😡Heather basically bullying (surprise!) Gina and Jenn about being friends with Katie. “Not telling you what to do, BUT…” Real subtle — right out of 6th grade. Good observation from Shannon about Heather being the most defensive. Seems to me someone with her “stature” would be above this stuff.

Terry Dubrow: I love the paparazzi.

Well, we know he does. And being a celebrity. He forced Heather to join the show. She probably didn't think it was a good idea, but it proved to be a brilliant decision for both. He was offered his own tv show (Botched), she had a few acting offers, as well, they advertised their houses, they started businesses (cosmetics, clothing, and so much more).

Katie doesn’t need to justify to anyone — much less Alexis — about who she invites to her event. So much for Tamra showing compassion (the Tres Amigas convo from last week) toward Shannon. 

This dinner should have been at The Quiet Woman.

EDIT — Alexis. If John Janssen can dump Shannon, he can dump you just as well. How many times have we heard “But I know him” just before the screw-over?

Ladies, please let this be the last week we see the disco ball top.

I noticed the weirdness of that look too - it was like her shoulders and chest plate were from a wax museum but everything above and below paid the price with additional wrinkles. Filter gone bad??

Vicki told Shannon to cross the border from San Diego (illegally) to go to Mexico because she can't for ten years because of her DUI.

Vicki did it during Covid because she has a condo in Mexico, if anybody remembers. She posted about it on IG, as advice to people in order to avoid being tested!

You can’t bully an alcoholic into getting well.  Tamra’s and many of these housewives behavior with alcohol can be described as problematic in the very least. Thankfully, they’ve all been smart enough not to drive. But you can be an alcoholic and not have a DUI. Screaming and belittling someone with addiction doesn’t cure them. Tamra is such a hateful person. She’s not concerned or worried about Shannon. She’s just using her situation to act superior and get camera time. She’s so slimy.  See also: Alexis. Damn woman was practically foaming at the mouth to Defend Her Man. 🤢🤮

I wish Shannon wouldn’t get so flustered and run away.  She needs to calmly defend herself, but she’s too easy a target to get riled up.

I’ll give Alexis credit for this — she seems to have totally dropped the “Jesus Jugs” persona. Vicki, on the other hand, still plays the “good Christian” card. Hypocrite.

But I always love seeing Vicki’s Greatest Hits. I imagine it’s so hard to pick what to include. I’m surprised, though, that they didn’t show her going after Tamra over Brooks. She was totally unhinged that night.

I thought Tamrat was the nastiest bitch around, yet Alexis seemingly wants her crown. Acting like that over John Janssen? 

It's Shannon's life. It's on her to decide if sge has an issue requiring sobriety. I do find it incredibly rich that Tamra had zero problem with her drinking for 10 years. Now suddenly, when they've had a falling out, it's being used as the reason. Right, like Tamra's the bastion of righteousness. Remember when she'd yell at Shannon for being a Debbie downer & not partying  enough? I sure do. Jamaica trip, for example.

Regardless, decent people don't treat a friend like that and take such utter glee in seeing their pain. She's just evil.

Good for Emily & Vicki speaking up on Shannon's behalf and a small golf clap to Heather for trying to reason with Alexis. 

On a lighter note, I really should've snapped a pic of Gina's Judy Jetson confessional homage but I literally just sat here in stunned silence. It um was a look 🤣

Shannon shouldn't be drinking though, and Vicki enabled her by saying that she can drink if she doesn't drive! But Vicki is desperate to be on the show, and Shannon is the one who can include her in scenes. That's why Vicki became so righteous suddenly.

Shannon said at the table (at Gina's party) that she couldn't be drinking on her program, but she told her father earlier on the show she only has one or two drinks (!) now, and she ordered a drink at the party.

Pretty common justification — “it’s only two drinks,” “I don’t drink and drive…” Vicki’s the classic enabler, giving Shannon excuses.

Shannon’s alcohol problem has been pretty well-documented, but only she can make the decision to change. All Tamra will do with her yelling is to get Shannon riled up even more.

Vicki just wastes oxygen on this show now.

Tamra’s story this year is hectoring Shannon about drinking.  Pot meet kettle.   

Vicki really sounded stupid egging on Shannon’s drinking.  True, it’s important that Shannon not drink and drive, but she shouldn’t encourage her whooping it up.

Alexis is trying too hard with her (un)witty ripostes. “Shannon is going to need another face lift to get her jaw off the floor.”

I just can't believe she came to that party with John’s receipts.

I don't know why Alexis thinks that having John's receipts is such a big deal. Shannon never said that John didn't give her money. If it was a loan, it was pretty stupid on John's part not to have papers drawn up identifying it as such. Johnny J apparently isn't too bright. 

I did love Alexis referring to Johnny J as the man she is going to marry. That's what Shannon thought too when he said he wanted to take their relationship to the next level. He just had a different definition of next level. Beware of Johnny J using that phrase, Alexis. 

Whoever said last week that Terry looks like Hugh Heffner, thank you. I cannot not see Heff now when they show Terry. 

