Yes, there was an over-long and boring scene of Meri debating the merits of a round versus rectangular table.  It appears that she went with her favoured choice of a rectangular table as being more efficient with space. Too bad there is only one chair for Meri & none for guests or clients.

This was so long ago I had forgotten about it. That's how slow this show is.

However I will watch Meri remodel anything for the rest of my days if TLC will promise never to show me another scene of Christine and her tactless brood discussing pooping in front of people EVER AGAIN.

Christine’s ring was really ugly. I don’t like marquise stones in particular, and this ring had too much going on. Three or four metals. Filigree.  There’s a Yiddish word for this overdone ornate  fussiness:   Ungepatchka.  Yes, it has a negative connotation. 
 

Robyn was just too much in this episode. I did not understand that word salad about the choice of Robyn’s house.

So Kody refers  to his kids with Robyn as HIS kids… but he always refers to Janelle’s, Meri’s and Christine’s kids as theirs, never as HIS.  Does he not understand that the 13 OG are cognizant of the difference.  
 

So Janelle has never had control of the money, just the bookkeeper and the taxes.  And Meri is stupid about the ground and Kody

I think she shovels, but when you have huge snow piles of the snow you shoveled (which you see outside her door), they tend melt in the day and then the water ices up at night.

Right and if you have 8+ feet of snow to shovel, there are only so many places you can pile it.  You just do a path around them.

Living in the Canadian Rockies, I know all about snow shovelling. When I am expecting visitors, I make sure the path is clear or throw down gravel if icy, since I wouldn't want someone to break a hip.

Agree! She was so smart to get out of the CP mess. That is sounding like it is going to be one last jab Kody can give the other two.

Christine needs to get over the idea that having Kody around is an unnecessary complication.  They share offspring… get used to it

I completely agree.

I think some of this is Christine acting after the fact, too. Gwendlyn was ticked off that the Kody-David meeting (and the show's filming of it) took over her & Bea's engagement party. 

They film the couch segments long after the real events. I feel like Christine was trying to place the blame on Kody and Robyn (to escape some of it herself).

I really wish I knew how their money was handled.  By the time they were in AZ were they still all giving a percentage to the family fund or what?  They keep saying Kody didn’t have the money to pay off Coyote Pass and that irks me because I’m sure the wives have been contributing.  If Janelle was the bookkeeper she should still know a lot about the $$.  Of course she only knows what Kody wants her to know.  I’m sure he has been syphoning money off the family fund for years.

Meri has been alone for years.  I don’t think it would be that difficult to adjust.  Kody is holding that baby like a security blanket.

Me too. The show has really been missing this interaction of Meri, Christine, and Janelle. We've had plenty of Christine and Janelle alone together, but after a while, it got repetitive.

That being said, the hug between Meri and Christine, and their short conversation, was one of the most real moments ever on this show.

The emotion on her face and in her voice was real though. I wonder if she drove over with Kody and Robyn, because she made the comment about not following Kody into the house, but then they seemed to come in immediately behind her.

Meri has never been very good at hiding her emotions. I was surprised, because in earlier episodes, when she was talking to Jen, or to other friends (even to Rebecca and Nathan) about the split, she seemed better able to find the good in it. Maybe it just hit her, being together with so much of the family.

I had the same problem listening to him that I usually do. He's so full of b.s., my brain won't take in his words. I felt like he just had to say something contrary to what David was saying.

I think at that time, she still felt more positive about the production.

Most of the time, the production has been pretty kind to the kids. We usually only saw them in silly and sweet moments. I think it took her by surprise that the party got so sidelined by the show.

It was in someone's apartment or the Air B&B where the other kids stayed, or something. I don't think it was a huge bill -- maybe the tattoo artist, but it wasn't like a big catered affair with dancing and a DJ.

he also had to add “she’s not shy with me!” in other words “she’s pretty AND hot in bed” at least that’s how I took it, he’s such a freaking Neanderthal! 🤮
 

He also said that getting matching tattoo’s was “cheesy” and there’s Christine and David getting matching tattoos. 🤡

In the opening scene Meri’s voice is heard saying that Janelle is coming over and they’re showing this scene with basically no snow….then Janelle drives up and there’s huge piles of snow at Meri’s house.

Drives me nuts how they film and present everything out of order.

I think she meant having them around celebrating. And no, he doesn't need to be at every function just because they have kids together.
