ZettaK August 13 Share August 13 Captain Sandy suffers a heartbreaking loss, after which Aesha consoles her; the guests are ready for an excursion; a stew asks a deckhand out on a date, but it ends in regret. Link to comment
ZettaK August 13 Author Share August 13 Bri threw the bed pillows on the floor in order to make the bed! The caviar was not good! And that was a fish knife, not a butter knife. The female guests were difficult. Joe is an asshole. 5 1 Link to comment
Chatty Cake August 13 Share August 13 The lady guests were assholes but after Captain Sandy schooled them they were nicer. Yeah right. Joe doesn’t want any strings attached. No dates or pesky listening to a gal talk. just drop your drawers. 4 Link to comment
Baltimore Betty August 13 Share August 13 Those women were horrid, the couches were eyesores, your caviar service sucked but actually it did, there are correct serving pieces when serving caviar and boat like that should have the accouterments for such a service, the quality of the caviar is beyond their control and frankly I do not think anyone in that group really knows what caviar is supposed to taste like). I will never understand the rapid fire drink orders, the guests see there is one person to make all the drinks and they complain because they had to wait five minutes. The fish knife/butter knife was a hill that woman wanted to die on...Aesha should have gotten a butter knife so she could compare the two, also, if the fish course was over why didn't that knife get cleared? I was sort of shocked when Sandy, out of nowhere started lecturing the guests on how to behave, it was inorganic at that moment, I could see if Sandy caught one of the guests being rude to a crew member right then and there but her timing was off and I am sure off putting to the guests even if they were a-holes. Debutant girl said her mother taught her what is proper and how to behave...no she didn't. The guest that wanted food in her cabin because she gets hungry but was fine with berries? Berries and not a sandwich or something more substantial? Reminds me of the guest that ordered a turkey sandwich moments before dinner service and she never ate the sandwich. Jono makes a tray of sandwiches, the most anemic looking sandwiches ever, all on white bread, all the same? Were they meant to be paninis or grilled cheese like? For guests that wanted Michelin star food the seemed happy with Jono's plating and menus which tells me they do not know what Michelin star rated food is, they seem to talk out of their asses. I hope their clients of their various business's see this episode. Life coach my ass. The guys seemed nice enough. Funny how when Ellie was only allowed to wash the towels and rags (I kept hearing Aesha say 'reds."), suddenly all the clothing was returned to the correct cabins, no issues with white pants being grey and cashmere in the dryer. Hmmm. Joe telling Ellie he didn't want to go on a date was hilarious, Ellie should have known he is a fuck boy and not a date boy, we knew all knew why didn't she? 11 Link to comment

Why go after Joe when she says she has an NFL player in her DM's. LOL, I think we all know how it would go with an NFL player, his name might as well be Joe too. 2 6 Link to comment

