It was nice seeing A Martinez.

Monica as super information broker using young, inexperienced pyschologist to blackmail cops into telling info to help her scummy, clients.  Okay, show.  And of course now she's going to help Hutchinson break out of jail.  Sure.

Of course Smitty would be hanging out five days a week at that office for the snacks.

Nolan promising the doc protection is a joke since cops city-wide are part of this mess.

The whole nanny mess thing is par for the course with this show.  How did neither Lopez or Harper ask for past references or at least do a deeper dive on her work history?  And of course now her former client is mixed up in this several degrees due to Monica.

I hope they rap up this nonsense and get rid of Monica for good on the finale.

I can't help thinking that the previous Super-Nanny/Security Babe, now "coincidentally" working for RM, is going to play a key role in helping Team Angela bring down this season's conspiracy of doofuses (much more useful than current Super-Nanny, aka Ms. Too Good To Be Truthful).

I wouldn't even put it past these writers to have brought back SN/SB to be a double agent for Team Angela (see air-quotes, above).

We all suspect it, right? They are not gonna kill Monica, just put her in jail from where she will torment our heroes for a few seasons more.

Aww, man. My hatred of this character is so intense, I never even thought of that. Now I have that thought living in my head, and I bet you're right. They do love themselves an evil person locked in jail and still being powerful somehow storyline.

I've started this post a few times, but can't really express how much I hate all these storylines.  Hate dirty cops.  Hate good cops being unjustly accused.  Hate the bitch lawyer.  Hate so much.

Can we wrap up all these storylines and go back to cops on patrol?

And, yes, I agree we will never get rid of the bitch lawyer and the idiot psychiatrist is going to die.

imo dirty cop storylines are fine, those are more the kind of villains the show should have, not international criminals/power brokers/whatever. This show needs street level threats, not Big Bads/Supervillains.

Oh, agreed. Or, to put it another way, how is Oscar STILL a thing? Matthew Glave has never been my favourite actor, and it would take a performance exponentially more entertaining to make this character work for the kind of mileage they’re trying to get out of him.