I am really, really tired of the producers making Shannon the target, year after year after year. No one believes that Tamra is worried about Shannon. Please stop insulting the viewers' intelligence, we know Tamra storyline this season is to attack Shannon. Again. Meanwhile, Tamra is the one dancing on tables last episode and apparently eating off someone's toes next episode. STFU about anything to do with Shannon, Tamra. Your behaviour in any and every season you have been on the show has been abhorrent.

Tamrats voice, always  goes up a few octaves when she's  yelling, I can't  stand that beyotch.  Alexis is trying way too hard, she's coming across like that a teenager  in love, who just has to  protect  her boyfriend,  it's kind of pathetic.  Thankfully  Emily and Gina stood up for Shannon,  and Jenn looked for her. She had Tamrats screeching,  and Alexis jumping up and down, I think  I might of walked and left them to it.

It wasn't  much of an episode,  I quite like looking  at the housewives  polls, where Shannon polls much higher than the two that screamed all night.

They must have had a sale on them somewhere. All of the women were wearing them (except Emily who had on a different version of leggings) in the same brown or black color. Didn’t they go out of style yet? It may be just me, but I weigh 71 lbs and am scared to wear them as I worry that they might be too revealing. Well, that’s why they might be wearing them. To get attention. They also look like they don’t breathe. Some kind of pleather material. 
   How ever do they decide what to wear in their confessionals? OTT with both their clothes, hair and makeup choices.

it’s so weird. They obviously end up eating at least some of their food. That’s why I often figure everyone is in on the ‘scene.’ I could never eat food during such tense, high emotion confrontations, but these women scream vile stuff at each other, burst into tears, etc Then, you see their plates are either half empty or cleared. The only thing that makes me think some of it is real, is knowing they’re not that good of actors. 
 

Plus, who would ever agree to let Tamra talk to them that way?

Nobody ate as much as Sonja from RHONY did at these lunches and dinners (except maybe Kandi from RHOA). Sonja ate like she had no food at home. Which she probably didn't.

If I was a HW, I would always be taking a few tupperware containers with me anytime there was a scene involving dining, whether at someone's home or at a restaurant ("Yes, I'm taking my salmon steak home with me, and since she didn't touch her plate of pasta, could you pack that up for me as well?").

Was Alexis hopped up on some type of amphetamine during her confessionals? Fun Lexie? When has Alexis ever been fun? Entertaining perhaps, over her complete stupidity, but fun, never.

Should Shannon not drink at all? Probably. That could also be said about most of them at that table. But I don’t think any of those wenches could ever go to one of these dinners and not drink, so why would they think Shannon could handle a dinner where she was the main target without a little fortification. The fact she isn’t a raving drunk while being excoriated by the worst person there and dealing with her ex-boyfriend’s gloating harpy should be praised, not condemned!

What’s so ridiculous is – at the time this was filmed it was February because they just talked about Valentine’s Day. Alexis and John only started dating in November so all of this “my future husband”, receipts, etc. is for a three month old relationship. She is so painfully stupid. And – I was thinking about it – why would Shannon need to borrow 65/$75,000 from John? She got a lump sum payment from David. She gets alimony. She comes from money. She couldn’t come up with that kind of money by herself? Makes me wonder where it all went?

I thought the same thing.  She showed no excitement at all about the ring so she probably was in on the upgrading or in fact did it herself.  Emily comes off to me as totally self centered and I don't understand how her relationship with her husband withstands that but go figure...Her gift to him was also so narcissistic.

I have a different take on that; If John considered that money a loan then why did he wait until filming started before asking for it back and threatening to sue Shannon?  And when Shannon offered to pay JJ but he had to sign a document that he wouldn't trash talk her anymore, he refused.  The point was to humiliate Shannon  and with Alexis and Tamrat's help he succeeded. 

I agree that Shannon was probably not spending wisely, especially considering she paid for everything they did together.   But unlike Jenn, she is putting her kids through school and keeping a roof over their heads.

Alexis was on Below Deck with another boyfriend all over him and claiming they were getting married.  That fizzled out quickly.  She is doing the same thing again!  

As far as the loan,  which she considered a considered a gift, maybe John wanted her to get the face lift and he was at the time agreeable to paying for it thinking it would make him happy too.  She clearly did borrow the money and doesn't deny it.  He only  wants this back now to get even with her.

I always feel like these sexy photo shoots are the equivalent of the husband giving the wife lingerie as a gift. It’s more for the giver than the receiver.  Even if I did look hot, my husband wouldn’t want a framed picture of me like that as his gift. He’d be like-is this it? No game tickets or something?🤣

Maybe if the wife was very buttoned up and conservative, surprising with a sexy photo would be exciting? But these women show their goodies on the regular. Not really a surprise or anything. 

Good luck with all that Johnny loyalty, Alexis. I’m sure he’ll return the favor by finding a younger blonde or an older, bit richer one to grift.

Is Shannon's meal line still in business? It seems like her focus switched to John's needs instead of her own. Wondering if she will soon be having more financial difficulties coming to the surface. 

Emily was playing both sides at the dinner. She was kind of egging Alexis on at first, looking at the receipts, etc. It wasn't until Alexis said she wanted to be friends with Shannon that Emily called her out. Emily used to be nicer. I definitely don't like her as much this season.
