With Asonta's death mere days before the season premiere I guess there wasn't a whole lot of editing they could do to minimize his screen time. Unfortunately, now every time he does something asshole-ish (and that looks to be often) I'll be calling him out under my breath while at the same time going, "but he's dead." Not that it excuses him at all but I'll feel a little guilty. Just a little.

What's the deal with 23-year old Britney driving a late-model E-Class Mercedes while working as a server (or something similar - can't remember)? As far as I can tell Kerok is not a Native American with a large monthly stipend like Chris in the last season. And her parents have disowned her so she ain't getting money from them. Weird.

Also weird is that it's apparently a requirement now for females dating an inmate to have long, elaborate nails with neon colors to flash at every opportunity. Although I guess it does help to pull your long hair/wig away from your face every 3.2 seconds.

I love that the camera flashes to this as Anthony's mother says, "I'm not the smartest knife in the drawer." How did she even do that? 😆😆😆 It's going to be dicey when she tries to drain it.

Doing it the other way (with cut made on top of the can inside the lid) lets the nasty top fall into your food.

I wondered that as well. Can't Baby Carrot Dreads give us some intel on that?

She is either a server or a bartender or maybe both. I can't figure out how she manages that job with those nails either.

Haven’t there been other seasons where they said that if you are on parole you can’t even live with a spouse if they are a felon?  So Britney thinks as long as she doesn’t set foot on prison grounds she can live with Kerok?  And it’s worth risking serving another 20 years?

They haven't been very clear about who is fully out with no obligations to the state/feds and who is on parole.  I feel like we haven't seen an ankle monitor in forever.

I thought Britney said if she set foot on the prison grounds her parole would be revoked and she would have to serve another 20 years.  But maybe I hallucinated.

I missed the live chat, so I was doing my own version adding all off my reactions here while watching in this post, but then the site did that annoying refresh thing, and I lost everything. Whelp, I guess I’ll just stick with my biggest takeaway. That failed balloon release to signify Brittany’s prison release and new start at life was the most poetic metaphor I have ever seen on a reality TV show. That idiot blew up the balloons instead of getting helium?!? I hope we all remember this moment for the next Primetimer Awards nominations.

Technically, Kerok lives with his mother.   Britney is just staying there.  I don't know if that would pass a parole officer sniff test.  Maybe it will be a plot point later?  They seem pretty sweet, all things considered.  There are much less happy couples on this show.

The silver lining is that balloon releases are horrible for the environment so every botched one helps save the planet lol.

It probably depends on the jurisdiction, the rules may not be the same everywhere.