I actually got a laugh out of this. But where did Mama Bear Sandy come from all of a sudden? I can only think of one other time when she maybe kinda sorta stood up for her crew and that was when she was at dinner with the guests and they complained about their food. She went down and looked at the preference sheets then took it right back up to the guest in question to show her she hadn't specified anything about what she was complaining about. This time, Sandy was just hearing about the guests' behavior secondhand. Then - a heartbreaking scene where Sandy learns her dog has died. I have to admit I felt for her in that moment. Anyone who has ever lost a beloved pet would feel for her. And yet . . . there is only one reason to include that in the episode itself, and that's to garner sympathy for Sandy. This, along with "Mama Bear Sandy" standing up for her crew, tells me the show knows her reputation needs a bit of bolstering. 1 hour ago, Baltimore Betty said: Why go after Joe when she says she has an NFL player in her DM's. I don't know how much of a brag it is to say an NFL player is DMing her to tell her he jerks off to her Only Fans videos. 3 8 Link to comment
aqusdealer August 13 Share August 13 (edited) I was cringing when Sandy was "educating" the rude guests. It just seemed so over the top and obvious and she returned to the point so many times. They get it Sandy....they probably don't give a damn, but they're not kids, they get it. Also, Joe is a dick. He agreed and should have just spent the hour on the "date" as suggested. Zaffy August 14 Share August 14 (edited) You know the guests are not good when they even make Ellie look like an angel. What is wrong with me? I actually liked this episode. They even went on a shore excursion. Yay! And we didn't have much laundry drama. Double Yay! Sad to loose a pet and on top of that not being there. Poor Sandy. Talking about Sandy, I found really amusing telling her story about nasty guests in front of... nasty guests. A tad embarrassing, but they deserved it! Oh Joe...are you gonna make it through this season in one peace? This is the kind of story where I think production ppl have contributed by "pushing the right buttons". Probably by encouraging Ellie to go on a date with Joe. Which wouldn't be hard, Ellie's ego is too big to let her accept that Joe only wants her for sex. From the next episode preview, did anyone get who was Joe in the closed room with? Edited August 14 by Zaffy 2 Link to comment
snarts August 14 Share August 14 Sandy's heavy handedness with the guests was cringeworthy. Yes, some of them were assholes, but no more so than many others. She's just so inconsistent. She'll do that after Aesha makes a small passing comment, but yet a guest could've slapped Hannah and she would've told her it was her own fault. I love that Iain's crew is developing experience/skills in spite of his (lack of) direction. Can't help but adore Gael, her enthusiasm is infectious. Ellie's only conciliatory with Bri now because she thinks she's won the war over Joe. If he cancels their date and again hooks up with Bri, I expect she'll get the claws back out. Side note, Bri was on WWHL and looked great. Wondering is the new stew is additional or a replacement for one of them. Trying to recall if the folks that were fired on past seasons had an invite to WWHL. 3 Link to comment

I don't think anyone is getting fired this season. 2 Link to comment

Trying to recall if the folks that were fired on past seasons had an invite to WWHL. That was really awkward. I understood was she was TRYING to do, but she failed miserably. LOL And yes, she would have happily burnt Hannah at the stake! Oh, but she's so good with her crew, blah blah blah. I know it's crumby, but i think she had feelings for the one female crew gal, and has she said "burn her burn her, she's a witch!" she would have happily gotten the matches. Joe is just a freaking pig. Just gross. I'm so irritated by the song. It just showed his callousness and lack of regard for those ladies. And now that he's going to try to get it on with the latest new hire... just gross. Quote Wondering is the new stew is additional or a replacement for one of them. I think I saw in the scenes from this season, Sandy saying to Aesha "how about we get a 4th stew..." or something like that, so I don't think anyone will be fired. Although Ellie sure as hell should be. 3 Link to comment

I believe some chefs have appeared on WWHL and later in the season were fired. But, I agree, I think Sandy is finally going to bring on the 4th stew. (Why didn't they fix that leaking ceiling?) 6 Link to comment

ZettaK August 15 Author Share August 15 (edited) The male guests were nice, and avoided sitting with/being by the women when they could. The female guests were more interested in taking photos at the Temple of Aphaia than listening to Joe describing its history. The sandwiches were supposed to be grilled, and become paninis. gaPeach August 15 Share August 15 What a strange episode. I could not believe Sandy decided to school this group of guests on kindness. My guess is they were not all that influential or important, so she felt safe lecturing them? I don't know, it was just bizarre. The female guests were ridiculous and glad they did get schooled even if it was by Sandy. Joe's and idiot and Ellie needs to learn to read a room. 4 1 Link to comment

Aww I thought that was great of Sandy to stick up for them. She basically told them that they don’t need their fucking money so be nice or get off the boat. The asshole women were disgusting, rude and had zero class. Quite frankly I’m glad they are shown for being liars. That awful woman talking about the fish knife claiming she knows allll about place settings?? Yeah no, you know nothing you class-less loser. The men seemed kind, and a little afraid of their wives. 2 Link to comment
