The stews face an ultimatum given by Captain Sandy; Aesha implements a new laundry system; a deckhand's song about their romantic dilemma is overheard; during a day off, a deckhand apologises as romance escalates.

First aired on 8/5/2024

This laundry room drama must be made up by the production. If the clothes are labeled then there is no reason to mix up the laundry. if the clothes are not labeled too bad if you don't get your laundry back. But I will say that Bri looks and acts like she is not with the program. She is an easy target for mean girl Ellie.

Ellie keeps digging that hole deeper and deeper, her snarky question to Aesha about being allowed to re-enter the laundry was unnecessary, Aesha just told her what the plan would be but she needed to be a brat.

I am not sure why Bri gets the laundry all wrong, Sandy has labeled her shirts so how come Bri cannot deliver her laundry? Is Ellie screwing with her or is Bri daft?

Joe maybe a fuck boy but he can apologize sincerely.

I am still trying to figure out Nate's haircut and still trying to figure out what Gael's attraction is other than he is not her ex.

Sandy has been jonesing to fire Jono since day one, will she get her wish?

New stew coming aboard won't cause any problems among the deck crew, I say sarcastically.

I know Iain isn’t setting the bosun world on fire but I think Sandy is on his case a bit too much. It’s like she wants him to fail so she can light him up.

Bri is not doing herself any favors either. Ellie is full of herself but not a very good stew so Bri should just work harder and let Ellie self destruct. I mean she can’t even make a good porn star martini.

Joe singing the song about how easy the stews are should be an eye opener to both of the morons that they don’t need to give him more attention.

After all the recent drama, Joe will probably just leave the new stew be.

How boring is this season when the biggest drama is about laundry? Aesha has really failed as chief stew this season, she should have stepped in and organized it after week one. I think Bri is a bit of a dim bulb but I also think what little organization she has gets messed up every time Ellie goes into the laundry.

I've never understood why laundry is such a huge deal on this show. There are seven crew members plus the captain. Do they all need all their clothes washed every single day? It seems like they could just go in and wash a load of their own one at a time and nobody would be running around looking for their shirts of pants or whatever.  Hell, they wear their formal whites for about ten minutes, tops.

The Acropolis is wasted on these morons.

For what it's worth, Ellie was in full damage-control mode on WWHL. She took responsibility for her behavior this season and did a total mea-culpa.

I agree, why did Capt. Sandy telling her to take control of the situation in the laundry make her laugh?

At least Bri is a nice person, that's all I got.

I say this every episode!

When I was in sleep away camp decades ago we all had mesh bags with our name on the bag (as well as our clothing), the camp would wash our clothing while in those bags, maybe they could employ the mesh bags?

I know there are lots of sheets and towels from the guests and we haven't seen the guests asking for all of their laundry done during their charter, seriously how is it that the machines have to be running 24/7 to just barely keep up?

You know what we haven't seen Sandy do this season, we haven't seen her complain about the tablescapes and at best they have been average.

It's as if he was given marching orders to be the fuckboy stirring up drama with the stews and he's going to go for #3.

Thing is, even if he had to hook up, why do it on camera with the other cast members?  He could probably go out between charters and get one-night stands whom he wouldn't have to see or work with the next day.

Well these young reality star wannabes sign up for this, not just to partake in drama but to put all your business on tape for the world to see.

It's not even clear that Bri or Ellie would be his types or that he would find them as attractive as young women he could meet at a bar.

But obviously the cast chasing some random people who are not on the show would not be good for the show.  I vaguely recall that in one of the early seasons of The Real World, some cast members chose to socialize away from the home, away from the cameras and the producers put a stop to that, giving cast members that kind of leeway to avoid on-screen drama.

So I'm not even sure that it's a simple matter of some young male cast members trying to get with female cast members because they are genuinely attracted so much as it's expected of them.

Even horn dogs like Gary on BDSY, some of his behavior is performative for the cameras because he's not jumping on anyone who showed the slightest interest, at least not immediately, as if it was some irresistible Pavlovian mechanism.

As for the laundry drama, maybe they only give them one set of work shirts and one set of dress (the whites) so that laundry has to be done pretty much every day.  Again that could be deliberate.

And they can't just do everyone's laundry separately from everyone else, it has to be dumped into big loads together.  Seems like you'd have to log each individual piece of clothing when you're mixing clothes from several crew and guests all the time.

Ellie for how highly she thinks of herself -- mostly as a sexually desirable young woman because don't you know she's got NFL stars in her DMs? -- seems to have quite a martyr's complex.  A generation of attractive young girls and women who grew up as social media stars are going to be lacking in humility.

Okay...I'm 84, so I'll agree that Ellie is a "...young woman," but just how YOUNG is she?  Is she simply one-a-them fillies who's rode hard and put away wet?" Appears older than real life?

