It makes no sense to me. It makes no sense that they aired Christine and David's wedding at the end of last season, and now we're back to her dating period.

I wonder if production takes a really long time stitching together the footage into the narrative the show wants to sell us.

It makes no sense to me that they worked so hard last season to catch up, and now they're undoing it all. It's ridiculous.

And they keep replaying those awful scenes like the "knife in the kidneys" one. How long ago was that? I feel like they've been replaying it for years already.

It's weird. I feel like this is stuff they did already last season. We get it already, Robin doesn't have a relationship with Christine. Christine has moved on. Robin and Kody are having issues, she misses some kind of camaraderie she never had with her sister wives.....Same crap, different year!

Yup! I think Janelle's been raking the same pile of leaves since early into the pandemic.

I might be as tired of hearing Kody complain about his "dark place" as I am about Robyn crying about sitting on a porch with her sister wives. I'll give him this, though. He's better at squeezing out some tears than his pet wife. 

Kody's is so full of bologna about his broken heart though. He was not in love with Meri (anymore). He was never in love with Christine. Maybe he's bummed about Janelle, but she's not even at this baby "sprinkle."
 

Speaking of, isn't a casino a weird "theme" for a baby shower-type event? Especially one so small. I feel like they just threw the party to have something to film.

What Kody refuses to accept is that he is the cause that no one wants to be around him and Sobbyn.  He chose Sobbyn above all of them!  That is what hurt the kids and OG 3 wives.

Exactly and how many times have we heard all about their struggles? Turn the page already! He is so hard to watch. He is everything I loathe in one person!

Speaking of the baby sprinkle, that weird leaning tower of cake was the most interesting thing so far, LOL (sarcasm)....What WAS that???

Meri is wearing one of my Target necklaces in her talking heads. That's all I got, LOL!

I just realized, Kody's Covid precautions, that kept him from having Christmas with his kids, didn't get in the way of him going to Mykelti's baby sprinkle.

I guess it's good that Kody isn't talking about Maddie, but why are you doing a reality series, if you won't open up about your life.

Kody really is a narcissist, isn't he? "Anything they can do to exclude me..." Please.

When I first heard them say it, I did, but then I remembbered they don't Christen babies (and last I knew Mykelti and Tony weren't really practicing any religion -- Tony left the mainstream LDS church after they wouldn't accept Mykelti, unless she cut off her family). 

I have heard of baby sprinkles though (showers for kids after the first born). Usually they're when someone is having a baby years after the first one, but where Mykelti is having twins, I can kind of see the need. It's nothing my family has ever done.

However, I think this one was just for the cameras, which seems like a waste of time, because it was a boring segment.

He's rewriting the script to try to say he never loved Meri. He is FOS. He's just all sour grapes now because she's rejecting him. But he rejected HER first, he just won't admit that. She's right that he's trying to make her the bad guy! 

People would say "this is not the Kody I know". I don't think they ever knew the REAL Kody. He was putting on an act. THIS is the real Kody!

I'd never heard of a "sprinkle" before. But I suppose it means or should mean fewer gifts than the full-blown shower of stuff for the first kid. Though with twins, one crib, stroller etc. won't be enough. But they can share a lot.

That family was never 'great',, it's just that the kids were too young to see or understand how depressed and repressed their moms were. It wasn't until Sobbyn showed up and they were much older, wiser, more worldly, and we're abke to start putting it all together and saw what a snake oil salesman their sperm donor was.

I have always maintained that TLC should have and should hold Kody to his contractual obligations and if he refuses to discuss something then he gets a substantial chunk of his payment docked, period end of story. The tone of this episode is so quiet, no big dramas or arguments. It is as if everyone (except maybe Robyn with her wishing..blah, blah and Kody with his wah, wah, wah, they all did me wrong....) is shrugging their shoulders and thinking "let's just get this over and done with". I can't quite put my finger on it, this is just plain boring!!

This has got to be the last season.

So I guess in Kodys book calling his religion “bullshit” isn’t disparaging.

All these people make me want to scream, they’re all talking in circles, they don’t have any real idea where the family finances are or who spent what…. And Janelle is a bookkeeper,,, I hope she runs her new farm business better than the way she’s run her finances in the past…. 🙄

Giving Janelle some grace here, I think she was dealing with Kody's wheeling and dealings and probably didn't have the true picture of where things really stood financially.

Robyn saying the family always helped one person out, then another, but it stopped.  Yes, it stopped right after Meri & Janelle put money into Robyn's house and then K&R never gave Meri or Janelle any "family" money (or their own money back) to help them buy houses for themselves.
