I would have liked Dylan as the next Bachelor, but at 24 (25 now?) he's too young, even though he says he's ready for marriage.

I don't watch "the series," but I'll catch one episode occasionally.  Haven't this season.  Any guy that young who's ready for marriage might just be ready to be taken care of.  He misses his mom--and he's in for a shock.

Also, he's in med school, so he's got other responsibilities to consider.

I think Grant's season of The Bachelor will begin around mid-September and will be finished before American Thanksgiving, which the Thanksgiving will be November 28.

Example: filming of Grant's season may begin on September 20 and will end in mid-November right before the aforementioned Thanksgiving.

Clayton and Zach's seasons started late September and both ended on November 21st. Clayton's season ended filming one day short. Should be said there will be two and a half weeks to go until beginning the filming of Grant's season.

Destinations (in the last 15 seasons/years, excluding Hometown visits):

  • Joey Graziadei (season 28): Los Angeles, Malta, Spain, Quebec, Alberta, Mexico
  • Zach Shallcross (season 27): Los Angeles, the Bahamas, England, Estonia, Hungary, Thailand
  • Clayton Echard (season 26): Los Angeles, Texas, Ontario, Croatia, Austria, Iceland
  • Matt James (season 25): stayed entirely in Pennsylvania due to COVID-19 protocols
  • Peter Weber (season 24): Los Angeles, Ohio, Costa Rica, Chile, Peru, Australia
  • Colton Underwood (season 23): Los Angeles, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Colorado, Portugal, Spain
  • Arie Luyendyk Jr (season 22): Los Angeles, Nevada, Florida, France, Italy, Peru
  • Nick Viall (season 21): Los Angeles, Wisconsin, Louisiana, U.S. Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, Finland
  • Ben Higgins (season 20): Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Mexico, the Bahamas, Indiana, Jamaica
  • Chris Soules (season 19): Los Angeles, New Mexico, South Dakota, Iowa (Des Moines), Indonesia, Iowa (Bachelor's hometown)
  • Juan Pablo Galavis (season 18): Los Angeles, South Korea, Vietnam, New Zealand, Florida, Saint Lucia
  • Sean Lowe (season 17): Los Angeles, Montana, U.S. Alberta, Virgin Islands, Thailand
  • Ben Flajnik (season 16): Los Angeles, Utah, Puerto Rico, Panama, Belize, Switzerland
  • Brad Womack (season 15): Los Angeles, Nevada, Costa Rica, the Anguilla, South Africa
  • Jake Pavelka (season 14): Los Angeles then road trip to San Francisco, Saint Lucia
  • Jason Mesnick (season 13): Los Angeles, Washington state, New Zealand

As for Grant's season, it will start in the usual Bachelor mansion in the outskirts of Los Angeles for the first few weeks of the competition, then travelling to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (the City of Brotherly Love), heading down south to Colombia (Cartagena), Uruguay (Punta del Este/Montevideo), and Argentina (Buenos Aires). The overnights and fantasy suites to be located in Malaysia.

Only a few wrinkles with Grant. He used a homophobic slur and made rude comments about Asians on Twitter.

He deleted everything when he was announced, proving he's media savvy.

Other than that, he has no other scandals.

I doubt he will be engaged and/or stay with his F1.