How hard it is to do this laundry business? I guess crew must wash their clothes frequently since they work hard and get sweaty and all, but shouldn't there be labels on everyone's items?  I mean they wear the same uniforms, it is not that Sandy wears blue and Aesha yellow, if there aren't any labels then clothes will get mixed up.  It is not  quantum science.
Joe is such a cretin, but the "I am pathological flirt" new stew will soon join and then I guess Ellie and Brie will unite against her 😁, Sandy will fire them all and Aesha will do all the rest of the charts alone.
So the next Charter guests want Michelen kind of meals from an ordinary yachting chef? Lmao at Bravo!

It was so sweet that Aesha printed the history of Acropolis to tell to the rest of the crew (and mostly the tv viewers lol).

If Rachel was the chef the guests might have a chance of getting close or pretty much on the money but typically if you want Michelin rated food then go to a Michelin rated restaurant.

The mandarin orange slices on the crudo was a deal breaker for me.

The Acropolis visit, seemed like they just got taxi vans to drive them there but no guide or anything.

I wonder if they got some kind of priority entry.  The camera crew would probably need licenses to film there.

Who knows when they filmed the season but if it was in the summer, the Acropolis would be packed on a clear day.  I remember just even leaving was like leaving a stadium after a sporting event, as you had to walk slowly down with the crowd.

If it's in the summer, you would perspire just being outside for more than 15-30 minutes, let alone doing any kind of physical work or even just walking around.

no clue when they shot the Acropolis visit, but the "wildfires" charter must have filmed on last July. On the other hand, since the whole wildfires danger was kind of fake, now I doubt if they did film the charter last July or they just used last July's wildfires as drama. Acropolis visit doesn't help either, since cruises now come all year and  the Rock could be crowded even in February.
They do need special license to film, but they give those too easily and they might had stopped the tourists flow till Bravo crew take some shots.

The fact that clothing items are actually disappearing (vs. being returned the wrong party) coupled with Ellie's attitude makes me think she's fucking with it, trying to get Bri fired. As someone up thread said, Bri's an easy target because she's not the brightest.  Yes, she did wash Sandy's favorite white pants with colors and put cashmere in the dryer, but we all know that dryers only eat one sock at a time. Ellie's involved in the missing items, her reaction to the new rule sealed it.

I thought Joe's apology was a little douchy, "if I offended you". And where was Bri's apology? I also didn't care much for his attitude about Gael. He's giving chauvinist vibes.

I adore Aesha but her constant enthusiasm was exhausting to watch. Way too much excitement over fresh bread 😁

They've typically filmed late in the season because its cheaper, which is why they're often dealing with weather issues especially in the Med.

Ellie denied she sabotaged the laundry on WWHL.

She did do a lot of mea culpas about other things during the season.

Apologizes if this has already been mentioned but it seems that Peacock has been doing an after show for the last three episodes. Truthfully, 90% of it is as boring as the actual show but there are a couple of bits with Aesha and Kate Chastain that are fun.

They filmed later in the season (I believe it happened before, as well) because Bravo showed a huge storm in the previews. Those are more common later on.

The last time I was at the Acropolis was in February of 2016 (but it was a nice, clear, sunny day- 21°C, about 70°F), and it was quite crowded.

Bri seems incompetent according to the previews, even after the separation of laundry items.

Aesha is perpetually hyper, and overenthusiastic about everything.

I still don't like Joe.

Well, if it was summer the storm must have been filmed in June where we had a few  storms, , otherwise  it was indeed September or/and October.

I have noticed that in the boat the crew eat packaged sliced bread for toast. Also, I am not sure I have ever seen the guests eat bread. In any case, I doubt the Chef has time to make fresh bread for the crew. So maybe that is why Aesha was so excited! On top of that, it is quite a trend recently for restaurants here to make their own fresh sourdough bread.

The only way to get to the bottom of this laundry thing is for Aesha to go to the laundry room with Bri. Look at each piece of clothing with Bri before it is washed. If it is not labeled tell her to leave it on the table and have the crew come get their laundry and label it. If the clothing is not labeled do not wash it. I recall Kate labeling all of the crew uniforms as they got on the boat.

They are acting like this can't be fixed. Are they that stupid? Or as I said before they are just making this stuff up to create drama.

I'm finding 'Below Deck' is trying to stay relevant (or increase viewership) by featuring crew members being fired. If the stew/deck/ or Chef "deserve" firing, I understand, but to fire any chef when there's only 2 charters left is crazy.  Same with the 2 stews. They're bickering constantly, and Bri's emotional meltdowns are ridiculous, but so is Ellie's insistence that she's Bri's boss. Both are delusional.

If other members are complaining about those 2 fighting, then both SHOULD get dismissed, but if nobody's complaining, Sandy needs to slow her roll.

I also think I see cameras that are stationary (not held by camera people), like in the laundry room, or at the cabins of the crew (to film all those semi naked crew members when they try to change, take a shower, etc.). So, I assume there is footage of what happened. Not labeling clothing at this point shows incompetence (yes, I know I used the word a lot, but it fits).

On WWHL, they counted down the top 5 laundry mishaps on Bravo-- harking back to Elizabeth (I believe) making mustard gas in the laundry room and the time a stew melted a guest's gown. But I had to LOL when I saw Captain Lee wearing his too-tight uniform, barking, "look at me!"  Buttons were definitely straining! 😂
