in my mouth.  In all of Dick Wolf's shows you know who is the bad or good guy just by "certain things".  Yesterday's episode, they wanted us to feel sorry for the bomber and maybe what happened in 1985 was unfortunate, but the bomber did kill 2 people just to make a point.  The 2 arresting agents looked like they were about to be in tears in having to do their job.  Good for Remi for keeping his gun pointed at the bomber.

Did I mishear, or did Remy actually say "Call the kids parents and have them come pick up their kids?", making it seem as if they all had to stay in the house until then! How about "Get the kids out of the house immediately"! It's only when she dithered (like, "gee where did I put the list of emergency parent contact list") that Remy said "get the kids out!" (and even then, the bomb may have gone off first).

I didn’t think they wanted us to feel sorry for the perp anymore than other perps with a tragic past. This show has frequently had perps who’ve done evil things but who have a past that makes them kind of tragic figures. I like the complex nature of the cases on this show and the more psychological development of the perps, this is my favorite FBI show

It wasn't about feeling sorry for him it was about explaining what triggered him to commit the acts he did. And yes the two Black agents are going to be empathetic to what happened to the man's family when he was child considering why it happened.

My guess is that they use the turmoil with Nina's sister as a vehicle to write her out for 2 episodes. It seems as if they have been using less than the full cast in some episodes to save money.
