seacliffsal August 15 Share August 15 I really liked the challenge and played along (I so don't know super current pop culture...but it was fun). So sorry to see Danny leave as I liked him a lot. Was surprised that they didn't have a video from Marc Anthony for him. McKenzie played that perfectly, I really believed that her relative was Blake Sheldon and that they got her. Good acting indeed! I'm hoping that Adam is in for a big exit as I don't care for him. 7 Link to comment

Good acting indeed! She’s been playing really well throughout but just for this play, I hope she beats all the guys and wins. Adam’s wine clue was the 1st vague wine clue all season. Long haired 90s star who sings love ballads could be a lot of celebrities and I say this knowing who it is. Everyone else’s was spot on although the guesses weren’t. ApathyMonger August 17 Share August 17 I've been enjoying the season, but the lower episode order is definitely felt. They've taken next week's episode off the schedule, so there's only one (double-length) episode left. 2 Link to comment

They did the same thing last season. But they did reduce the show from ten episodes in S1/S2 to eight episodes this season, which isn't a good sign. I have no idea what counts as doing well, ratings-wise, in 2024. 1 1 Link to comment

I think it was moved because ABC is showing coverage of the Democratic convention that night. So I wouldn’t look at the move as a ratings issue. I agree that Adam’s clue was very vague, as was his clue during the yarn challenge. I believe it was the one about a singer doing a duet with Kelly Clarkson on her show. Even if you watch her show a lot, that clue could point to many people. However, the Superman clue was very revealing. There’s only one person I can see it pointing to. I googled the person I thought it was referring to and learned a lot about their personal life that I had no idea about! Maybe learned a little too much. lol I think it’s interesting that there have been two different relative connections this season. Unfortunately the pairs weren’t both aware of the connection at the same time while in the house, so nothing much came from it. Shane already mentioned that his family has a connection with MJ, and I have to wonder if he was closer with MJ than MJs own nephew? Seems odd that Shane wouldn’t have recognized Dedrick, or vice versa. Edited August 18 by pezgirl7 1 3 Link to comment

I know who Adam's relative is, but when the yarn clue came up, I initially thought it was for Marc Anthony. So I was confused for a moment when the clue that actually was for Marc Anthony came up later. Mackenzie and Hud played it wrong when voting for the guesser this time. If Shane was the guesser, he was either going to incorrectly guess Mackenzie's relative, which would have sent him home, or guess Adam's relative (which also would have sent Shane home, since he was on the wrong track, but from their perspective, he may have figured Adam out). So if they'd sent Shane in to guess, they could feel pretty confident that either he was going home or Adam was going home. Since none of them seem to have any idea who Shane is related to, him going home would be good for all of them. And if he managed to figure out Adam, then they'd get rid of someone who annoys them. And they would have kept Danny around, someone whose relative they feel pretty confident they know. But now they're stuck with Adam and Shane, two people who they haven't figured out yet. And, oddly enough, Adam may have the two of them figured out. He seemed to feel like he was on to something with both of them. Danny was a dick to announce Mackenzie's clue to everyone on his way out. Have we ever seen anyone do that on any season? Kevin and Franklin (or someone behind the scenes) should have stepped in and stopped him immediately when it became clear what he was doing. 4 1 Link to comment

This whole crew is a bunch of dummies, and I don't find any of them likeable either so the show this year is a sorry mess. I think they've only figured out who one person's relative was and everyone else has gotten booted because they were pathetic guessers. Previous years it was at least interesting to hear them talking relatively intelligently about the clues and to guess along with them. 8 Link to comment

I feel like these people never saw the other two seasons, because they have no strategy, and they're terrible at figuring out clues. Not only did we have Danny spilling Mackenzie's clue after being eliminated in this episode, but we also had Adam telling everyone how Hud had told him who Naomi's relative was after he guessed her right. Keep that shit to yourselves, guys. 5 Link to comment
